Mr. Léo Apotheker has a Bachelor's degree in Economics & International Relations. He started his career in 1978 at the Hebrew University as Senior Controller in the Finance Department. In 1984, he joined Mc Cormack & Dodge as European Operations Director. In 1988, he became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SAP France & Belgium. In 1995 he was appointed Chairman (France) of SAP AG and in 1997 he became Chief Executive Officer for South West Europe region. In 2000, he was appointed Chairman EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and he became member of the Extended Management Board of SAP AG. In July 2002, he became President Customer Solutions & Operations, Member of the Executive Committee of SAP AG. Since March 2006, Mr. Léo Apotheker has been President Customer Solutions & Operations and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of SAP AG.

Erwin Gunst is labor relations director and chief operating officer (COO) of SAP AG and has been a member of the SAP Executive Board since July 1, 2008, leading the office of the COO. He is responsible for company operations and process efficiency. Additionally, Gunst is responsible for global human resources and labor relations, SAP internal information technology (IT), and the management of all SAP Labs worldwide. Previously, Gunst served as president of SAP's EMEA region, directing all aspects of field operations across the organization. He assumed the role in March 2007, when both EMEA regions (Central and NEWS) were merged into one. In 2006, Gunst was appointed a corporate officer of SAP AG and subsequently was named a member of SAP's Executive Council. Gunst returned to SAP in 2004 as president of SAP EMEA NEWS after leaving the company in January 2002 to take a sabbatical. Prior to that, he was appointed to the SAP Extended Management Board in April 2000, responsible for the German and Swiss markets. Between 1993 and 1999, Gunst served as Managing Director of SAP subsidiaries in Belgium, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Gunst joined SAP in May 1988, initially serving as international controller for SAP International in Biel, Switzerland, before being promoted to director of Finance and Controlling in 1990. Before joining the company, Gunst served as an audit assistant at Touche Ross and later as a financial analyst with Telex Computer Products. Gunst holds a degree with distinction in commercial engineering from the Free University in Brussels. He speaks English, German, French, and Dutch.

Werner Brandt has been a member of the Executive Board of SAP AG and Chief Financial Officer, responsible for all corporate financial activities as well as administration of the company. He also oversees shared services organizations and SAP Ventures. Brandt joined SAP in February 2001 in his current position. From 1999 to 2001, he was a member of the executive board and chief financial officer of the German-American healthcare company, Fresenius Medical Care AG, where he also served as labor relations director. From 1992 to 1999, Brandt was a member of the management board of Baxter Deutschland GmbH and vice president for European operations. In this capacity, he was responsible for Baxter's financial operations in Europe. Brandt began his career at the former Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Stuttgart, where he worked first as an auditor and then in progressively more responsible positions from 1981 to 1992. Brandt completed his doctorate in business administration from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, in 1991, after studying business administration at the University of Nuremberg-Erlangen, Germany, from 1976 to 1981. He is a member of the supervisory boards of Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Frankfurt am Main, Germany; QIAGEN N.V., Venlo, Netherlands; and of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Heidelberg, Germany.

Dr. Joachim Milberg has been a member of BMW's Board of Management since 1993, and was named BMW's Chairman of the Board of Management in 1999, where he remained until his retirement in May 2002. Prior to joining BMW in 1993, Dr. Milberg taught at Munich (Germany) Technical University. He also served as Director of the Research Institute for Machine Tools and Management Science with the Centre for Production Automation and Robot Technology in Munich, and the Production Technology User Centre in Augsburg, Germany.
