Lester L. Lyles has been an independent consultant since 2003. Prior to that, he served in the U.S. Air Force for over 35 years, as: Commander of the Space and Missile Systems Center from 1994 - 1996; Director of the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization from 1996 - 1999; Vice Chief of Staff of the Headquarters of the U.S. Air Force from 1999 to 2000; and Commander of the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command from 2000 - 2003. Mr. Lyles is also a director of General Dynamics Corporation, MTC Technologies, Inc., The Dayton Power and Light Company, ANSER Corp., and Baltelle Memorial Institute.
