Michael J. Mack, Jr. is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Deere & Company, a position he has held since January 2006. As Chief Financial Officer, Mack is responsible for advising the chairman and division presidents on major financial and strategic growth issues, and for managing Deere & Company's worldwide financial and planning functions. In his position, he is also responsible for business planning and development, and investor communications.
Mack began his career at the John Deere Des Moines Works as a summer intern engineer and has held positions in Treasury while living in Europe. He has held assignments elsewhere in dealer systems, business development, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and marketing. Prior to returning to the Finance Division as Vice President and Treasurer in 2004, Mack served as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Administration for the company's Worldwide Commercial & Consumer Equipment Division.

Bharat Vedak is Senior Vice President, John Deere Intelligent Mobile Equipment Technologies. In his role, he is responsible for applying smart electronic solutions to John Deere equipment.
Vedak first joined John Deere in 1974 at its Product Engineering Center in Waterloo, Iowa, and completed a number of assignments there. In 1983, he became Manager, Quality Engineering at the John Deere Engine Works, and eventually was appointed Vice President of Engineering for John Deere's Rotary Engine Division. In 1990, he joined Cummins, Inc. as an executive engineer, and advanced to the position of Vice President, Industrial Customer Engineering. He returned to John Deere in 2005, when he was named to his current position.
Vedak has a bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India, a master's degree in agricultural engineering from North Carolina State University, and a MBA from the University of Northern Iowa.
Vedak is a Fellow of SAE International of which he has been an active member more than 30 years. He has served on the advisory board of the Agricultural and Biological department at North Carolina State University and on the Board of Directors of SAE International.

Brett Smith is the President of S&S Cycle. Brett is a third generation family-member (grandson of George and Marjorie Smith, founders of S&S Cycle). He began his professional career with the company as CFO in February of 2002. In April 2003, was also named the VP-Sales & Marketing while maintaining the CFO title. Douglas C. DeVries is Senior Vice President, Agricultural Marketing – North America, Australia and Asia. He has held this position since January 2000. She joined Springs Industries in 1973 as a financial analyst. She was named executive vice president of The Springs Company, a subsidiary, in 1978, and was later appointed its president in 1982. In 1992, Bowles was named executive vice president, growth and development of Springs Industries, and one year later was named the company's executive vice president of textile production. In 1995 she was appointed the president of Springs Industries' bath fashions group. In January 1997, she became president and chief operating officer of the company, and in December of that year, she was named its chief operating officer. In April 1998, Bowles also was elected as the company's chairman. In 2006, she became Co-Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Springs Global US, Inc. and Springs Global Participacoes S.A.; and Chairman of Springs Industries, Inc.
She has been a member of Springs Industries' board of directors since 1978, and also is a member of the board of directors of JP Morgan Chase & Company, Sara Lee Corporation, Carolina Thread Trail, and The Springs Close Foundation, Inc. Bowles is on the national advisory board of the Maya Angelou Research Center on Minority Health and is a member of The Business Council, the Committee of 200, and the South Carolina Climate, Energy and Commerce Advisory Committee.
Bowles holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Wellesley College, and a master's of business administration from Columbia University.

David B. Speer is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ITW. Mr. Speer joined ITW in 1978 and has held various selling, marketing and general management responsibilities within the Construction Products organization. In 1984, he became General Manager of ITW's Buildex business and assumed additional responsibilities for the Ramset/Red Head business in 1987 and for the Canadian Construction Products businesses from 1988. In 1992, he became General Manager of the Paslode North American businesses. In September 1993, he became Group Vice President of the Construction Products organization, with responsibility for the global Buildex businesses, the Canadian Construction businesses and the Paslode North American businesses. In 1994, the Paslode European businesses were added to his responsibilities and in January 1995 the Asia Pacific Construction Products businesses. In September 1995, he became Executive Vice President of the global Construction Products businesses. In 1997, he added the additional responsibilities of ITW's Finishing Systems businesses globally. In 2003, Mr. Speer transferred responsibilities for the Finishing Systems businesses to another ITW Executive Vice President while assuming responsibility for the global Wilsonart businesses. In August 2004, he was named President of ITW. In August 2005, Mr. Speer was elected to the position of Chief Executive Officer and in May 2006 he assumed the additional responsibilities as Chairman. Mr. Speer graduated from Iowa State University in 1973, earning a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. In 1977, he received a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from The Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University. Mr. Speer is a member of the Board of Directors of Rockwell Automation and the Advisory Board of Northwestern University's Masters of Manufacturing and Management Program. He is on the Boards of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the Executives' Club of Chicago, Rush Medical Center, the Museum of Science and Industry and the Economic Club of Chicago. Mr. Speer is also a member of The Commercial Club and The Business Council.

Dipak Jain was named dean of the Kellogg School of Management in 2001. He joined the Kellogg School of Management faculty in 1986 as an associate professor and became an associate dean in 1996. In 1994 he was named the school's Sandy and Morton Goldman Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies and professor of marketing.
In addition to his teaching at Kellogg, Jain has served as a visiting professor at the Koblenz Business School, Germany; Nijenrode University, the Netherlands; Chulalongkorn University, Thailand; IIT Delhi, India; Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong; and Tel Aviv University, Israel.
