Michael J. Mack, Jr. is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Deere & Company, a position he has held since January 2006. As Chief Financial Officer, Mack is responsible for advising the chairman and division presidents on major financial and strategic growth issues, and for managing Deere & Company's worldwide financial and planning functions. Daniel C. McCabe is Senior Vice President, Equipment Lending – U.S. and Canada, John Deere Credit, a position he has held since June 2007. James R. Jabanoski is Vice President, Information Technology for Deere & Company. He was appointed to the position in January 2007. James R. Jenkins is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Deere & Company. He was named to the position in March 2000. Lawrence W. Sidwell is Senior Vice President, Ag Financial Services for John Deere Credit. He has held the position since 2003. He is responsible for the thrift, Farm Plan, wholesale agribusiness, operating loans, and crop insurance. Sidwell joined John Deere in October 1999 as Process Owner, Market Development for John Deere Credit, and was named Vice President the same year. Mark von Pentz is President, Agricultural Division – Europe, Africa, South America and Global Harvesting Equipment Sourcing for Deere & Company. He has held the position since September 2007. Dr. Bernhard Haas is Vice President, Manufacturing – Global Tractor & Implement Sourcing of Deere & Company, a position he has held since September 2006. Gary L. Medd is Vice President, Internal Audit, a position he has held since May 2005. In his position, Medd directs the worldwide internal audit function for Deere & Company. Klaus G. Hoehn is Vice President, Advanced Technology and Engineering, a position he has held since January 2006. He is responsible for directing advanced technology development and engineering services that support worldwide agricultural, construction, and commercial and consumer equipment design and manufacturing. Hoehn joined Deere & Company in 1992 as Manager, Engineering, at John Deere Werke, Mannheim, Germany. Marie Z. Ziegler is Vice President, Investor Relations of Deere & Company. She was appointed to this position in May 2001. Greg Van Grinsven is Manager of Lean & Six Sigma at Deere & Co. where he has worked since 1974. Bharat Vedak is Senior Vice President, John Deere Intelligent Mobile Equipment Technologies. In his role, he is responsible for applying smart electronic solutions to John Deere equipment. Brett Smith is the President of S&S Cycle. Brett is a third generation family-member (grandson of George and Marjorie Smith, founders of S&S Cycle). He began his professional career with the company as CFO in February of 2002. In April 2003, was also named the VP-Sales & Marketing while maintaining the CFO title.
