John S. Brinzo has been a member of our board of directors since October 2006. Mr. Brinzo has been affiliated with Cleveland-Cliffs, North America's largest producer of iron ore pellets, since 1967. He served in various operational finance roles and also as chief financial officer before becoming chief executive officer in 1997. In 2000 he was named chairman of the board. Mr. Brinzo retired from Cleveland-Cliffs as its CEO In September 2006 and has announced his intention to retire as chairman in early 2007. Mr. Brinzo served as chairman of the National Mining Association from 2005 to 2006, and currently is a director and chairman-elect of the Audit Committee at The Brink's Company. Richard H. Anderson became Chief Executive Officer of Delta Air Lines, effective Sept. 1, 2007. Richard has nearly 20 years of aviation experience. He entered the industry in 1987 at Continental Airlines, where he served as staff Vice President and deputy general counsel. In 1990, he began a 14-year career at Northwest Airlines where he served as Vice President and deputy general counsel; Senior Vice President of Technical Operations and Airport Affairs; executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer; and as Chief Executive Officer from 2001 to 2004. Richard joined Delta from UnitedHealth Group, where he was Executive Vice President and served as President of UnitedHealth’s Commercial Markets Group. Edward Bastian is chief executive officer and president for Northwest Airlines, Inc. and also serves as president and chief financial officer for Delta Air Lines, Inc.
As president at Delta, Bastian and his team oversaw and coordinated the Company's strategy from network planning and revenue management to sales, marketing and business development. In his prior role as CFO Bastian also served as the Company's Chief Restructuring Officer, leading Delta through one of the largest and most successful Chapter 11 restructuring processes in U.S. history, and did so in 19 months. The solid business plan Bastian helped develop included $3 billion in annual financial improvements and garnered strong support from the company's creditors and employees. In addition to achieving an industry leading financial position, Delta's Plan of Reorganization included an innovative compensation program for Delta employees including stock, cash payouts and pay increases.
Bastian joined Delta in October 1998 as vice president of Finance and Controller and was promoted to senior vice president in February 2000. In that role, Bastian guided the company through profit improvement initiatives garnering $5 billion in cost savings and revenue benefits between 2002 and 2004.
Bastian left Delta in early 2005 to become senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer of Acuity Brands. He returned to Delta in July 2005 as CFO and was promoted to president in August 2007.
Bastian previously worked for PepsiCo where he served as vice president of Finance for Pepsi Cola International. While at PepsiCo he had also served as vice president of business processes reengineering for Frito-Lay and vice president, Finance and Controller for Frito-Lay International. Prior to PepsiCo, Bastian was a partner in the New York audit practice of Price Waterhouse specializing in the entertainment, advertising and manufacturing sectors, and also served as the strategic planning partner for Price Waterhouse's New York Region.
A 1979 graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a BBA, Bastian currently serves on the International Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity and the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. Bastian lives in Atlanta with his wife, Anna, and their four children.

John E. "Ned" Walker, 56, joined Delta as Senior Vice President & Chief Communications Officer in November 2008. Ned joined Delta after retiring from Continental Airlines after a distinguished 21 year career in corporate communications.
Under Ned's leadership, Continental became recognized as a leader in internal and external communications. During Ned's last five years, Fortune Magazine ranked Continental the Most Admired Global Airline.
During his career, Ned promoted coordinated communications within the airline to establish consistent messaging with employees, shareholders, media and the public.
Ned was a key contributor to Continental's remarkable turnaround in the late 1990s when the airline rose to the top of the industry in employee morale and customer service after two bankruptcies. In 1996, Ned was named Employee Communications All-Star by Inside PR and was recognized for helping to transform Continental's once authoritarian corporate culture into a more employee-friendly environment.
He joined Continental in 1987 and was immediately involved in communications as the airline merged with PeopleExpress, New York Air and several commuter airlines.
Ned began his aviation career with Frontier Horizon, a Frontier Airlines' subsidiary.
Ned had previously been a journalist with The Chicago Tribune-owned KWGN-TV in Denver.
He serves on the Advisory Council of the College of Communications at the University of Texas at Austin. Ned was chairman of the visitor relations subcommittee for the Super Bowl XXXVIII Host Committee. He holds a bachelor's degree in mass communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Mike Becker is the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer NWA. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations for Northwest Airlines, Inc. Mike h as served on the boards of the University of Minnesota Industrial Relations Center, the Minnesota International Center, and the Narita Radisson Hotel. He resides in Eden Prairie, Minn. with his wife and children.
Stephen E. Gorman has been President, North America of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts since August 2001. From 1996 to August 2001, Mr. Gorman served in a number of senior management positions for Northwest. He was Executive Vice President, Technical Operations and Flight Operations of Northwest from February 2001 to August 2001, Senior Vice President, Technical Operations from January 1999 to February 2001, and Vice President, Engine Maintenance Operations from 1996 to January 1999. Prior to joining Northwest, Mr. Gorman was Vice President, Operations for Aviall, Inc. Mr. Gorman is also a director of Rohn Industries, Inc.

Theresa Wise is the Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer of Delta Air Lines. Most recently, Theresa served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Northwest Airlines.
Previously, she served as Vice President – Information Services since October 2001, overseeing the Northwest Airlines Information Services (IS) group.
Theresa joined Northwest in 1993 and prior to her appointment as Vice President – Information Services she held the position of Managing Director Information Services.
Theresa graduated from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and chemistry and holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science degree in operations research and applied math from Cornell University. She is an active supporter of the arts, having served on the boards of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Children’s Theatre Company, and as a violinist with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra.
Glen W. Hauenstein is Executive Vice President – Network Planning & Revenue Management. He joined Delta in August 2005. The 20-year veteran of the airline industry was previously Vice General Director for Alitalia, serving in the dual role of Chief Commercial Officer as well as Chief Operating Officer.
Under Glen's leadership, Alitalia's revenues grew by almost 20 percent while the aircraft fleet was reduced by more than 10 percent. This dramatic rise in revenue in conjunction with significantly increased asset utilization has been the lynchpin of Alitalia's recapitalization plan. In his role as Chief Commercial Officer, he led a major restructuring of Alitalia's route network, which improved schedule connectivity by more than 50 percent. As Chief Operating Officer, Glen and his team were responsible for one of the most impressive operational turnarounds in modern aviation.
Prior to joining Alitalia in 2003, Glen was Senior Vice President, Network for Continental Airlines, where he was responsible for planning and execution of the airline's schedule, fleet, pricing, and revenue management strategies. Glen joined Continental in 1987 as International Controller.

John Boatright, 56, is Vice President of Corporate Real Estate and Sourcing Strategy for Delta Air Lines. He is responsible for the acquisition, transfer and administration of properties as well as design and construction approvals and development of all on and off-airport properties. He will also be responsible for creating long-term goals to expand and improve Delta’s 300 airport locations, specifically its hubs in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Salt Lake City and New York-JFK.
Boatright, an industry veteran and former Delta leader, began his career at Delta in 1972 as a Cargo Service Agent and served in various Delta leadership positions for the next 31 years including Director-International Atlantic; Director-Facilities and Director-Airport and Corporate Affairs. In 1996, Boatright became Delta’s Vice President-Properties and Facilities where he was responsible for the design and construction of Delta facilities worldwide. Boatright was then appointed Vice President-Corporate Real Estate and Sourcing Strategy in 2001, a position he served in before leaving Delta in 2003 to become President of Boatright Aviation Consultants, Inc.
As President of Boatright Aviation Consultants, Boatright was Project Officer for the Hartsfield Jackson Development Program-a $6.2 billion capital improvement program lead by the City of Atlanta. In 2006, Boatright became President and CEO of Americorp Holdings, Inc., before returning to Delta and his previously held post of Vice President-Corporate Real Estate in May 2007.
Boatright graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1972 and received his MBA from Mercer University in 1985. He is also a 1991 graduate of Columbia University’s Executive International Management Program.

Douglas M. Steenland was president and chief executive officer of Northwest Airlines until 2008. He was named president of Northwest in 2001 and chief executive officer in 2004. Prior to joining Northwest in 1991, Mr. Steenland was a senior partner at the Washington, D.C. law firm of Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, McPherson, and Hand (now part of Piper Rudnick, Washington, D.C.). Richard “Ben” Hirst is the Senior Vice President & General Counsel for Delta Air Lines. He most recently served as Northwest’s Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs and General Counsel. In that role, he oversaw the company’s legal affairs and also was responsible for the company’s internal and external communications.
Ben joined Northwest Airlines in 1990 as Senior Vice President – General Counsel and in 1994 assumed the post of Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs which he held until he resigned in 1999. During that period he was responsible for the company’s labor relations and government affairs, in addition to his other responsibilities. After leaving Northwest in 1999, Ben was General Counsel of the Minnesota Twins, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Burger King Corporation and Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of KB Home.
From 1986 to 1990 Hirst was Vice President – General Counsel and Secretary at Continental Airlines. Before joining Continental in 1983, he was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Puget Sound Law School, Tacoma, Washington and, during the deregulation of the airline industry, was Assistant to the Director of International and Domestic Aviation for the Civil Aeronautics Board. In his early career he was in private law practice in Vermont and served as a law clerk in U.S. District Court in Vermont. While in college he spent a year as a reporter on the Providence (R.I.) Journal-Bulletin.
He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1972 and Harvard College in 1969. He lives in Woodland, MN with Nancy, his wife, and Bailey, a West Highland Terrier.
