Design Within Reach Inc.

Mr. Brunner is President and Chief Executive Officer of Design Within Reach. Mr. Brunner joined Design Within Reach in April 2002 as Vice President of Studios and has served in roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, Mr. Brunner served as DWR's Executive Vice President of Real Estate and Studio Operations, where he was instrumental in growing the Company's Studio base to represent over 70% of sales. His career in retail began in 1970 and includes senior level management positions at Gap, Inc., Conran's North America, Eddie Bauer, adidas Group and Esprit Holdings Ltd. In addition, Mr. Brunner served as president of RGB & Associates, a strategic consulting company he founded in 1993. Mr. Brunner attended Western Connecticut State University.

Mr. Upland joined Design Within Reach in December 2008 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Mr. Upland served as the acting Chief Executive Officer of Britanne Corp., a manufacturer and wholesaler of microfiber products, from November 2006 to November 2008, and as the acting Chief Financial Officer for Tippett Studios, a computer graphics animation studio, from March 2007 to November 2008. Prior to that, he served as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Prints Plus, Inc., a retailer of prints and framing from April 1997 to May 2006. Mr. Upland holds a B.S. in Political Science, a J.D. and an M.B.A., each from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California.

Ms. Billings has served as a member of our board of directors since November 2003. Since April 2003, Ms. Billings has served as brand strategist of RedEnvelope, Inc., an Internet retailer of upscale gifts. From February 2000 to April 2003, Ms. Billings served as chief marketing officer and chairman of the board of RedEnvelope, Inc. From June 1999 to February 2000, Ms. Billings served as chief executive officer of RedEnvelope, Inc. From May 1999 to June 1999, Ms. Billings served as chief merchandising officer of RedEnvelope, Inc. From July 1997 to May 1999, Ms. Billings served as senior vice president of brand design for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., a hotel and leisure company. Ms. Billings is currently a member of the boards of directors of Peet's Coffee and Tea, Inc., a publicly held coffee and tea retailer, and Hanna Andersson, Inc., a privately held multi-channel specialty apparel company. Ms. Billings holds a B.A. from Brown University.

Mr. Lynch is Senior Managing Director of DJM Realty, LLC, a diversified real estate consulting and advisory firm. Prior to joining DJM, from 1997 to 2003, he served as Executive Vice President Worldwide Operations of Warner Bros Studio Stores, where he led a complex closedown of the Studio Stores following the merger of AOL and Time Warner. Mr. Lynch has also been Chief Operating Officer of Sideout Sport, President and Chief Operating Officer of The Registry Stores, and President of Baby? Guess/Guess? Kids retail division. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer of House of Fabrics, Inc. and Store Furnishings International, Inc. From 1982 to 1990, Mr. Lynch was with The Emporium Capwell Department Store, where he rose through the ranks to become the Executive Vice President, Finance and Operations for this $800 million department store division of Carter Hawley Hale.
