Smoot has served as director of photography on dozens of feature films including Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, The Windwalker, and the Academy Award-winning documentary feature, The Great American Cowboy. He also worked on another large-format film, Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets.

Dr. Roger Payne is best known for his discovery (with Scott McVay) that humpback whales sing songs, and for his theory that the sounds of fin and blue whales can be heard across oceans. He has studied the behavior of whales since 1967 and is founder and President of the Ocean Alliance. His BA degree is from Harvard University, and his Ph.D. from Cornell.

Reeves, an Egyptological advisor to the Freud Museum in London and the Myers Museum at Eton College, is an authority on the tomb robbing and history of exploration in the Valley of the Kings. He has authored several books including Valley of the Kings: the Decline of a Royal Necropolis and The Complete Tutankhamun.

Truitt, from National Geographic Television, co-produced "Mysteries of Egypt" with Scott Swofford. Prior to working on this film, she produced the NBC television special Arctic Kingdom: Life at the Edge. She has won several awards for her work, including the People's Choice award at the International Nature Film Festival. Lisa also co-produced NG's most recent large-format film, Lewis & Clark: Great Joruney West.

While serving as technical advisor on the film, he has also been involved in the enormous task of mapping the Sphinx. He is currently working on the Giza project, looking for signs of the work force which built the three great pyramids that are the only survivors of the ancient world's classic seven wonders.

Swofford has years of experience in large-format film. He has produced such captivating films as Amazon, which was recently nominated for an Academy Award, The Great American West, and the large-format film Shackelton's Antarctic Adenture.

Dr. Hawass is one of world's foremost Egyptologists and current Director General of the Giza Plateau, Saqqara and Bahria Oasis archaeological sites for the Egyptian Antiquities Organization. He has published numerous articles and written several books on the history and archaeology of Egypt -- most recently, Silent Images: Women in Pharaonic Egypt.

Neibaur has won many awards for his dramatic filmmaking talents, including an Emmy Award for a television special on the 200th anniversary of the Constitution. He has also directed Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West and the motion pictures Wildest Dreams, The Buttercream Gang, and Friendship's Field.
