Bob is Head of Television for Brand New Media and oversees the production of all of the company's television content and the development of new projects. Bob's career has spanned 30 years in the media industry. He has been instrumental in delivering and producing Television both in Broadcast Management and Production. He started his career at Channel Nine as Financial Controller but shortly after joined a new management team to oversee the amalgamation of local stations into the Nine Network Group. Bob was soon seconded to work overseas for the Nine Network where he developed a number of projects in the U.S.A. and Europe. He returned to Australia in late 1987 as Group General Manager of the Ten Network. Bob moved into independent television production and has produced around 1000 hours of television programming for the Ten, Seven Network and Nine Network.

Mr Christie has had extensive experience as a CEO, company director, business strategist, venture capitalist, venture manager and people and business developer. He took on his first role as a professional non-executive director over 33 years ago with an emphasis throughout on fast-growth companies. Since then he has had extensive experience as a CEO, company director, business strategist, venture capitalist, venture manager and people and business developer. He is currently the Executive Chairman of CEO Mentor Pty Ltd and of Foundation 1000 a wealth creating and philanthropic trust. He is also chair of three other small to medium private companies. Mr Christie holds a Bachelor of Arts, Masters of Business Administration, Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Sciences and is a Founding Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Trustee for the Committee for the Economic Development of Australia, a Member of the Directors' Club and a Member of the Directors' Learning Group. Mr Christie is a member of destra's Audit Committee, Chairman of destra's M&A Committee and Chairman of destra's Remuneration Committee.
