Bethel (Snyder) Cooley married Jon Christian Cooley on a beautiful Labor Day weekend in 1993. Beth and Chris have lived in Michigan , where Beth grew up, and moved three years ago to Plymouth , Michigan where they currently enjoy family life! Their daughter Katie (Kathleen named after Chris' Aunt) was born December 6, 1996. She is a high-spirited, energetic, sweet and caring little girl, who has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger right where every Daddy should be! Katie is very social and loves to play with her friends. She is also very crafty, and can turn a plain white paper plate into a shoe that fits! She is very good on the monkey bars, likes to ice skate, dance and sing along with the music on her headphones! Katie will start the 4th grade this Fall. The family dog, Dugan, is almost 12 years old and is the most spoiled rotten dog alive. He snoozes all day, (no more energy to chase the squirrels) and then sleeps on the bed at night! But he's part of the family and we'll hate to see him go some day. Chris works for Detroit Edison in Detroit , where he leads a group of technical support staff who protect the company from computer system viruses. He enjoys his work in Information Protection, and likes to learn new technology as it's created, making him a Subject Matter Expert. He also loves to sing in the contemporary band at church, and plays drum set occasionally. He feels right at home with the musicians and practices every week with the band. Chris is a passionate football and basketball fan, and likes to spend a Saturday afternoon in the "Big House" watching his team! Go Blue! Beth is a homemaker, field trip chaperone, church volunteer, and Volunteer Communications Coordinator for a charity called City Mission. She spends her free time talking with friends over a cup of coffee and chocolate dessert. (Chocolate is one her major food groups!) She enjoys their church activities, and twice-a-year late-night scrapbooking sessions with old friends!
