David C. Swanson has been Chief Executive Officer of R.H. Donnelley since May 2002. He was elected to the Board in December 2001 and served as Chairman from December 2002 to January 2006 and then was re-appointed Chairman once again in April 2006. Swanson has held increasingly senior management positions over the past 20 years since he joined the Company in 1985 as an Account Executive. He was named Executive Vice President of Sales in 1995, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Proprietary Operations in 1997 and Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy in 1998 in conjunction with the company's spin-off from Dun & Bradstreet as an independent public company. He became President of Donnelley Directory Services in 1999 and served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from December 2000 until May 2002. Swanson is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Yellow Pages Association (YPA) and has served on the Board since December 2003.

Margaret LeBeau has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer since January 2006. Prior to the Dex Media Merger, Ms. LeBeau served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Dex Media. Gretchen Zech has served as Senior Vice President Human Resources since June 2006. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Zech served as Group Vice President Human Resources at Gartner, Inc., a technology research and consulting firm.

R. Barry Sauder has served as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since January 2008. Prior to joining RHD, Mr. Sauder served as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of InfraSource Services, Inc., a specialty contractor servicing electric, natural gas and telecommunications infrastructure, from April 2004 to October 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Sauder served as Vice President and Principal Accounting Officer of GSI Commerce, Inc., a provider of e-commerce solutions, from January 2001 to April 2004 and Director of Finance from August 1999 to August 2000. Mr. Sauder is a certified public accountant. Each director is elected for a three-year term and continues in office until his or her successor has been elected and qualified, or until his or her earlier death, resignation or retirement.

Robert J. Bush has served as Vice President Interim Controller and Interim Chief Accounting Officer since November 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Bush served as Vice President Special Projects from April 2008 to November 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Bush served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from January 2006 to April 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Bush served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

George Bednarz was appointed Executive Vice President, Enterprise Sales and Operations inJune 2008. Bednarz was formerly Senior Vice President of Operations since January 2008; Senior Vice President, RHD Interactive since January 2007; Senior Vice President, Integration, Corporate Planning/Administration and Communications since January 2006; Vice President, Corporate Planning and Information Technology since November 2004; Vice President and General Manager, Publishing, Information Technology and Corporate Planning since 2003; Vice President and General Manager, Publishing and Information Technology since 2001 and Vice President and General Manager, Publishing, since 1995. Previously, Bednarz worked with The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, where he held executive positions of increasing responsibility from 1976 to 1995 in Telephone Call Center Operations, Marketing Database Management, Customer Service, Information Technology and Strategic Planning. Bednarz holds an M.B.A. from Duke University and a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Gretchen Zech joined R.H. Donnelley in June 2006. She is responsible for strategic management and direction of all human resources and labor relations functions for the company. Before coming to R.H. Donnelley, Gretchen was group vice president, human resources, for Gartner, Inc., a global information technology research and consulting firm, where she was responsible for managing company human resources efforts. Earlier in her career, she held various senior leadership roles in human resources with The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, Bloomingdale's, and Best Buy. Zech holds a degree from The University of Michigan, as well as executive education program certifications in negotiation and labor relations from Harvard University and The University of Michigan, respectively. She is credentialed as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR).

Mark Hianik was appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of R.H. Donnelley on April 16, 2008. Prior to joining the company, Hianik was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Tribune Company, a Chicago-based media company. Prior to joining Tribune, Hianik was a corporate and securities partner with Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon, a national law firm. Before attending law school, Hianik, a Certified Public Accountant, was an auditor for Arthur Andersen in Chicago. Hianik received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois and his J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago.

Sean W. Greene has served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Business Development since October 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Greene served as Vice President & General Manager of Dex Search Marketing since December 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Greene served as Vice President of Interactive Strategy, Product Management and Business Development from September 2006 to December 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Greene served as Assistant Vice President of Competitive Strategy and Business Development.

Tyler D. Gronbach was appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Administration, in January, 2007. Gronbach joined R.H. Donnelley in October 2005 and served as Vice President of Corporate Communications. Prior to joining the company, Gronbach was with Qwest Communications International Inc., where he served as Vice President of Corporate Communications. Prior to joining Qwest, Gronbach directed communications activities for LCI International. Previously, he held account management positions with Washington, D.C. and New York-based public relations agencies, directing communications programs for clients in the consumer electronics and consumer goods industries, as well as for technology and communications companies. He holds a BA from Marist College.

Jenny L. Apker has served as Vice President and Treasurer since May 2003. Prior to that, she was Assistant Treasurer at Allied Waste Industries, a waste services company, since 1998. Before joining Allied Waste Industries, Ms. Apker was Vice President at First Interstate Bank of Arizona, a banking institution that was subsequently acquired by Wells Fargo. Prior to joining First Interstate Bank of Arizona, Ms. Apker spent 11 years at Greyhound Financial Corporation, a financial services company.

Sanjay Swani currently is a General Partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe. He joined WCAS in 1999 focusing on investments in the information and business services and communications industries. Prior to joining WCAS, he was a Director with Fox Paine & Company, a San Francisco-based private equity firm. Swani also spent four years in the Mergers, Acquisitions & Restructuring Department and two years in the Debt Capital Markets Department of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co. He earned an undergraduate degree from Princeton University in 1987 and concurrent degrees from the Harvard Law School and the MIT Sloan School of Management in 1994.

Alan F. Schultz, 49, is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Valassis. He serves on the Valassis' Board of Directors as the Chairman of Valassis' Executive Committee. The company is a respected leader within the marketing services industry and is well known for its innovative promotional media properties. Under his leadership, Valassis increased its revenue from $762.2 million in 1998 to $2,242.2 in 2007. In 2007 Schultz led the company through a $1.2 billion acquisition and integration of ADVO, Inc., the nation’s leading direct mail media company. The combined company has 7,000 employees in 28 states and nine countries. Valassis has received more than 30 awards for excellence in business ethics, quality, innovation and employee life-balance practices. Schultz serves on the Board of Directors of the The Ad Council, The American Advertising Federation and R.H. Donnelly and is regarded as an industry pioneer in building convergence among the promotion and advertising industries. He has served as a Director of Valassis since December 1995 and was elected CEO and President in June 1998, and appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors in 1998. Prior to these appointments, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1996 to 1998 and held numerous leadership positions in sales, marketing, operations and finance with the company. Schultz joined Valassis from Deloitte and Touche in 1984. A CPA, he graduated with distinction in 1981 from the University of Michigan.

Nancy E. Cooper has been a director since February 2003 and her term expires at the 2009 annual meeting. Ms. Cooper has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CA, Inc., a leading information technology management software company, since August 2006. Prior to that, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IMS Health Incorporated, which is a leading provider of information solutions to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries and which we refer to as IMS, since December 2001. Prior to that, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Reciprocal, Inc., a leading digital distribution infrastructure enabler, from July 2000 to October 2001.

Ron Rittenmeyer is the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of EDS, a leading global technology services provider, which was sold to Hewlett-Packard in August of 2008. He served in various senior management positions with EDS from July 2005 to December 2008. Previously, Rittenmeyer served as Managing Director of The Cypress Group, a private equity firm, from December 2004 to June 2005. Prior to that, he served as Chairman, President and CEO of Safety-Kleen,Inc. from June 2001 to July 2004.

E. Thayer Bigelow, Jr., has served as the Managing General Partner of Bigelow Media, LLC, advisor to media and entertainment companies, since September 2000. Previously, Bigelow served as President and CEO of Time Warner Cable Programming; President and COO of HBO; President of American Television and Communications; and CFO of Time Inc.

Thomas E. Reddin has been a director since July 2007 and his term expires at the 2008 annual meeting. Mr. Reddin is Chief Executive Officer of Gillette Evernham Motorsports, a NASCAR racing team, since February 2008. From 2005 until 2007, he was Chief Executive Officer of Lending Tree, LLC, a unit of InterActive Corp. that operates Home Loan Center, GetSmart.com, RealEstate.com, iNest and Domania. Before it was acquired by InterActive Corp., he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Lending Tree and also as the company s Chief Marketing Officer since 1999.
