Andrew Lippman is a senior research scientist at MIT and director of the Digital Life Resarch Program. Vince Barabba is the chairman of Kings County Ventures and the Market Insight Corporation. He retired in 2003 as the general manager of corporate strategy at the General Motors Corporation. He was recently appointed chairman of the State of the USA, a non-profit corporation with an educational mission to provide quality information, including quantitative indicators, to the American public on key changing societal, economic, and environmental conditions. Mr. Barabba twice served as director of the U.S. Bureau of the Census and is the only person to have been appointed to that position by U.S. Presidents of different political parties. Vinod Nair, the Managing Partner of Diamond’s India practice, has been a trusted advisor to clients throughout India, Europe and South Africa on a range of strategic and operational issues over the past 10 years. Now based in Mumbai, Vinod’s clients include leading international companies in the mobile and fixed telecommunications, technology, media, and manufacturing sectors, as well as potential investors in the private equity sector. Vinod joined Diamond in 1999 and played a key role in establishing the firm’s UK practice. Prior to that, Vinod worked for McKinsey & Company in India and South Africa with a focus on helping clients improve their operational capabilities. He has also worked with OC&C Strategy Consultants in London, serving clients in the telecom, media and private equity sectors. Education and Affiliation Vinod has a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Arnold R. Weber, President Emeritus of Northwestern University, has an impressive combination of experience in the fields of academia, public service, and business. He served as president of Northwestern from 1985-1994. His distinguished career also includes posts as president of the University of Colorado; provost and professor of economics and public policy at Carnegie Mellon University; and dean of the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie Mellon. Mr. Weber has also served as president of the Civic Committee of The Commercial Club of Chicago, the leading business and civic organization in the metropolitan area, from 1995-1999. Mr. Weber board experience is expansive, having previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Inc., PepsiCo Inc., Tribune Co., John Deere & Company, Aon Corp. and Inland Steel. During his career Mr. Weber served as a member of the faculty at the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago. He also served in the federal government as a Presidential appointee and as an economic advisor. He has been inducted into the National Academy of Arbitrators and the National Academy of Public Administration, is a Laureate of the Lincoln Academy of Illinois and a member of the Academy of Arts and Sciences. Mr. Weber is the author of eight books, as well as numerous monographs and articles on economic policy, industrial and labor relations, and higher education.

Donald R. Caldwell is founder and chairman of Cross Atlantic Capital Partners. Don oversees the operations of all of Cross Atlantic's offices and focuses a significant amount of his time on the growth of the Cross Atlantic franchise through fund raising, network development, and deal flow. He works closely with several portfolio companies, including: Brainspark, Kanbay, Mobile Cohesion, and Rubicon Technology. Prior to the formation of Cross Atlantic in March 1999, he was president and chief operating officer of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. (NYSE: SFE). (NASDAQ: CATP), a provider of information technology consulting and software development; and partner in the national office of Arthur Young & Co., a predecessor of Ernst & Young, LLP. Prior to joining Safeguard, Don held an executive position of a predecessor company of Cambridge Technology Partners, a provider of information technology consulting and software development; and was a partner in the national office of Arthur Young & Co., a predecessor to Ernst & Young, LLP. Don serves on several boards of publicly and privately held companies and civic organizations, including Diamond Cluster, Inc. (NASDAQ: DTPI), Quaker Chemical Corporation (NYSE: KWR), Kanbay International (NASDAQ: KBAY), Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (Chairman), Philadelphia Orchestra Association, and the Committee for Economic Development. Don is a CPA in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Harvard University. John Perry Barlow is a retired Wyoming cattle rancher, a former lyricist for the Grateful Dead, writer and cofounder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. In 1990, Barlow and Mitchell Kapor founded the Electronic Frontier Foundation, an organization which promotes freedom of expression in digital media. Mel Bergstein is the Chairman of the Board of Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, Inc. (Nasdaq: DTPI), a premier management and advisory firm serving Global 2000 clients worldwide. Sam Skinner was appointed White House Chief of Staff by President George W Bush after holding the position of Secretary of the Department of Transportation. Mr Skinner was President of the Commonwealth Edison Company and its holding company Unicom Corporation, one of the largest electric utilities in the US. He was then Chairman, President and CEO of USF Corporation a leading transportation and logistics company before retiring in May 2003. Mr Skinner has more than 20 years experience in the legal profession, part of which he served in the office of the US Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois and as US Attorney. While practicing law he also served as Chairman of the Regional Transportation Authority of north-eastern Illinois, the second largest mass transportation district in the US. He is a former member of the BHP Limited North American Advisory Board.
