Dr. Binder is a renowned Dermatopathologist and an internationally known expert in skin diseases with a specialty in pigmented lesions and lymphoid lesions of the skin. He is also the founder and Director of one of the few Dermatopathology fellowship training programs in the state of California. Dr. Binder brings a wealth of clinical experience to diagnostic dermatopathology and his comprehensive consultative reports are widely sought.

Dr Chatterjee is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and cytopathology. She received her medical degree from the University of Calcutta, India, and completed her pathology residency and a fellowship in anatomic pathology at the University of Ottawa, Canada. Dr Chatterjee's experience includes serving as pathologist and chief of clinical pathology at Womak Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC, during which time she developed a special interest in uropathology and worked closely with the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Dr Chatterjee has extensive diagnostic experience in uropathology and urine cytology.

Dr McCune is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and hematopathology. He received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Dr McCune completed pathology residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by a research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute and an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins Medical School department of pathology. He has extensive diagnostic experience in hematopathology and general surgical pathology, and he has performed tissue interpretation in support of numerous clinical trials at LabCorp. Dr McCune has authored papers published in journals such as Human Pathology, the Journal of Clinical Investigation, the American Journal of Pathology, and the Journal of Biological Chemistry.

Dr Poole is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. After graduating from the University of Kansas Medical School, Dr Poole was a surgical intern at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. He then returned to the University of Kansas as a surgical resident and subsequently transferred to pathology. Dr Poole completed both a residency and fellowship in surgical pathology and cytology. He joined the UroCor division of DIANON Systems in the fall of 1994. He has seen more than 120,000 prostate biopsies and has contributed to articles regarding suspicious focus on prostate needle biopsy and twelve-core needle biopsy sampling. He is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and the College of American Pathologists.

Dr O'Dowd received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr O'Dowd performed his pathology residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Utah Medical Center and did an additional fellowship year of anatomic pathology in FNA cytopathology with Dr William Frable at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr O'Dowd was an instructor in pathology at the George Washington University Affiliated Hospital and was a staff pathologist at the Washington Hospital Center. He has authored extensive articles in uropathology.

Dr Segal is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and hematology. After graduating from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, he was a resident and chief resident at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a hematopathology fellow at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Before joining DIANON Systems, Dr Segal was an assistant professor of pathology and medical director of the molecular hematopathology laboratory at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He has also been an assistant professor of pathology at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. Dr Segal is the recipient of numerous research awards and has authored more than 25 publications in hematopathology.

Dr Tepperberg is board-certified in clinical cytogenetics. He received a master's degree in genetics from West Virginia University, and a PhD in genetics and developmental biology from West Virginia University with thesis research at Duke University. He did his postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina. Dr Tepperberg supervises the molecular cytogenetics laboratory where he is responsible for the diagnosis, interpretation, and development of prenatal, postnatal, and cancer fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) testing. He also supervises staff continuing education and journal club, and he is involved with computer and library searches for patient-related cytogenetic problems. Dr Tepperberg is a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and a member of the American Society of Human Genetics and the Southeastern Regional Genetics Group.

Dr Johnson is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. She received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and she completed her residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the College of American Pathologists, the International Society for Analytic Cytometry, and the Clinical Cytometry Society. Dr Johnson has served as director of the flow cytometry laboratory at LabCorp's Center for Molecular Biology and Pathology Cytometry since 1991. She has more than 13 years of experience interpreting immunophenotypic analysis of leukemias and lymphomas by flow cytometry and DNA ploidy analysis by flow cytometry and image analysis.

Dr Rabin is board-certified in clinical molecular genetics. He holds a doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Illinois. Dr Rabin has developed and directed diagnostic laboratories in both academic and commercial sectors. He has worked at Genaissance Pharmaceuticals and Gene Logic and was instrumental in the development of the clinical molecular diagnostic laboratory at SmithKline Beecham. Dr Rabin has served on the pediatrics faculty at the University of Miami, where he established and directed the first clinical molecular diagnostic laboratory in the state of Florida.

Dr Fox is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile. Dr Fox completed a residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn, which included rotations at St Jude Children's Research Hospital. After residency, he worked for 12 years at LabCorp's Memphis-area laboratory, serving there for 10 years as medical director. In 1996, Dr Fox joined DIANON Systems, where he was involved primarily in the gastrointestinal pathology service. After 8 years with DIANON, he transferred to DIANON-North Carolina as co-director of gastrointestinal pathology.

Dr Kamal received his medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt. He completed pathology training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrence, Calif, and subspecialty training in the Klaus Lewin Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology Fellowship Program at UCLA. He has research interests in the areas of gastrointestinal and liver pathology and in medical device technology. His current research activity is in Barrett's esophagus and associated dysplastic and neoplastic changes. Dr Kamal has lectured on various topics in gastrointestinal and liver pathology, including inflammatory bowel disease, fatty liver disease, and improving the quality of gastrointestinal biopsies.

Nada Alsaigh, MD, Co-Director of Gastrointestinal Pathology at DIANONSystems, is is board-certified in anatomic pathology. She is a graduate of King Saud Medical School, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she was first in her class. Dr Alsaigh trained in anatomic pathology at New England Deaconess Hospital, where she was chief resident, and went on to complete fellowships in both gastrointestinal pathology and hematopathology. Her research at Deaconess focused on lymphoid disorders of the gastrointestinal system.

Dr Berry is board-certified in clinical cytogenetics. She received her doctorate from the Howard University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Dr Berry has more than 30 years of experience in mutational, prenatal, and cancer cytogenetics. She also has a background in environmental toxicology. Prior to joining DIANON Systems, she was a laboratory director at Genzyme Genetics in Tampa, Fla.

Dr Mishalani is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and hematology. She received her medical degree from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. Dr Mishalani joined DIANON Systems from Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she completed her residency and hematopathology subspecialty training and was chief resident. She has extensive training and experience in hematopathology and flow cytometry.

Dr Shoji is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and dermatopathology. He received his medical degree and doctorate from Toho University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan, and completed his residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Brown University. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the department of dermatology at Boston University under Dr Barbara Gilchrest; a fellowship in dermatopathology, including 6 months of dermatology at Boston Medical Center under Dr Jag Bhawan; and a fellowship in surgical pathology at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine under Dr J.J. Steinberg. He is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the American Society of Dermatopathology, and an associate member of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has authored many articles on endocrine science, melanocytic lesions, and other adnexal neoplasms in basic science and clinical journals. Before joining DIANON Systems, Dr Shoji was assistant professor of dermatology and pathology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY.

Dr. David L. Page has served as Professor of Pathology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center since 1978. He also served as Director of Anatomic Pathology from 1977 to 1999. He became Professor of Preventive Medicine (Epidemiology) in 1993. Dr. Page is known for his studies of breast cancer and premalignant disease. Since 1989 he has been chairman of the Breast Pathology Committee of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology group and serves as consultant to studies at several centers in the U.S. and Canada. He has been a member of the Epidemiology and Disease Control Study section (National Institutes of Health), Council of Arthur Purdy Stout Society of Surgical Pathologists and Association of Directors of Anatomic and Surgical Pathology, and the Anatomic Pathology Council of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. He serves on editorial boards of Human Pathology; American Journal Clinical Pathology; Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention; Breast Cancer Research and Treatment; Journal National Cancer Institute; and The Breast (Edinburgh). He is senior author of the text, Diagnostic Histopathology of the Breast, a widely used text of breast pathology and associate editor of The Breast: A Comprehensive Textbook (Bland and Copeland, Editors), which is multidisciplinary.

Dr Montgomery is a nationally renowned academic gastrointestinal pathologist. She graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr Montgomery trained in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She subsequently held several academic appointments. Dr Montgomery has published numerous articles and several book chapters. She has additional experience in bone and soft tissue pathology.

Dr Eslami-Varzaneh is board-certified in anatomic pathology. She received her medical degree from the University of Perugia in Italy. She had her residency training at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. She completed a fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology at Yale University and a fellowship in surgical pathology at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. Dr Eslami-Varzaneh joined DIANON in July 2004.

Dr Zhao is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. She received her medical degree from Southeast University Medical College (former Nanjing Railway Medical College) in Nanjing, China. She completed residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, Bronx, New York, and the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worchester, Massachusetts. She also completed her fellowship training in surgical pathology with an emphasis on genitourinary pathology in the Department of Pathology at Laboratory Medicine, MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. Prior to joining DIANON Systems, Dr Zhao served as Laboratory Director for LabCorp?s Marlton, New Jersey, and Albany, New York, laboratories.

Dr Epstein is an internationally recognized authority in uropathology. He has authored more than 300 articles, four books, and 22 book chapters in the field. Dr Epstein graduated from Boston University School of Medicine. He trained in anatomic pathology at Johns Hopkins where he was chief resident and completed a fellowship in oncologic pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Dr Basham is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He earned his medical degree at the University of Kansas, Kansas City, where he completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology. He then performed a fellowship in surgical pathology at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. Prior to joining DIANON Systems, Dr Basham was an attending pathologist at North Shore University Hospital, where he was medical director of immunohistochemistry and autopsy service. Dr Basham has extensive experience in gastrointestinal and breast pathology.

Dr Bookbinder is certified by the American Board of Pathology. He received his medical degree from the Brown University Program in Medicine, Providence, RI. Dr Bookbinder has more than 20 years of experience in anatomic and clinical pathology. He was also an associate clinical professor at Yale University School of Medicine. Prior to joining DIANON Systems, Dr Bookbinder was a laboratory director at United Hospital in Port Chester, NY.

Dr Sun is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. She received her medical degree from Henan Medical University in China. Before joining DIANON Systems, Dr Sun trained in anatomic and clinical pathology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She also received additional training under Dr Rodger C. Haggitt at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Dr Fan is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and hematopathology. She received her medical degree from Capital University of Medical Sciences, Beijing, People's Republic of China, and completed her residency training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she was chief resident. Dr Fan completed a hematopathology fellowship at the New York University School of Medicine. Before joining DIANON Systems, she was assistant professor of pathology at the New York University Medical Center. Dr Fan has authored several articles in hematology.

Dr Xu is board-certified in anatomic pathology. He received his medical degree and PhD from Tongji Medical University in the People?s Republic of China. He had his residency training at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr Xu completed two fellowships in gastrointestinal pathology at University of Southern California and at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, DC. He also completed fellowships in molecular biology and immunopathology at the University of Toronto, Canada, and at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md, respectively. Prior to joining DIANON in January 2007, Dr Xu was a staff pathologist at Pathology Associates in Dallas, Tx.

Dr Huo is board-certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and dermatopathology. He received his medical degree from Henan Medical University in China and did further study in molecular and medical genetics before completing a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology in Ohio. He studied under Dr A. Bernard Ackerman in New York and completed his dermatopathology fellowship there in June, 2000. Dr Huo joined DIANON in August of 2006.
