Dick's Sporting Goods Inc.

Edward W. Stack has served as our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since 1984 when the founder and Edward Stack’s father, Richard “Dick” Stack, retired from our then two store chain. Mr. Edward Stack has served us full time since 1977 in a variety of positions, including President, Store Manager and Merchandise Manager.

Joseph H. Schmidt became our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2008, responsible for all aspects of Store Operations, Real Estate & Development, Distribution and Transportation. Previoiusly, Mr. Schmidt was our Executive Vice President - Operations, and before that Senior Vice President - Store Operations, a position he held beginning in 2005. Mr. Schmidt was Vice President - Store Operations beginning in 2001. Mr. Schmidt joined us in 1990 and has held various positions in store operations. From 1981 to 1990, he held various positions in store operation for Ames Department Stores, Inc.

Gwendolyn K. Manto, 54, joined us in January 2006 as our Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer. Ms. Manto was employed by Sears Holdings Corporation (the nation’s third largest broadline retailer listed on the NYSE), as Executive Vice President and General Merchandise Manager, Apparel since February 2004. Prior to joining Sears, she was Vice Chairman/Chief Merchandising Officer of Stein Mart (an off-price specialty retailer listed on NASDAQ). Prior to that time she held senior management positions with Footlocker, Federated Department Stores and Macy’s.

Jeffrey R. Hennion became our Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer in 2008. Previously, Mr. Hennion was Senior Vice President - Marketing, a position he held since 2005. Beginning in 2004, he served as our Senior Vice President - Strategic Planning, and prior to that was our Vice President - Finance and Treasurer, a position he held since 2002. Mr. Hennion started with us in 2000 as Vice President-Treasurer. Prior to joining us, he served Alcoa, Inc. (Aluminum Company of America) from 1989 to 2000 in various treasury and finance related functions, most recently as Assistant Treasurer and as Director - Investor Relations.

David Stanchak became our Senior Vice President of Real Estate in 2008. Most recently, Mr. Stanchak was the President of Pinpoint Real Estate Company. He has held various corporate positions throughout his career including Director and Chief Development/Real Estate Counsel for Einstein/Noah Bagel Corporation, Senior Vice President and Real Estate Counsel for Boston Chicken, Inc., National Real Estate Director and Real Estate Counsel for Blockbuster Entertainment, and Partner with The Decker, Hardt Law Firm.

Diane E. Lazzaris, 42, became our Senior Vice President — Legal, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in 2008. Prior to joining Dick’s, Ms. Lazzaris was employed by Alcoa Inc. as Group Counsel for a group of businesses with total revenues of approximately $10 billion, 23,000 employees and operations in North America, Europe and Asia. Previously she held various legal positions up to and including Senior Counsel.

Kathy Sutter became the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Dick's Sporting Goods in 2007. She joined our organization in January 2005 as Vice President, Leadership and Organizational Development focusing on acquiring and retaining talent for the company. Most recently Mrs. Sutter was employed at Office Depot where she led talent management. Earlier, she focused on acquisition integration and organizational effectiveness for General Electric and Capital One Financial.

Lee Belitsky became our Senior Vice President - Distribution and Transportation in 2006. He joined Dick's Sporting Goods in December of 1997 as Vice President - Controller, and became our Treasurer in 2004. Prior to joining Dick's, Mr. Belitsky was the Chief Financial Officer of Domain, Inc., a Boston based home furnishings retailer. Prior to Domain, Mr. Belitsky held the positions of Vice President, Controller & Treasurer with Morse Shoe, Inc. and Audit Manager with KPMG.

Larry Stone has served as Lowe’s president and chief operating officer since 2006 and is responsible for store operations; merchandising; marketing; logistics and distribution; merchandising and store support; as well as Lowe’s Canadian operations. He began his Lowe’s career in the stores in 1969 and has served in virtually every leadership position within store operations, merchandising and store environment during his career, including senior executive vice president of operations, merchandising and marketing. Stone was appointed to the board of directors of Dick’s Sporting Goods in May 2007. He also serves on the boards of Wilkes Community College, the Wilkes Chamber of Commerce, and the board of visitors for Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Stone is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development.

William J. Colombo became our Vice Chairman in 2008. Previously, Mr. Colombo was President & Chief Operating Officer since 2001, and a member of our Board since 2002. From late in 1998 to 2001, Mr. Colombo served as President of dsports.com LLC, our internet commerce subsidiary. Mr. Colombo served as Chief Operating Officer and an Executive Vice President from 1995 to 1998. Mr. Colombo joined us in 1988. From 1977 to 1988, he held various field and corporate management positions with J.C. Penney.
