David McMahon became the Vice President of Customer Care and Carrier Services for Partner Solutions of TELUS Communications, based in Calgary, Alberta, in January 2003. Mr. McMahon has over 30 years of telecommunications experience, most recently in Toronto as Vice President, Global Carrier Sales at TELUS from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, he held various senior positions in TELUS, including Vice President, Ontario Acceleration Program from 2000 to 2001 and Vice President Operations/Carrier Relations/Engineering and Customer Care, TELUS Integrated Communications from 1999 to 2000. Christopher Scatliff is founder and Chief Executive Officer of KORE Wireless Group Inc., a Virginiabased mobile virtual network operator specializing in machine-to-machine wireless communications. From 2000 to 2001 he was Executive Vice President of Itemus Inc. From 1996 until 2000, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of UUNET Canada (now MCI Canada). Mr. Scatliff was also a member of UUNET's International Management Board from 1998 to 2000 with executive responsibility for Latin America. Mr. Scatliff served on the Canadian Government Ministerial Advisory Group for the 1998 OECD Conference in Ottawa. Previously, Mr. Scatliff was Vice President and Managing Director from 1993 to 1996 for Europe, Middle East, and Africa for Computer Sciences Corporation based in London, England. Donald P. Woodley is the President of The Fifth Line Enterprise, a privately held company providing strategic advisory services and executive coaching to the Canadian IT industry. Darren joined TELUS as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2000, bringing extensive and diverse leadership experience in global telecommunications operations.
Before joining TELUS, Darren, a 20-year veteran of the communications industry, spent seven years on the senior leadership team at Cable & Wireless in the United Kingdom, culminating with his appointment as President of the company for the United Kingdom and Ireland in 1999.

Bob has responsibility for financial and strategic functions at TELUS supporting a more than 800-person finance team that includes financial reporting and analysis, finance operations, risk management, revenue assurance, taxation, investor relations, treasury, pension investment management, ventures investment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy and regulatory and government affairs. He is also responsible for the financial policy of TELUS and its relationships with the capital market.
Bob was formerly EVP, CFO and secretary-treasurer of Clearnet Communications Inc. from its 1994 IPO until its $6.5 billion acquisition by TELUS in the fall of 2000.
During Bob's career as CFO, his Finance teams have received considerable external recognition for innovative and successful large financings, risk management and CSR practices, treasury and investor relations activities. In 2007, Bob was named Canada’s Top CFO by Canadian Business magazine. In 2008, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) presented TELUS with five awards at its annual awards gala, including the overall award of excellence for Corporate Reporting for the second year in a row. Also in 2008, the TELUS 2007 annual report ranked among the best in the world, according to a global survey of annual reports. The Annual Report on Annual Reports by e.com awarded TELUS an A+ and ranked our report third best in the world.
Bob is a director of various TELUS subsidiaries and a vice-chair of the Business Council of British Columbia and a member of its Economic Policy Committee. Bob is a director and chair of the Audit Committee of Royal & SunAlliance Insurance Company of Canada. Based in Montreal, Karen leads a regional team serving business, consumer and wireless customers in Québec and is responsible for growing market share and enhancing TELUS' position, as part of TELUS' national growth strategy.
Additionally, as executive vice president and president, TELUS Partner Solutions, Karen leads a North American team that provides wholesale and carrier services to telecommunications providers, as well as operator services for customers at work, at home and on the move.
Since joining TELUS in 1998, Karen has held a number of senior roles, including vice president, Customer Care; vice president, National Service Fulfillment; and vice president, National Service Assurance. In addition, she was a core member of the national expansion team. Karen began her telecommunications career at NBTel, where her experience included marketing, sales, information solutions and operations.
Karen received a Masters of Business Administration from Dalhousie University in 1991 and a Bachelor of Science from Mount Allison University in 1989. Consistent with TELUS' values, Karen is keenly committed to her local community and is a sought-after speaker on business issues, such as strategic leadership and growth and development.
Karen serves as a national adviser to Youth in Motion and Women in Motion. She is a member of the Alberta Children's Hospital's Board of Trustees and is president and co-founder of the Women's Leadership Foundation. She also sits on the board of directors of the Center for Telecom Management at the University of Southern California. In 2004 and 2005, the Toronto-based Women's Executive Network selected Karen as one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women.
Kevin Salvadori leads TELUS' Business Transformation & Technology Operations team, which delivers strategic and transformational projects, and communications solutions including voice, data and Internet Protocol services for TELUS customers. Kevin is responsible for TELUS' field operations, the construction and maintenance of TELUS' national wireline and wireless networks and the provisioning of national customer service solutions. He is also responsible for Information Technology systems architecture, application development and maintenance, technology operations, and physical and technology security.
Kevin joined TELUS Mobility upon its acquisition of Clearnet in 2000 and transitioned to TELUS in September 2003. At TELUS Mobility Kevin led the successful process and systems integration of TELUS Mobility and Clearnet. His team's achievements received successive, prestigious Canadian Information Productivity Award (CIPA) honours.
In May 2005 Kevin was named one of Canada's Top 40 under 40, a prestigious national award program that recognizes 40 Canadians who have reached a significant level of success and who are not yet 40 years of age.
Prior to joining Clearnet in 1995 Kevin was a senior associate with Braxton Associates, the strategy consulting division of Deloitte & Touche.
Kevin received a Bachelor of Applied Science (Systems Design Engineering) from the University of Waterloo in 1993. He serves on the board of the B.C. Technology Industries Association.

Jim Slevinsky, Director of Application Architecture at TELUS, leads a team of senior technical consultants tasked with determining the five-year technology end states for TELUS' network and application infrastructures. In his 19 years at TELUS, Jim has had active roles in the voice network special services, R&D, network standards, network architecture and application architecture groups. In addition, during a secondment to TRLabs as an industrial researcher, he was a key contributor to a team developing RingBuilderTM network design software, and he holds a patent for this work. Jim's team is currently defining the network, access, and application environment for the TELUS Future Friendly Home. A major area of focus is the specification and selection of IPTV middleware and extensibility frameworks, and in this role, Jim has been an invited speaker at several international industry forums helping to define the future of IPTV. Jim sits on the PMC-Sierra Technical Advisory Board, and serves on the TRLabs Governance Committee. Prior to TELUS, Jim worked as a hardware engineer at Nortel Networks, working as a member of scientific staff on fibre optic transmission, and advanced switching system projects. Jim has a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta, and an M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from that same institution.

Kevin was the former C.O.O. & Group Executive Vice-President, Convergence for Bell Globemedia, the largest media company in Canada. Before joining BCE, Kevin had been the President and C.O.O. of the Global Television Network. Previously, he was President and C.O.O. of Atlantis Communications Inc. for three years and prior to that, from 1988 to 1993, was President and C.E.O. of YTV Canada and GRC Productions Ltd. Earlier in his career he held senior positions with Rogers Cablesystems Inc. and Cable Satellite Network Inc. Kevin sits on many other prominent Boards in both Canada and the U.S.

Brian A. Canfield is the Chair of TELUS Corporation. His career with TELUS spans over 50 years, including four years as Chair and Chief Executive Officer of BC TELECOM Inc., three years as President and Chief Executive Officer and one year as President and Chief Operating Officer. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of TELUS Corporation on an interim basis from September 1999 to July 2000, after which he resumed his role as Chair. He is a member of the Boards of Directors of Suncor Energy Inc., a member of the Canadian Public Accountability Board and a member of the Crawford Panel on a single Canadian Securities Regulator. Brian has also served as a director of the Toronto Stock Exchange. In 1997, Brian was named an Honorary Doctor of Technology by the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and in 1998 was appointed to the Order of British Columbia and in 2006, he was made a member of the Order of Canada. Brian currently serves as a member of the TELUS Pension Committee.
