Nicolaas Vlok's entrepreneurial career began at age 14 when he started selling computer hardware. At the age of 21, while studying engineering at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, he started TST, a computer hardware and network integration company. TST thrived off Mr. Vlok's unique mix of business acumen and technical skills. His passion and knowledge for IT were the building blocks of his visionary thinking. In the next three years, before going public, the company had zero gearing, was cash flow positive and returned a profit every year.

Dave Brown is Chief Scientist for Vision Solutions. He has 30 years of experience developing and designing software applications for the midrange market and was a principle architect of the ILE/C based award-winning Vision Suite software first announced in 1996. He is a frequent speaker at domestic and international user and industry conferences and is an active volunteer Subject Matter Expert in High Availability with the COMMON midrange computing user group. Prior to joining Vision Solutions, Inc., Brown had worked as a consultant designing software solutions such as the Worldwide Manufacturing system used at Mattel Toys, Inc., as well as reservation software for a major travel agency. He has also written and implemented nutritional optimization software for feed mills using Linear Programming techniques. He initially worked for Vision as a consultant and later became Director of Research and, most recently, Chief Scientist. Born in Modesto, California, Brown received a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science from California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo and an MBA from Stanford University specializing in operations research in 1968. He has also taught courses at California Community Colleges in Modesto and Pasadena.

David Wegman is the Senior Vice President of Integrated Accounts at Vision Solutions. He was previously at Lakeview Technology where he served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Business Development. Prior to Lakeview, Mr. Wegman was COO and Senior Vice President for Magic Software Enterprises, where he was primarily responsible for building the company's global partner strategy and nurturing its strategic and channel partner relationships for its multi-platform solutions and services. His vast experience includes president and CEO positions at both Univar, a systems integrator, and The Wegman Company, a private consulting company specializing in crisis management and workouts. In the chief executive role, Mr. Wegman was responsible for every aspect of these organizations. His success has been marked by numerous achievements over the years with focus on rapid growth, partnering, channels development and strategies. Mr. Wegman received his B.S. in economics/business from UCLA and his law degree from South Western University School of Law.

Edward Vesely is an entrepreneurial marketing executive with a consistent record of growing revenue and market share through state-of-the-art communications, field marketing, product management, product marketing and telemarketing. As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Vision Solutions he leads all marketing functions and supports a complex IBM channel ecosystem. While Senior Vice President of Marketing at Click Commerce, he rebranded the e-commerce company and grew revenues from $3 to $40 million leading to an IPO. As Vice President of Marketing at CA/Platinum Technology, he co-founded three new product divisions - data warehouse, business intelligence and performance management applications - driving revenue from $10 to $200 million. While Director of Product Marketing and International Business Development at Accenture, he managed diverse vertical marketing programs and increased revenue by 300 percent to $90 million. He began his career with IBM, where he developed system and application software. Mr. Vesely serves on several advisory boards and is the author of Code to Commerce, High Technology Marketing for Maximum Brand Performance. He holds bachelor degrees in Journalism/Public Relations and Computer Science from Northern Illinois University, and an MBA in Marketing from DePaul University.

Allan is responsible for Vision Solutions' sales and channels business in Asia Pacific. A native of Australia, Mr. Campbell has over 20 years experience across the region, developing cross-culture sales leadership roles with major trans-nationals including Fujitsu and SAP. He has 13 years experience with System i, starting with branch responsibilities for SSA and has built successful Asia Pacific region channel teams from the ground up.

Carole Morris has more than 20 years of human resources experience, including significant roles in high tech software automation companies and financial services organizations. As Vice President of Human Resources at Vision Solutions, she is responsible for providing leadership and expertise to all levels of the organization and establishing Human Resource systems, practices and approaches that support Vision's mission and business goals. She has a significant responsibility for the creation of a work environment and culture that encourages all employees to perform at the highest level of their ability. Ms. Morris holds a degree in Organizational Management from the University of LaVerne.

With more than 15 years of experience in the high availably business and channel management, Mr. Khattab is a proven performer on all levels of international sales and management. Mr. Khattab is an expert on executing sales strategies that grow revenue and increase market share. Mr. Khattab served in many different roles at Lakeview Technology before Vision's acquisition of Lakeview, and he has been involved at all levels of information availability projects. Mr. Khattab's expertise in Large Accounts projects and working with multi-national organizations and Fortune 500 companies helped to grow the high availability market in general and increase awareness of the importance of the solutions. Prior to joining Vision Solutions, Mr. Khattab held a variety of technical positions working at the Chicago Board of Trade. Since Mr. Khattab was using HA technology at that time, this technical background helped him educate his customer base to understand the importance of high availability in their own businesses. He holds a Bachelor's of Information Technology from Northeastern University in Illinois with minor in business administration.

John McCallum is the Senior Technical Instructor for Vision Solutions, Inc. As a Certified Systems Engineer with the Suite, he has participated in numerous customer implementations during his 10 years with the company. His detailed working knowledge of the menu of solutions Vision offers, with both Vision Suite and ORION, affords him the ability to educate students on relevant "real-world" situations as he facilitates in the relaxed, labdriven learning environment. He has taught nearly a thousand clients and partners from over thirty countries the administration, operation, and implementation of Vision Suite and ORION.
