As a co-founder, Joe has been with DivX since the beginning. As our Brand Director, he is currently responsible brand architecture and brand strategy. Joe is also the keeper of DivX archives such as Arrogant Bastard Beer, old surfboards, and the paper napkin which holds the very first DivX business plan. Prior to that, he worked at Trilogy Software as a pre-sales engineer and consultant. Joe graduated from Texas A&M University and then went on to receive a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin. Despite his time at the University of Texas, Joe still considers himself an Aggie. He and his wife (a Texas Longhorn) are still debating which team their baby daughter likes most.
