John has lived in northeast Ohio for most of his life. He graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Business Communications and was president of the boxing team. He and wife Jacque have five sons, Joseph, Ryan, David, Samuel and Jacob. The two older boys are avid hunters, and Joseph bagged his first buck this past bow season while Ryan recently shot his first goose. Since 1989 John has been employed by Dow AgroSciences, the agricultural chemical division of Dow Chemical. John and his family live on their farm that has been in his family for more than 125 years. John has hunted many species of game for more than 25 years with a heavy concentration on waterfowl, and his love of duck and goose hunting led to the formation of HonkerBonker Guide and Outfitter Service. HonkerBonker guides hunters in Ohio and western Pennsylvania and has been featured in outdoor newspapers, on outdoor radio & television and videos and in Fish & Field Report, Ohio Valley Outdoors, Duck Tales and Wildfowl magazines. John belongs to several national and local outdoor organizations and donates several hunts to these fundraising events each season. He strongly believes in supporting the hunting tradition and exposing youth to the great outdoors. He took out a Ducks Unlimited Life Sponsorship in the name of "The Five Beckwith Boys" to honor his sons. John and his partner, fellow Avery Pro-Staffer DeWayne Knight, bring many years of experience to the Avery team and can be found working events in northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

Joe Alberts is a Senior Litigation Counsel at Dow AgroSciences LLC in Indianapolis, where he handles national and international litigation. Joe graduated magna cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law and cum laude from Hanover College. Joe was Articles Editor of Volume 27 of the Indiana Law Review. He served as law clerk for Hon. John D. Tinder, Hon. Patrick D. Sullivan and as a litigation attorney with Wooden & McLaughlin. Joe has published numerous articles and has presented over thirty seminars. As a member of DTCI, Joe has served as the Chair of the Product Liability Section (1999-2001), a member of the Long-Range Planning Committee (2001-02) and currently serves as Chair of the In-House Counsel Section. He is the recipient of the 2002 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. Joe is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association; Corporate Counsel Section chair, 2002, the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the National Registry of Who's Who. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Indiana Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the all Indiana U.S. district courts.

Robyn is not from the Hoosier state. She is a native of South Dakota where she was born and raised on a typical Midwest farm. Her education and experience in food and agriculture served her well for her current position as the global public affairs leader at Dow AgroSciences LLC, a global crop protection and biotech company located on the Northwestside of Indianapolis. She graduated with a B.S. in agricultural journalist (never knew this was a major, right?). She has worked in the food and agribusiness area - companies, public relations agencies, and non-profits - in South Dakota, Missouri and Indiana since she graduated from South Dakota State University in 1992. She has been with Dow AgroSciences since 2001. Since joining the Indy Hub board, she has promoted the organization's events and opportunities to young professionals working at Dow AgroSciences who are moving into Indianapolis. Robyn is a mom to 6 - year old daughter Molly. Robyn and Molly enjoy participating in the many 'kid-friendly' activities around the city.

Phil Cook assumed his current position as Senior Advisor in June 2006 and became a member of the Office of the Chief Executive (OCE) in September 2004. Cook joined Dow in 1970 as a Research Engineer in the Urethanes Development Laboratory in Freeport. In 1979, he moved to Epoxy Resins Technical Service & Development (TS&D), becoming Group Leader later that year. He transferred to Midland in 1983 as Market Development Manager for Epoxy Resins and became Group Marketing Manager for Structural and Design Resins in 1985. In 1987, Cook was named Business Operations Manager for Epoxy Resins and Intermediates in the Corporate Product Department and was named Commercial Vice President for Dow-United Technologies Composite Products, Inc. in 1989. He was named Global Business Manager for Epoxy Products in 1993. In 1995 Phil was named Vice President, Business Development for Greater China. He was named Vice President and Global Business Director for ethylene dichloride, vinyl chloride monomer, chlorine, caustic soda and HCL in 1998. Cook was named Global Business Vice President for Epoxy Products & Intermediates in 2000. He was named Senior Vice President, Performance Chemicals and Thermosets in 2003. In September 2005, Phil was named Corporate Vice President of Strategic Development and New Ventures. Cook is a member of the Board of Directors of Methanex Corporation, the Board of Managers of Univation Technologies, and the Members Committee of Dow Agrosciences. He is a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committees of the National Paint and Coatings Association. He is a member of the Visiting Committee of the Department of Chemical Engineering and member of the College of Engineering Foundation Advisory Council of The University of Texas at Austin. Cook is the Office of Chief Executive's representative to Dow's Diversity & Inclusion steering team and is the corporate sponsor for the GLAD Employee Network (Gays, Lesbians, and Allies at Dow). Locally, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Midland Country Club. Cook holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
