Dow Jones Description
Downey Savings is a federally chartered financial institution that gives you small town attention with big city clout. In 1957 we opened our first office in the city of Downey, California. Today we offer everything from checking accounts to home loans and most everything in between. People tell us that they like the way we treat them, and we believe that it's the special attention we provide to our customers that accounts for our growth to over $13.5 billion in assets. The management of Downey Savings has kept up with the unbelievable technological advances in our industry, but lots of things haven't changed at all. We still talk to you personally and we still have offices for you to visit. We understand that people still want to see and talk to their bankers.
