Diane Fulton is the Executive Director, Investments of the University of British Columbia Faculty Pension Plan and manages the investment of the $1.2 billion pool of pension assets. Diane attended the University of Toronto and earned an honours Bachelor of Science degree majoring in mathematics. She received a Masters of Business Administration degree from York University, with a finance major. Diane spent the majority of her career in investment banking and was Vice President and Director, Corporate Finance at Scotia McLeod Inc. Her responsibilities encompassed a full range of investment banking activities including preparation of prospectuses, company valuations, fairness opinions, financing proposals and financial testimony for regulatory hearings. She was also retained by Westcoast Energy and Belkorp Industries to complete various corporate finance projects. Prior to her appointment to the ICBC Board, Diane acted as an ex-officio member of the ICBC Investment Committee for two years. She is currently on the Board of Directors, Audit Committee and Human Resources Committee of Pacific Northern Gas Ltd. Dr. Steven Jones is head of Bioinformatics at BCCA's Genome Sciences Centre, which uses expression profiling techniques to understand changes in early stage cancers. Previously, Steven Jones was a researcher at the Sanger Institute, Cambridge, UK., responsible for the computational analysis of the Caenorhabditis elegans sequence resulting in the derivation of the first complete genome of a multi-cellular organism. Another contribution was his invention of the web-based blast server, which is now the most common interface through which DNA and protein sequence searches are now performed. He is a founding director of the CIHR/MSFHR Bioinformatics Training Program, a core faculty member of the Canadian Bioinformatics Workshop and Associate Director of the University of British Columbia Bioinformatics Centre.

Dr. Salvian completed his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario in 1975, and his fellowship in clinical vascular surgery at the University of Manitoba . This was then followed by a vascular research fellowship at the University of California (UCLA) completed in 1981. Dr. Salvian has written and published twenty-nine refereed papers and is an active participant of continuing medical education in vascular surgery. In addition, he is very active in fundraising and public service activities. Dr Godwin, a founding director of International Geosystems Ltd., became involved in the development of the GEOLOG System, one of the first computer based schemes for capturing and using data from exploration- development work, especially drill holes. With more than 40 years of exploration related experience he recently has conducted: (i) exploration programs in Mexico, Argentina, Yukon, Nevada, Nicaragua, Honduras and Costa Rica, (ii) drilling projects in Nevada and Mexico, and (iii) property examinations in Argentina, Mexico, Northwest Territories, Nevada, Costa Rica, Ecuador and India. Craig is the head coach of the University of British Columbia's women's varsity rowing team and is the co-head coach at the Thunderbird Rowing Centre. He is also currently the men's coach of the BC provincial team. Craig began his rowing career in Ontario where he was very successful as both a junior and a lightweight competitor at high school , provincial, university, and national level. He then moved to BC where he competed on the UBC varsity team as well as the provincial team. Craig has had more than fifteen years of competitive rowing experience and nine years of coaching experience. Recently Craig has acted as head jr. men's coach at the Gorge Rowing Centre and was also involved with the 1999 jr. national team selection. He is currently pursuing his level 4 coaching certificate.

Dr. McIntosh graduated with distinction from Dalhousie University in Halifax, where she completed an undergraduate degree in pharmacy before completing her medical residency in both pediatrics and psychiatry. She is a clinical assistant professor at the University of British Columbia and since 2004 has been a consulting psychiatrist for the Mood Disorders Clinic at UBC as well as the Post-traumatic Stress Disorder clinic of Vancouver General Hospital. As a researcher, Dr. McIntosh has been a principle or sub-investigator in several studies & trials and she is currently the principal investigator in an industry-sponsored study for a new scale used for diagnosing depression. She is also the author of several publications and is active in presenting and teaching to patients, students and physicians, on a local and national level. Her clinical focus is complex anxiety disorders, particularly Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, with an interest in neurobiology and psychopharmacology.

Dr. Frank H. Anderson established the Canadian Society of Intestinal Research in 1976. He is a graduate of the University Of British Columbia School Of Medicine, and completed a rotating internship and residency training in both Medicine and Pathology at Vancouver General Hospital. Throughout his career he has held a number of prominent positions within the UBC faculty of medicine as well as serving as the Head of the Division of Gastroenterology for 15 years. He was instrumental in establishing the Chemical Dependency Resource Team at Vancouver General Hospital, as well as the Provincial Home Enteral and Parenteral Feeding Program. Dr. Anderson is now associate Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia. He has both a clinical and research practice specializing in the areas of inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease. Dr. James Kutney is Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at the University of British Columbia. Meena Sran is a clinician-scientist from Vancouver, Canada. Pasha is Head Coach and Co-Founder of DRIVE Basketball. He is a Graduate Student at the University of British Columbia where he recently completed his University basketball career. As a member of UBC, Pasha helped Captain the Thunderbirds to their first perfect Regular Season (20-0) and the Pacific Divison title. In his one season at UBC, Pasha was the Canada West Scoring Champion (22.1 ppg, 2nd CIS) & 4th Leading Asst (5.26 apg). Prior to UBC, Pasha played for Simon Fraser University for two seasons. At SFU, Pasha was a two-time CIS Scoring Champion (22.9 ppg, 25.5 ppg) and was named the 2004 CIS Player of the Year for the 2003-2004 season. He holds SFU's career scoring record at 24.5 ppg. Pasha played for NCAA Division I Clemson University where he was a two-year letterman and was awarded the prestigious Arthur Ashe Award for excellence in athletics and academics. In high school, Pasha led the Richmond Colts to the 1998 Provincial Championship. He was named MVP of the 1998 AAA Championships, and still holds the all-time AAA Career Scoring Record. In 1998 he was named the Candian High School Player of the Year as well as Sport B.C.'s High School Athlete of the Year. Pasha has spent five summers playing for the Canadian National program, most recently in 2005 where he represented Canada at the World University Games in Izmir, Turkey. Pasha recently completed a Master's degree in Sports Psychology/Coaching Science at UBC. His research includes how to effectively instruct and motivate youth involved in sport. He also acts as a teaching assistant for the undergraduate HKIN department at UBC. He began DRIVE Camps in the summer of 2002 and has experience running camps at Clemson University and Simon Fraser University. He was also the head coach at UBC's elite summer camp in 2004. Pasha is an active coach with the prestigious Five-Star Basketball Camp in Pittsburgh. In addition, Pasha has also worked as motion-capture talent on EA Sports NBA Live 2004, 2005, and March Madness 2004, 2005. In addition, Pasha was recently named one of the "Top 10 Richmondites" in the Richmond News 25th Anniversary edition. In 2006, Pasha was awarded the Richmond Review Don Fenell Award of Distinction for his contribution to the community and athletics. Pasha is born and raised in Richmond, B.C. Peter Levesque is the Knowledge Exchange Specialist for the Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health based at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Randy Zien is President of Wesbild Holdings Ltd. and Inwest Investments Ltd., active in development of large residential communities and commercial real estate. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Law Degree from UBC. Prior to running Inwest Mr. Zien was a Partner at Borden Ladner Gervais (formerly Ladner Downs), specializing in corporate tax and finance. Richard S. Rosenberg is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Computer Science, at the University of British Columbia. Susan P. Arnold joined Heenan Blaikie in 1991 and became a partner in 1992. Prior to this, she worked at Jordan & Gall and also Blake, Cassels & Graydon, respectively. Ms. Arnold is an expert in administrative, labour and employment law. She acts for public and private sector employers under provincial and federal jurisdiction. She has considerable experience before the Canada Industrial Relations Board, the British Columbia Labour Relations Board, the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal and arbitration boards on labour and employment matters. Ms. Arnold sat on the Committee of Special Advisors to the Government of British Columbia for the Review of the Employment Standards Act. She is a former adjunct professor in the Faculty of Law, University of British Columbia, where she taught labour, employment and human rights.

Dr John Innes is the FRBC Chair of Forest Management at the University of British Columbia. He also holds the posts of Director of the Centre for Applied Conservation Research and Director of International Programs in the Faculty of Forestry. He has a strong interest in forest extension and the continuing education of practicing foresters. His research concentrates on various aspects of sustainable forest management, with a strong emphasis on the trade-offs involved in balancing the environmental, economic and social aspects of forest management. Dr. Scott McKinley, chair of the POST Scientific Advisory Committee, is a Professor and Canada Research Chair in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at The University of British Columbia. Dr. McKinley is also a senior Canada Research Chair in Aquaculture and the Environment. Dr. McKinley has held numerous international appointments, including Scientific Advisor for the Norwegian Institute for Nature Management, NSERC Industrial Research Chair - Biotelemetry, and Chair of the Board of Technical Experts (BOTE) of the Great Lakes Fishery Commission. Dr. McKinley's research focuses on the response of free swimming fish to changing environmental conditions using physiological telemetry. He has been widely consulted by many national and international organizations, including the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and numerous European Nations. He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Physiology from the University of Waterloo.

Mr. Nystrom and his family recently moved to Penticton after living in Vancouver for more than 30 years. Mr. Nystrom and his wife Margareta have nine children, three of whom attend Glenfir. He brings a diverse portfolio of experience to the Board of Directors having graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Degree in Chemical Engineering (BASc) and from his business interests in pulp and paper mills in Canada and the U.S., the coffee business in Europe, and a medical clinic in Vancouver. Mr. Nystrom has been on numerous public and private company boards and is presently a member of five company boards. He looks forward to helping The Glenfir School becoming an even better school and seeing three of his children graduate from Glenfir.

Tom Tevlin, President of ConsensusWorks Consultants Inc., has worked with leading global industry, government, and environmental/social agencies to establish environmental reputation management campaigns related to forestry, aquaculture, biotechnology and polymers, and has participated in every stage of campaign planning and execution from research to implementation to evaluation. Tevlin has led several delegations to UN sessions in New York, Geneva, the Hague, Denpasar and Johannesburg in order to influence the UN Commission on Sustainable Development regarding its proposed instrument on forests; played key roles in industry and market adoption in North America of a range of certification schemes including CSA, FSC, SFI and ISO systems; made representations to Olympic Bid committees and related groups, appeared before numerous US municipal councils and met with dozens of Fortune 500s and other organizations on sustainable procurement. A journalist by training, Tevlin served as a founding team-member of the Forest Alliance, where he held various positions over the life of the organization, including Executive Director, President and most recently Chief Executive. He is a member of the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Forestry Advisory Council, a number of working committees of Forest Products Association of Canada and the North America-wide Wood Promotion Network, PricewaterhouseCoopers ISO External Oversight Committee, and past member of the BC Provincial Minister's Advisory Council on Certification and the Canadian Council of Forest Ministers' Criteria & Indicators Technical Working Group. Tevlin has led the industry-supported Forest Alliance in a successful bid to become the first association of its type in the world to gain membership in the Mexico-based Forest Stewardship Council. He has designed and executed media relations campaigns in Europe, Brazil, the U.S. as well as within Canada regarding British Columbia's sustainable forest management and environmental reputation.
