HOWARD SCHULTZ, 54, is the founder of the Company and serves as our chairman, president and chief executive officer. Mr. Schultz has served as chairman of the board since our inception in 1985 and in January 2008, he resumed his role as president and chief executive officer. From June 2000 to February 2005 he served as chairman of the Board and chief executive officer. From November 1985 to June 1994, Mr. Schultz also served as president. From January 1986 to July 1987, Mr. Schultz was the chairman of the board, chief executive officer and president of Il Giornale Coffee Company, a predecessor to the Company. From September 1982 to December 1985, Mr. Schultz was the director of retail operations and marketing for Starbucks Coffee Company, a predecessor to the Company. Mr. Schultz also serves on the board of directors of DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc.

Martin P. Coles, a director since February 2009, is currently president of Starbucks Coffee International. He reassumed this role in July 2008, after having served as chief operating officer from September 2007 to July 2008. Prior to joining Starbucks, Coles served as president and CEO of the Reebok Brand International Ltd., a sports and fitness products company, from December 2001 to February 2004. Prior to joining Reebok International, Ltd., Coles held several executive level management sales and operations positions with NIKE, Inc.; Letsbuyit.com; Gateway, Inc; and Procter & Gamble.

Ayn Fox is a strategic partner of Conscious Millionaire Institute, LLC, who has worked with executives at Fortune 500 Companies such as HBO, Starbucks and General Electrics. Ayn Fox is an expert in creativity as well as whole-mind approaches to business and life fulfillment. She Coaches and designs Custom Workshops and Retreats which she leads worldwide.

Originally from Bonney Lake, Washington, Beckie is a newcomer to the wonderful Midwest. She graduated from Sumner High School in 2004, and jumped right into her first year serving with Youth Encounter on Captive Free South Central 2004-2005, followed by a year with Captive Free West Lakes 2005-2006. Now here in the Twin Cities, Beckie loves working with an organization that has such a passion for the ministry and a true love for people right where they are. Each day is a gift, and she plans to use each and every one of them to God's glory! In her spare time, she likes to go to the gym, see movies with friends, and enjoy a nice cup of Starbucks coffee while investing time in people that mean the most to her.

Andrea Setian joined Madison HGCD in February 2003. Ms. Setian was previously a Vice President in the New York Transactions Group of Jones Lang LaSalle where she specialized in landlord representation of both office and retail space. She brings experience in strategic consulting, financial analysis and marketing and has represented landlords in transactions with Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, T-Mobile and many other local and regional retailers. She has also worked with retailers in identifying sites, evaluating demographics and negotiating business terms for new sites in Manhattan. Ms. Setian was previously a Regional Manager responsible for overseeing Jones Lang LaSalle's Downtown portfolio of 6 million square feet of mixed use properties. Prior to that, Ms. Setian was responsible for leasing and managing a 500,000 square foot trophy office/retail building in the Plaza District of Manhattan. Ms. Setian's experience prior to real estate includes banking/finance positions at Barclays Bank PLC and JP Morgan Chase. Ms. Setian is a licensed real estate broker in New York. She is an active member of the Stores Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York and is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Andrea holds a BA in Economics from Smith College, and a MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Dartmouth College.

It is the kind voice of Cheryl Phillips that you will hear when you call our office. A former radio disc jockey and a Salinas Native, Cheryl is responsible for a range of tasks including scheduling the project managers, vendor relations and for providing outstanding customer service. When not answering phones and helping clients with their problems Cheryl enjoys Star Wars, Starbucks and the San Jose Sharks..

He is Don, the pastor. He comes from Tallahassee. From time to time he likes to play trumpet. He has a wife and two daughters. They don't play trumpet. He has been pastor of Parkway Baptist Church since 1998. He speaks at both of our worship gatherings, Sunday mornings and The Well. He is a big fan of Starbucks, in fact he often has staff meeting at Starbucks. He keeps a blog of thoughts and insights that you may access.

Among Jack's many important roles is managing Bentley's out-parcel development at Pittsburgh Mills, sites that will feature such tenants as Starbucks and Aspen Dental. It promises to be one of the most exciting projects in the region in many years. Jack is well-suited for the task, as he has more than 10 years' experience in commercial construction.

Jessica comes to CCI with extensive experience in customer service with companies such as Sprint, Verizon Wireless, and Starbucks. This background, combined with her upbeat and positive personality, make her the ideal person to provide callers with the information they need or direct them to the appropriate resource at CCI.

At his best when holding a cup of "red eye" from Starbucks, Jim directs Blue Ridge Numerics' global marketing efforts. His duties include the strategic and tactical support of both direct and reseller sales channels, the development of strategic partnerships and new business initiatives, and elevating global awareness of CFdesign. Prior to joining Blue Ridge Numerics, Jim helped a number of emerging and start-up technology companies develop and implement effective marketing plans. Introduced to the wonderful world of CAE in 1993, Jim joined Advanced CAE Technology, Inc. as its marketing manager. During his seven-year tenure with the company, Jim's duties steadily increased to include leadership of channel marketing, product marketing and global marketing communications. A graduate of Western Kentucky University, Jim's personal passions include his family, his faith, modern art, Bluegrass music, drinking espresso, and watching American football.

Rabbi Joshua Ginsberg began his Jewish journey at Loyola University of Chicago Hillel. After earning a B.A. in History, his spiritual path took him to Los Angeles, where he began his rabbinic studies at the University of Judaism. However, he was destined to become a rabbi on the other coast, at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City, from which he graduated in 2004. It was at JTS that he met his bershert, Jenna Greenberg, then a student in the Cantorial School. Jenna's lovely voice led them to Washington DC two years ago. Josh comes to GW Hillel after serving a small synagogue in Bowie, MD. His Jewish and cultural tastes are varied and eclectic. He is a Seinfeld and Simpson's aficionado, who also enjoys the bright lights of Broadway and the beautiful harmonies of Jewish Choral music. He also finds something to connect to deeply in all the streams and varied approaches that make up contemporary Jewish life. He looks forward to getting to know students, parents, and faculty. If you can't find him at Hillel he is probably at Starbucks or any place where a good cup of coffee can be found.

An avid lover of music, Ling plans on majoring in Recorded Music at NYU and will hopefully go on to become a successful record producer. Her hobbies include singing, playing piano and guitar, and doodling. She spends an unusual amount of time at Starbucks, where she camps and studies.

Ray and Nancy have been married since October 29, 1977 and have three children, Russell, Ryan & Natalie. Ray?s career-long vision is to help unchurched people live life to it?s fullest through full devotion to Jesus Christ. He has been deeply involved in church and Christian education for over 40 years and is the founder of DBCC. Ray is responsible for the general leadership, vision and teaching of the church. He also enjoys weight training, hiking, vacationing in San Diego, reading great books and hanging out at Starbucks with friends.

BARBARA BASS, 58, has been a Starbucks director since January 1996. Since 1993, Ms. Bass has been the president of the Gerson Bakar Foundation. From 1989 to 1992, Ms. Bass was president and chief executive officer of the Emporium Weinstock Division of Carter Hawley Hale Stores, Inc. She also serves on the board of directors of DFS Group Limited, a retailer of luxury branded merchandise, and bebe stores, inc., a retailer of contemporary sportswear and accessories.

CRAIG E. WEATHERUP, 63, has been a Starbucks director since February 1999. Mr. Weatherup worked with PepsiCo, Inc. for 24 years and served as chief executive officer of its worldwide Pepsi-Cola business and President of PepsiCo, Inc. He also led the initial public offering of The Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc., where he served as chairman and chief executive officer from March 1999 to January 2003. Mr. Weatherup also serves on the board of directors of Macy’s, Inc.

JAVIER G. TERUEL, 58, has been a Starbucks director since September 2005. Mr. Teruel served as vice chairman of Colgate-Palmolive Company, a consumer products company, from July 2004 to April 2007, when he retired. Prior to being appointed vice chairman, Mr. Teruel served as Colgate- Palmolive’s executive vice president responsible for Asia, Central Europe, Africa and Hill’s Pet Nutrition. After joining Colgate in Mexico in 1971, Mr. Teruel served as vice president of Body Care in Global Business Development in New York, and president and general manager of Colgate-Mexico. He also served as president of Colgate-Europe, and as chief growth officer responsible for the company’s growth functions. Mr. Teruel currently serves as a partner of Spectron Desarrollo, SC, an investment management and consulting firm. He also serves on the boards of directors of The Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc., Corporacion Geo S.A.B. de C.V. and J.C. Penney Company, Inc.

Director since 2005 Ms. Hobson serves as the President of Ariel Investments (Chicago-based investment management firm and advisor to the Ariel Investment Trust) since 2000, and as President and Director of its governing member, Ariel Capital Management Holdings, Inc. She also serves as President (since 2002) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees (Chairman since 2006, trustee since 1993) of the Ariel Investment Trust (registered investment company). Ms. Hobson serves as a director of Dreamworks Animation SKG, Inc. and Starbucks Corporation. She also works with a variety of civil and professional institutions, including serving as a director of the Chicago Public Library as well as its foundation, and as a board member of the Field Museum, the Chicago Public Education Fund and the Sundance Institution. Ms. Hobson is a member of the Audit Committee.

MYRON E. (MIKE) ULLMAN, III is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of J. C. Penney Company, Inc. Before joining JCPenney, Mike served as directeur general, group managing director of LVMH Möet Hennessy Louis Vuitton from 1999 to 2002. He previously served as group chairman and chief executive officer of DFS Group Limited (1995-1999) and as chairman and chief executive officer of R.H. Macy & Co., Inc. (1992-1995). Mike serves on the board of Starbucks Coffee Company, and is vice chairman of the National Retail Federation and Chairman of the Board for Mercy Ships International, a global medical and human services charity.

Senator William W. Bradley, age 64, joined the Board on September 18, 2002. He is a Managing Director of Allen & Company LLC. From 2001-2004 he acted as chief outside advisor to McKinsey & Company’s non-profit practice. Senator Bradley is also currently a director of Starbucks Corp. and Seagate Technology. He was a Senior Advisor and Vice Chairman of the International Council of JP Morgan & Co., Inc. from 1997-1999. During that time, he also worked as an essayist for CBS evening news, a visiting professor at Stanford University, Notre Dame University and the University of Maryland. Senator Bradley served in the U.S. Senate from 1979-1997 representing the state of New Jersey. In 2000, he was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Prior to serving in the Senate, he was an Olympic gold medalist in 1964 and a professional basketball player with the New York Knicks from 1967-1977 during which time they won two NBA championships. Senator Bradley holds a BA degree in American History from Princeton University and an MA degree from Oxford University where he was a Rhodes Scholar. He has authored six books on American politics, culture and economy. Currently, Senator Bradley hosts American Voices, a weekly show on Sirius Satellite Radio that highlights the remarkable accomplishments of Americans both famous and unknown.
