Joseph K. Wilsted comes to Lydall with over 25 years of manufacturing and finance experience. He has a strong background in lean manufacturing and technology-driven solutions as well as extensive global experience having established and managed manufacturing operations in Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Lydall, he was Senior Vice President Finance and Administration at FormTech Industries LLC, a provider of metal components to the automotive light vehicle, heavy truck and industrial markets. Before that, he had served as Senior Vice President and CFO and Senior Vice President of Operations and Corporate Development of The Greenbrier Companies, Inc., a leading supplier of transportation equipment and services to the railroad industry. Previous to joining Greenbrier, Wilsted was with the Bobcat Company (Ingersoll Rand Corporation) as Vice President of Finance and CFO. During his career, Wilsted worked for several years at Invensys Plc in financial roles then transitioning to general management and later to President of Invensys Rexnord Chain & Conveyor Group, a $300 million manufacturer. Wilsted holds an MBA degree from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana and a BSBA degree from Indiana University.

Kevin T. Longe is President, Lydall Filtration/Separation, Inc. Mr. Longe has been with Lydall in this position since October of 2004. Previously, Mr. Longe served as President of SightPoint LLC, a business strategy and advisory firm from September 2002. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Longe had been Senior Vice President and Corporate Officer of Electro Scientific Industries, a publicly traded supplier of semiconductor capital equipment. From 1992 to 2000 he held a series of global leadership roles with Evapco, Inc., including Senior Vice President – Asia Pacific, Vice President – Industrial Products Group and was appointed to the company’s Board of Directors in 1997. Evapco, Inc. is a global supplier of commercial and industrial cooling systems with 12 operating businesses in Europe, North America and Asia. From 1984 to 1992 Mr. Longe had been President and Chief Operating Officer of Imeco, Inc., a leading North American supplier of engineered process systems that was sold to York International. He began his career in 1981 with Dow Chemical. Mr. Longe serves on the board of Trianon Companies; a Naples, FL based commercial real estate and hotel operating company. He is also a Trustee of Pomfret School in Pomfret, CT., a private college preparatory school. He received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University (1991) and a B.A. in business from The University of Michigan (1981).

Peter Ferris is President, Charter Medical, Ltd. Mr. Ferris comes to Lydall with over 20 years of business experience. Most recently he was Vice President of Strategic Marketing for Tyco International, Ltd. While at Tyco, he held senior positions in Global Marketing at Tyco’s undersea fiber optics business as well as leadership positions in Corporate Marketing at Tyco International’s corporate office in New York. Prior to joining Tyco, Mr. Ferris spent nine years with the Dexter Corporation, a specialty materials company, based in Connecticut. At Dexter he started in the CEO’s management development program, which led to a series of progressive management positions in Marketing and Research and Development at Dexter’s Food Packaging, Automotive and Magnetic Materials businesses. His last position with Dexter was Vice President/General Manager of the Polymer Systems business. Shortly after graduation from college, Mr. Ferris founded a premium, perishable manufacturing and distribution business, which he successfully ran for nine years. He holds a B.S. degree in Economics and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University.

Thomas P. Smith is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lydall, Inc. Before joining Lydall, he was assistant controller of Carrier Corporation. Prior to Carrier, which he joined in 1991, Mr. Smith spent 10 years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, advancing to the position of audit senior manager. Mr. Smith, a Certified Public Accountant, received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Mary Tremblay, vice president and general counsel, has been with Lydall since 1991. She was formerly associated with the Connecticut law firm of Murtha Cullina, Richter and Pinney in its Litigation Department, specializing in environmental matters. Ms. Tremblay holds a juris doctorate degree from New York University School of Law and a bachelor of arts degree from Fairfield University.

Ms. Estey joined Lydall in 1977 and became manager of employee benefits and human resources in 1986. She was promoted to director of human resources in 1997 and became vice president - human resources in April, 2000.

Peter Kurto has nearly 20 years of business development experience and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Before joining Lydall, he was Global Marketing Director for Imerys – Filtration Division, a $450 million business, where he led marketing, new product development and product sourcing. His experience spans domestic and international markets including Europe, Asia, and India. Prior to Imerys, he was with General Electric Co. where he led its Plastics Intermediates Business having been promoted to that position after serving in a number of business development and strategic planning management roles. Peter Kurto holds a B.A. degree in economics from Brown University and a MBA degree in Management Strategy, Finance, and Marketing from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business.

Ms. Burdett was the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the former Dexter Corporation until its merger with Invitrogen Corporation in 2000, after which she served as a consultant to Invitrogen through 2002. Ms. Burdett was a member of the Board of Directors of Life Technologies, Inc. from 1995 through 2000 where she chaired the Audit Committee and served as a member of the Executive and Compensation Committees. Ms. Burdett was appointed to the Lydall Board of Directors in June 2003. Ms. Burdett serves as Chair of the Audit Review Committee.

Mr. Giles is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Gerber Scientific, Inc., a manufacturer that provides software, computerized manufacturing systems, supplies and services to a wide variety of industries. He has held that position since November 2001. He joined Gerber Scientific, Inc. as Senior Vice President and President of its subsidiary Gerber Technology, Inc. in November 2000. Prior to joining Gerber Scientific, he served in several senior positions in strategy development, mergers and acquisitions and sales and marketing management over the course of twelve years with FMC Corp., a manufacturer of machinery and chemicals. Mr. Giles had been with Norton Co. serving in various sales, marketing and business development roles before joining FMC Corp. Mr. Giles is a Director of the Company for the first time.

"Matthew T. Farrell, 50, is the Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Church & Dwight Co., Inc., which manufactures and markets a wide range of personal care, household and specialty products, under the ARM & HAMMER® brand name and other well-known trademarks. Mr. Farrell began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick LLP. He was named an audit partner in 1989. He joined AlliedSignal in 1994 as Director, Corporate Audit, and in 1996, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Specialty Chemicals business. In 2000, Mr. Farrell joined Ingersoll-Rand as Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications and was a member of Ingersoll-Rand’s enterprise leadership team. In 2002, he joined Alpharma Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed to the Lydall Board of Directors in August 2003. Mr. Farrell serves as a member of the Audit Review and the Compensation Committees. "

S. Carl Soderstrom, Jr., 54, has served as a director since April 2005 and is the chairman of our audit committee. Mr. Soderstrom was employed by ArvinMeritor, Inc. and its predecessor companies from 1986 to 2004 and served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ArvinMeritor, Inc. from July 2001 to December 2004. Mr. Soderstrom is a member of the board of directors of Lydall, Inc. and serves as a member of the audit committee and chairman of the corporate governance committee of Lydall, Inc.

Ms. Hammett, 51, is the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Credit Risk Officer of Capital One Financial Corporation, a financial holding company, a position she assumed February 9, 2007. Prior to joining Capital One, Ms. Hammett was the Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer for the Radian Group Inc., a credit enhancement company headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a position she began in July 2005. She is also a former Executive Vice President of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. During her 26-year career with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., she held numerous positions within the investment bank including Head of Credit Risk Portfolio. She was Head of Credit Risk Policy for that firm until early 2004. Ms. Hammett became a Lydall Director in 2000. She serves as a member of the Audit Review and the Compensation Committees.

W. Leslie Duffy is the Chairman of the Board of Lydall, Inc. and a partner in the law firm of Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP. He has been with that law firm since 1965. He has been a Lydall Director since 1992. Mr. Duffy served as Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee and as a member of the Compensation and Stock Option Committee until his appointment as Chair of the Board on August 18, 2004. He now serves as a member of the Corporate Governance Committee.

Mr. Gurley is the retired President and Chief Executive Officer of Stanadyne Corporation, an engine components and fuel systems manufacturer, a position he assumed in 1995. During his 21-year career with Stanadyne, he held numerous management positions within that Corporation including Executive Vice President of Marketing, Engineering and Operations. Mr. Gurley was elected as a Director of Stanadyne Corporation in 1989. Mr. Gurley retired from Stanadyne in 2006. Prior to joining Stanadyne, Mr. Gurley was with Garrett Corporation’s Automotive Products Division (now owned by Honeywell) and the Packard Electric Division of General Motors Corporation (now a division of Delphi). Mr. Gurley was appointed Director-Elect to the Lydall Board of Directors on October 20, 2005. He is also a member of the New England Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Mr. Gurley became a Lydall Director in 2006. He serves as a member of the Corporate Governance and Compensation and Stock Option Committees.
