While a student at Harvard, Ken Griffin developed his first convertible bond arbitrage model and traded from his dorm room. In 1990, one year after graduation, Mr. Griffin launched Citadel as a single strategy fund. Today, Citadel and its affiliates deploy capital across multiple investment strategies. The Citadel group of companies operate in the world's major financial centers, including Chicago, New York City, London, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Bermuda.
