Tony Richmond is a partner in the firm's Silicon Valley office. He has significant experience in finance and securities matters involving public and private companies, as well as in mergers and acquisitions, tender offers and leveraged recapitalizations. Recent merger transactions include the acquisition of control of IMP, Inc. by TeamAsia Semiconductor of India, the sale of PictureWorks Technology to Internet Pictures Corporation and the acquisition of Metro-Optix, Inc. from Ericsson, Inc. Recent public offerings include initial public offerings by Sify Limited, Satyam Computer Services, Vicinity Corporation and Infosys Technologies Limited. Mr. Richmond also regularly represents institutional equity investors in a variety of assignments, and acts as outside general counsel for several public companies. Private equity representations include venture capital, advanced stage and buy-out and recapitalization financings sponsored by firms such as JPMorgan, Norwest Equity Partners and Broadview Capital. Mr. Richmond received a B.S. degree in finance and accounting from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley in 1982, where he received the Departmental Citation as the top academic graduate in a class of approximately 240. He was employed for three years by a Big-4 public accounting firm as a senior accountant, with experience in audit and federal and state taxation. In 1988, Mr. Richmond received his J.D. from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, graduating in the top five percent of his class. He joined Latham & Watkins as an associate in November of 1988. Mr. Richmond is admitted to practice in California, where he is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.

The company has offices in Silicon Valley, Austin (Texas) and Hyderabad (India). Mr. Vegesna's investment company, Infinity Capital Ventures, LP, invested roughly $100 Million to acquire approximately 40% of the shares of Sify Limited, India's premier Internet, network and eCommerce Services Company in the last quarter of 2005. Initially named Chairman of the Board, Mr. Vegesna was named Managing Director and CEO of Sify in July 2006. Mr. Vegesna intends to help Sify grow to become a truly global company and a leading corporate player in the 21st century high technology world. He is particularly excited that this opportunity renews and reinvigorates his close ties with India. Encouraged by his father, Mr. Vegesna's contact with the world of high technology began in India with an engineering degree at Bangalore University. After graduation, Mr. Vegesna moved to the United States for further education, and to seek new opportunities. While earning his master's degree in computer engineering at Wayne State University, Mr. Vegesna took a course on the Motorola 68000. Inspired, he decided to create a software simulation of the 68000 for his thesis and called a senior Motorola engineering manager for help. After showing his work to the Motorola manager, he received and accepted a job offer to write the microcode for the 68030 and the specifications for the 68040. Mr. Vegesna's mentor at Motorola, Roger Ross, known for his ability to spot talent, invited Mr. Vegesna to be chief architect for Ross Technology Inc., a startup company that developed 32-bit Sparc processors. At Ross Technology, Mr. Vegesna was integral to the development of the first-generation HyperSparc, which Sun Microsystems Inc. chose as the CPU heart of its first multiprocessing computer. At the same time, Mr. Vegesna realized it was time for him to take the next step, to create not just technology, but a technology business. He left Ross Technology in 1994 to found ServerWorks, the first step on his path to Sify. In addition to his business activities, Mr. Vegesna is an active philanthropist, individually and through his U.S. charitable foundation, The Raju Vegesna Foundation, and through its sister Indian charitable trust, the Raju Vegesna Foundation (India). Mr. Vegesna holds several patents and publications on Microprocessor and Multiprocessor technology and has a passion for music. "

"Arvind Mathur joined Sify in April 2007 as Chief Architect-Global Services. He is responsible for architecting services, solutions and the product portfolio across the company's business lines, including evolution of the core network infrastructure to support next generation managed IP services and applications for global customers. Arvind brings with him over 17 years of international experience in the telecommunications and networking arena having worked with major telecom and network services providers; innovation and development centers; and network equipment providers. His prior assignments include stints at the Research Institute of Electrical Communication (Japan), Advanced Fibre Communications, Teleglobe Inc (USA), JDS Uniphase Inc (Canada) and Bharti Airtel Limited. Prior to joining Sify, Arvind was Vice President and Head of Global Product Management, Network Services for the Enterprise Business Division at Tata-VSNL. Arvind holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and a Masters Degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi specializing in Optical Communication and Optoelectronics.
