Board of Directors
Ms. Brown has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Fisher Communications, Inc. since October 2005. She was elected as a director on October 26, 2006. From 2004 to 2005, Ms. Brown was President and owner of Aberdeen Media Corporation, an entrepreneurial venture founded to pursue opportunities in the U.S. television market. Ms. Brown served as Senior Vice President at Belo Corp. from 2000 to 2003 and as President of the broadcast group for Lee Enterprises, Incorporated from 1998 to 2000. Ms. Brown served in various senior management capacities at Gannett Co., Inc.’s broadcasting operations from 1980 to 1998.
Mr. Lovejoy was appointed Chief Financial Officer on June 2, 2008. Mr. Lovejoy has been a Sr. Vice President of the Company since December 2006, responsible for strategic planning, financial analysis and business development. He has held positions at the Company including Sr. Vice President Media Operations and Vice President of the 100+ Group and Strategic Planning. From April 2004 to January 2006, Mr. Lovejoy was the Company’s Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Mr. Lovejoy was a Vice President at Duff & Phelps LLC from September 2001 to March 2004. He worked in the financial advisory services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from April 1997 to September 2001.
Before joining Fisher, Mr. Bellavia, a 1994 Cornell Law School graduate, was an attorney with Washington Mutual, Inc. where he worked on corporate governance, securities and transactional matters, and treasury and finance support. Prior to that, he practiced law in the Seattle office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati where he represented large and small technology companies and venture capital firms on corporate and securities matters, mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions.
Mr. Dunlop became Sr. Vice President of Operations on August 31, 2007. Mr. Dunlop has held various positions with the Company since 1991, including Sr. Vice President Developing Media. From 1998 to April 2006, Mr. Dunlop served as Vice President and General Manager of the Company’s Seattle radio operations.
Mr. Natha joined the Company as Vice President, Finance in November 2008 and was appointed Principal Accounting Officer in December 2008. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Natha served as the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary at Jones Soda Co., a beverage company until 2008. Before joining Jones Soda, Mr. Natha served as an associate with COF Selections, a professional CFO services firm from August 2005 to January 2006, a principal of B2BCFO, a CFO professional services firm, from March 2003 to July 2005, and Chief Financial officer of Washington Gaming Inc., a private real estate and gaming company, from January 2002 to December 2002. From October 2000 to December 2001, he served as senior manager of Accenture Inc. Mr. Natha is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Concordia University and a Graduate Diploma of Public Accountancy from McGill University.
Mr. Tamerlano was appointed Vice President Sales on August 9, 2007. He is also the Vice President and General Manager of KATU-TV (ABC) and KUNP-TV (Univision) in Portland, Oregon. Throughout Mr. Tamerlano’s 28-year career in broadcasting, he has gained extensive experience in broadcast sales. He has held sales management positions in the Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Portland markets, and had a strong sales career at Emmis, Lee Enterprises, and Gannett. Mr. Tamerlano joined Fisher in 2005.
Ms. Aliabadi was appointed Vice President Human Resources of the Company on February 26, 2007. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Aliabadi was the Chief Administrative Officer for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle from 2000 to 2007.
Ms. Minkarah became Vice President Business Development on March 1, 2009. Prior to that, she most recently served as the Vice President Market Development for the Company. From August 2002 to September 2007, Ms. Minkarah was the General Sales Manager for KOMO-TV, the Company’s flagship television station. Before joining the Company, she was Director of Sales for KTVX-TV (Salt Lake City), KCPQ/KTWB (Seattle) and WFTC-TV (Minneapolis).
Mr. McGuire joined the Company on January 2, 2007 as Vice President News and Programming. He is also the Vice President News and General Manager of Fisher Interactive Network. Mr. McGuire was with “The Daily Buzz”, a national syndicated morning show, from 2004 to December 2006. Prior to that, he was the News Director at KPTV, a Fox affiliate in Portland, Oregon.
Mr. Wortsman was elected as a director July 26, 2007. Mr. Wortsman is currently a private investor focusing on television content and feature film production. He is Senior Managing Partner of Frontera Productions LLC. He was President of Univision Television Group, the leading Spanish Language Media company in the United States from 1997 until the companies sale in April 2007 to a consortium of five Private Equity firms. Before joining Univision as Executive Vice President corporate Development in 1993, Mr. Wortsman held various Executive Positions at ABC, FOX and NBC owned Television and radio stations.

Deborah L. Bevier, 55, has been a director of Coinstar since August 2002 and was appointed the Board of Directors’ non-employee chairperson in October 2008. Ms. Bevier has been a principal of D.L. Bevier Consulting LLC (an organizational and management consulting firm) since May 2004. Ms. Bevier also served as president of Waldron Consulting, a division of Waldron & Co. (an organizational and management consulting firm) from July 2004 to April 2006. Prior to that time, from 1996 until 2003, Ms. Bevier served as a director, president, and chief executive officer of Laird Norton Financial Group and its predecessor companies (an independent financial advisory services firm). From 1973 to 1996, Ms. Bevier held numerous leadership positions with KeyCorp (a bank holding company), including chairman and chief executive officer of Key Bank of Washington. Ms. Bevier currently serves on the board of directors of Fisher Communications, Inc. (a media and communications company), F5 Networks, Inc. (an application traffic management software company) and Puget Sound Bank.
