FPL Group Inc.

Armando Olivera is president and chief executive officer of Florida Power & Light Company (FPL), the rate-regulated electric utility subsidiary of FPL Group, Inc., and one of the largest investor-owned electric utilities in the nation. He was appointed president in June 2003. Under Mr. Olivera's leadership, FPL has invested heavily in ensuring reliable service and meeting strong current and projected growth in demand for electric power in its vast service territory. FPL has one of the most efficient fossil power plant fleets in the nation and has taken a number of additional actions to mitigate high fuel costs. The company has implemented an industry-leading program to harden its electric system against hurricanes as well as ensure everyday reliability. Mr. Olivera joined FPL in 1972 and has served in a variety of management positions in the areas of transmission and distribution operations, fuels management, and strategic planning and resource allocation. His position before becoming president was as senior vice president of FPL's Power Systems business unit. Mr. Olivera holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami. He also is a graduate of the professional management development program of the Harvard Business School. In 2007, Mr. Olivera was appointed by Florida Governor Charlie Crist to serve on the Florida Governor's Action Team on Energy and Climate Change, which is tasked with developing a comprehensive strategy that achieves targets for statewide greenhouse gas reductions. He is the current president of the Southeastern Electric Exchange, immediate past chairman of the Florida Reliability Coordinating Council (FRCC), and a member of the board of Enterprise Florida, as well as a member of Cornell University Engineering Council and Cornell University Council.

Lewis Hay III, 52, is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FPL Group, Inc., a public utility holding company, and is Chairman of both Florida Power and Light Company and FPL Energy, LLC. He joined FPL Group in 1999 as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. From March 2000 until December 2001, he served as President of FPL Groupa s competitive energy subsidiary, FPL Energy, LLC. He was named President and Chief Executive Officer of FPL Group in June 2001 and relinquished the title of President in December 2006. He was named Chairman in January 2002. Mr. Hay has been a member of our Board since February 2002 and is Chairperson of the Corporate Governance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. In addition to being a director of FPL Group, Mr. Hay is also a director of Capital One Financial Corporation, Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, a director of the Florida Council of 100, a member of the Business Roundtable and a member of the Business Board of Advisors of the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

Carmen Perez joined FiberNet in 2004 and was named president of FPL FiberNet in January 2007 after having served as vice-president of sales and as controller and director of accounting. Prior to joining FiberNet, she served in the customer service organization of Florida Power & Light Company as director of revenue recovery. Before that, Perez served as FPL's director of corporate accounting and assistant controller. From 1982 to 1989, she was a certified public accountant with the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche, where she specialized in the management of audits of large financial and governmental institutions. Perez holds a bachelor degree in business administration degree from Florida International University.

Armando Pimentel is the incoming chief financial officer of FPL Group, Inc. (NYSE:FPL). He assumes his new post at the end of the first quarter of 2008. Until recently, Mr. Pimentel was a senior partner in the regulatory and public policy group at Deloitte & Touche. Previously, he held audit partner positions on clients in the financial services and energy industries, and led Deloitte's power and utilities segment. Prior to these appointments, Mr. Pimentel was the partner in charge of Deloitte's accounting research department in the firm's national office. From 1996 to 1998, he worked in the Office of the Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a professional accounting fellow. Mr. Pimentel has been a frequent speaker to national, industry and regulatory groups on his areas of specialization and interest, including: financial services and power generation industry matters, business and investment structuring transactions, asset securitizations and financial instruments including derivatives and hedging, as well as SEC rules and regulations.. Mr. Pimentel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Florida State University.

Mark R. Sorensen. Mr. Sorensen, 39, is vice president, finance and chief financial officer of FPL Energy, a position he has held since November 2002. From June 2000 to November 2002, he served as the controller of FPL Energy. From 1998 to June 2000, he served as director of finance of FPL Energy. He has been a director of the Funding Corp. and the Acquisition Corp. since January 2004.

T. J. Tuscai. Mr. Tuscai, 40, is senior vice president of NextEra Energy Resources, a position he has held since December 2006. Mr. Tuscai was president of FPL Fibernet, LLC, an indirect subsidiary of FPL Group that leases wholesale fiber-optic network capacity and dark fiber (FPL Fibernet), and served in that position from May 2004 until November 2005. From November 2005 to December 2006, Mr. Tuscai was president of Gexa Energy, LP, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources that provides retail electric services. From September 2003 to May 2004, Mr. Tuscai was vice president of global accounts for General Electric Capital Corporation (GE Capital), a financial services corporation, where his primary responsibility was for delivering innovative customer solutions for Fortune 100 companies by combining the value proposition from all General Electric Company businesses. He was appointed to the Management Committee by ESI GP in January 2007.

Mr. Tookes retired from Raytheon Company in December 2002. Since joining Raytheon in 1999 he has served as president of Raytheon International, chairman and chief executive officer of Raytheon Aircraft and executive vice president of Raytheon Company. From 1980 to 1999 Mr. Tookes served United Technologies Corporation as president of Pratt and Whitney's Large Military Engines Group and in a variety of other leadership positions. He is a director of Ryder Systems Inc., BBA Aviation plc, FPL Group, Inc. and Harris Corporation and a member of the National Academies Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board. Director since 2001. Age 59.

Mr. Brown, 70, is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Brown & Brown, Inc., an insurance broker based in Daytona Beach and Tampa, Florida. He is a director of SunTrust Banks, Inc., Rock-Tenn Company and International Speedway Corporation. Mr. Brown is a former member of the Florida House of Representatives and served as Speaker of the House from 1978 to 1980. He is a member and past chairman of the Board of Trustees of Stetson University. Mr. Brown has been a director of FPL Group since 1989.

Mr. Kingsley is retired. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Kingsley served from May 2003 to November 2004 as president and chief operating officer of Exelon Corporation, an integrated utility company. Prior thereto he was senior executive vice president of Exelon Corporation from February 2002 and president and chief nuclear officer from October 2000. Mr. Kingsley also served as president and chief executive officer of Exelon's subsidiary, Exelon Generation, from February 2000 to November 2004. Mr. Kingsley is a director of McDermott International, Inc. and has been a director of FPL Group since March 2007.

Mr. Tregurtha is chairman and chief executive officer of Moran Transportation Company, a tug and marine transportation services enterprise, and of Mormac Marine Group, Inc., a maritime company. He is also vice chairman of Interlake Steamship Company and Lakes Shipping Company. Mr. Tregurtha previously served as chairman, chief executive officer, president and chief operating officer of Moore McCormack Resources, Inc., a natural resources and water transportation company. He has been a director FPL Group since 1989.

Mr. Beall is chairman of Beall's, Inc., the parent company of Beall's Department Stores, Inc., and Beall's Outlet Stores, Inc., which operate retail stores located from Florida to California. Until August 2006, he was also chief executive officer of Beall's, Inc. Mr. Beall is a director of SunTrust Banks, Inc., Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida and the National Retail Federation. He is also past chairman of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Florida Council of 100. Mr. Beall has been a director of FPL Group since 1989.

Mrs. Barrat is president of Personal Financial Services for The Northern Trust Company, a banking corporation headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Barrat is a member of Northern Trust's Management Committee. Prior to being appointed to her current office in January 2006. Mrs. Barrat served as chairman and chief executive officer of Northern Trust Bank of California, N.A., from 1999 through 2005, and as president of Northern Trust Bank of Florida's Palm Beach Region from 1992 through 1998. Mrs. Barrat joined Northern Trust in 1990 in Miami. Mrs. Barrat has been a director FPL Group since 1998.

Ms. Jennings, 58, has since 2007 been the chairman of the board of Jack Jennings & Sons, Inc., a family-owned construction business which provides general contractor, construction manager and design builder services. She served as the Lieutenant Governor of the State of Florida from March 2003 through December 2006. Prior to serving in that role, she was a member of the Florida Senate from 1980 until 2000, including two consecutive terms as Senate President, and a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 1976 until 1980. From 1983 until she became Lieutenant Governor she also served as president of Jack Jennings and Sons. Ms. Jennings is a director of Brown & Brown, Inc. and the Nemours Foundation and a trustee of Rollins College. She has been a director of FPL Group since February 2007.
