Clark D. Elwood, age 48, has served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer since April 2009. From December 1996 though March 2009, he served as a Senior Vice President, as our Secretary since October 1992 and as our General Counsel since May 1991.
Daniel M. Fitzpatrick, age 49, has served as our Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since June 2005. From July 1998 through May 2005, he served as senior vice president and controller of Education Management Corporation, a provider of postsecondary education.
Glenn E. Tanner, age 61, has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer since April 2009. From April 2007 through March 2009, he served as Senior Vice President, Marketing. From October 2002 through March 2007, he served as our Vice President, Marketing.
Jeffrey R. Cooper, age 54, has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer of ITT/ESI since November 2004. Mr. Cooper served as vice president of Great American Financial Resources, Inc. ("GAFR"), the holding company for the annuity and life insurance operations of American Financial Group, from June 1999 through October 2004, and as chief compliance officer of GAFR from June 1997 through October 2004.
Martin Van Buren, age 41, has served as our Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer since April 2008. From January 2004 through March 2008, he served as our Vice President, Information Technology.
Eugene W. Feichtner, age 53, has served as an Executive Vice President and President since April 2009. From March 2004 through March 2009, he served as our Senior Vice President, Operations. From March 2002 through February 2004, he served as our Vice President, National Operations Director.
Barry S. Simich has served as Vice President, Operations since 2005. Between 2001 and 2005 he served as one of the company's District Managers. Between 1991 and 2001 he served as Director of an ITT Technical Institute.
David E. Catalano, age 43, has served as our Senior Vice President, Business Development since November 2007. Mr. Catalano served as chief executive officer of Midwest Bankers Holdings, Inc., a commercial lending and advisory firm, from September 1996 through October 2007.
Nina F. Esbin, age 49, has served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources of ITT/ESI since January 2004. From January 2003 through December 2003, she served as Vice President, Director Human Resources of ITT/ESI. Ms. Esbin was self-employed as a human resources consultant from December 2001 through December 2002. She served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources of RealMed Corporation, a healthcare technology company, from March 2000 through November 2001. Ms. Esbin served as Director, Human Resources of CIT Group Inc., a commercial and consumer finance company, from January 1999 through February 2000.
William J. Gorge has served as our Senior Vice President, Business Development since August 2006. From April 2005 through July 2006, he served as vice president, human resources of Guidant Sales Corp. ( GSC ), a subsidiary of Guidant Corporation, a developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices. Mr. Gorge served as vice president, finance and strategy of GSC from July 2002 through March 2005, and managing director, Guidant Australia and New Zealand from October 2000 through June 2002.
Angela K. Knowlton became Vice President, Controller and Treasurer of ITT / ESI effective February 21, 2006. Prior to coming to ITT/ESI Angela worked for Roche Diagnostics Corp as Director, Finance (Division CFO/Controller). She has also worked for OCMC as VP, Finance, Controller and Treasurer, Wabash National Corp as Vice President, Corporate Controller, Alltrista Corp as VP, Finance & Treasurer and Price Waterhouse as Tax Manager, Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant. Angela holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University, Bloomington and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Gary R. Carlson, Ed.D., age 60, has served as Vice President, Academic Affairs of ITT/ESI since September 2002. From June 1997 through August 2002 he served as the National Director for Education of ITT/ESI. Dr. Carlson has been serving in the education field for thirty-four years with experiences in secondary education, special education and higher education. He served in positions of College Director, Director of Special Education, Supervisor of Special Education, Vice President for a Children's Home, high school teacher and adjunct professor.
John Dean is a Washington, D.C. attorney specializing in higher education law and policy. He is the former associate counsel to the House Committee on Education & Labor of the U.S. House of Representatives and has worked on higher education policy since 1985. He is a frequent speaker at meetings of colleges and universities, financial aid administrators, and others involved with student aid programs. Mr. Dean serves on the Board of Directors of the National College Access Network, the KnowledgeWorks Foundation, ITT Educational Services, and Higher Education Washington, Inc. He is a partner in the law firm of Dean Blakey and a principal in the firm of Washington Partners, LLC. Dean is a member of the American Bar Association, Administrative Law Section, and the Virginia and District of Columbia bar associations. He is the author of articles in scholarly publications and is a frequent contributor to trade association and other publications read by the financial services industry. Mr. Dean received a B.A. from Georgetown University in 1973, and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1982.

Vin Weber is Chief Executive Officer of Clark & Weinstock. He provides strategic advice to institutions with matters before the Legislative and Executive branches of the Federal government. Vin is Chairman of the National Endowment for Democracy, a private, nonprofit organization designed to strengthen democratic institutions around the world through nongovernmental efforts. He serves on the Board of The Council on Foreign Relations and co-chaired a major independent task force on U.S. Policy Toward Reform in the Arab World with former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Vin is a member of the U.S. Secretary of Defense's Defense Policy Board Advisory Committee, and he also serves on the U.S. Secretary of State's Advisory Committee on Democracy Promotion. He is a senior fellow at the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota, where he is co-director of the Policy Forum. In addition, Vin is a board member of several private sector and non-profit organizations, including ITT Educational Services, The Lenox Group, and the Aspen Institute where he serves on the Institute's Middle East Strategy Group. Vin is one of the most prominent and successful strategists in the Republican Party and enjoys strong bipartisan relationships across the Legislative and Executive branches of government. He serves as a trusted advisor to senior officials in the Administration and on Capitol Hill, and has counseled numerous Presidential campaigns. He is Policy Chairman of Romney for President, Inc., overseeing all policy development for Governor Mitt Romney. In 2004, Vin was the Bush-Cheney '04 Plains States Regional Chairman. He has been featured in numerous national publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, the Associated Press, National Journal, and The New Republic. Vin is a sought-after political and policy analyst, appearing frequently on major television outlets, including NBC's Nightly News, The News Hour with Jim Lehrer on PBS, ABC's This Week, the CBS Early Show, Fox News Channel, CNN, and MSNBC. He is a contributing columnist to The Hill newspaper. Prior to opening Clark & Weinstock's Washington office in 1994, Vin was president and co-director with Jack Kemp, Jeane Kirkpatrick and Bill Bennett of Empower America, a public policy advocacy group. Vin served in the United States House of Representatives from 1981 to 1993, representing Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District. He was a member of the Appropriations Committee and an elected member of the House Republican Leadership. Prior to his Congressional service, he served as campaign manager and chief Minnesota aide to Sen. Rudy Boschwitz (1978-1980), and as the co-publisher of The Murray County Herald (1976-1978). He and his wife Cheryl have two daughters. The Webers maintain homes in Alexandria, Virginia and Walker, Minnesota.
James D. Fowler, Jr., age 61, served as senior vice president and director, human resources of ITT Industries, an industrial, commercial machinery and equipment company, from November 2000 until his retirement in October 2002. Mr. Fowler served as president of Fowler & Associates, a consulting firm, from February 1996 through October 2000. He also served as president of the Executive Leadership Council and Foundation ("ELCF"), a non-profit, non-partisan charitable and educational organization, from February 2000 through October 2000 and executive director and administrator of the ELCF from October 1997 through January 2000. Mr. Fowler has been a Director of ITT/ESI since April 1994.

Mr. Waterhouse, age 57, served as chief executive officer and president of Harcourt Education, a global education company serving students and teachers, adult learners and readers, from September 2006 until his retirement in January 2008. Mr. Waterhouse served as an independent director and consultant from August 2004 through September 2006. From April 2001 through July 2004, he served as chief executive officer and chairman of Reynolds and Reynolds Co., a leading provider of integrated solutions to automotive retailers. Samuel L. Odle, age 59, has served as president and chief executive officer of Methodist Hospital ("MH") and Indiana University Hospital ("IUH") and executive vice president of Clarian Health Partners ("Clarian"), an Indianapolis-based private, non-profit healthcare organization comprised of MH, IUH and Riley Hospital for Children, since July 2004. Timothy A. Rauschenbach, age 43, was appointed Vice President, Online Operations on September 26, 2005. Previous positions include Vice President of Customer Service for Amazon.com and Vice President of Customer Service for Service Master.
