Mr. Luke, 59, began his career with Westvaco in 1979. In 1983, he was elected treasurer, and in 1986 he was elected vice president. Between 1987 and 1989 as a senior vice president, his responsibilities expanded to include the corporate marketing function, the international sales organization and Rigesa, Ltda., Westvaco's Brazilian subsidiary. In 1989, he became a member of the board of directors. He was elected executive vice president in 1990, president and chief executive officer in 1992 and chairman in 1996. He was elected chairman of MWV in November 2002.

Dr. Goldfrank, 64, is president of the Center for Packaging Innovation of MeadWestvaco Corporation.
Dr. Goldfrank joined Mead in 1990 as president of Mead Imaging, which was subsequently sold. In 1991, he became corporate vice president of Mead Central Research and, in 1994, he became president of MWV Coated Board.
Dr. Goldfrank began his career in 1968 with Xerox Corporation where he held a variety of technical and management positions. In 1980, he joined Mead's Digital Systems Division in Dayton as vice president of operations. From 1983 to 1988, he was senior vice president of operations for Diconix, Inc. (formerly Mead Digital Systems and a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak since 1983). In 1988, he accepted the position of director, OEM sales and strategic relationships, for the Copier Products Division of Eastman Kodak. He became director, strategic planning of the Printer Products Division in 1989.

Mr. Buzzard, 53, has responsibility for our company's operations including Packaging, Consumer & Office Products, Specialty Chemicals, Specialty Papers, Technology and Supply Chain.
Mr. Buzzard began his career with Westvaco in 1978 and completed several assignments in the Controller’s department and the former Kraft Division. In 1982, he was named purchasing manager for the Kraft Division. In 1984, he was named administration manager for the former Container Division. He became area sales manager for the Eaton, Ohio, container plant in 1986. He was promoted to corporate marketing manager in marketing services in 1988 and became manager of marketing services in 1990, responsible for corporate market research, the company’s Marketing Personnel Development Program and working with the company's divisions to develop their new products and services. In 1991, he was named manager of business planning and analysis for the Envelope Division, and in 1992 he was named manager of the Envelope Division and elected vice president of Westvaco. In 1994, he became interim marketing and sales manager of the Fine Papers Division and became sales and marketing manager in 1995. In 1998, he was named assistant division manager of the Fine Papers Division. In 1999, he was elected senior vice president of Westvaco and manager of the Fine Papers Division. In 2000, he assumed responsibility for the Envelope Division, and later that year, he was named executive vice president of Westvaco. He was named executive vice president for MeadWestvaco Corporation in 2002 with responsibility for merger integration and the Consumer & Office Products Group. He was named president in 2003.

Mr. Gulling, 55, is president, Global Business Services for MeadWestvaco. He is responsible for leading the company’s global internal service operations, including shared services for human resources, finance, purchasing and logistics. In addition, Mr. Gulling is the chief information officer of MeadWestvaco.
Mr. Gulling joined Kodak in 1974 as a systems analyst and subsequently held senior positions in Information Technology (IT). In 1998, he was named program manager responsible to install the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software across Kodak globally. In 2001, he was named chief information officer and vice president where he established a global IT organization. In 2004 he established Eastman Kodak's global shared services organization. His successful efforts led Shared Services News to recognize him as a "2005 Most Admired Leader of a Shared Service Organization."

Mr. Feeser, 46, is president of tobacco, paperboard SBUs and operatons. His responsibilities include all of the company’s primary mill-based manufacturing businesses in the US and in Brazil.
Mr. Feeser joined Mead’s Fine Paper Division as a product manager in 1987, and later served as marketing director and director of sales and marketing, carbonless and converting papers. In 1994, he was named director of sales and marketing for the carbonless and converting business unit of the Paper Division. He joined Zellerbach, Mead’s distribution business, in 1995 as vice president and general manager of the industrial business unit. In 1997, Mr. Feeser was named president of Gilbert Paper and served in this role until joining Mead’s Containerboard Division in 2000, where he served as president until 2002. In 2002, he was named corporate VP of packaging where he led integration activities within the packaging businesses following the Mead and Westvaco merger. In 2003 he assume responsibility for Rigesa, the company’s Brazilian packaging subsidiary. In 2004, he was named president, Packaging Resources Group, which included the company’s bleached paperboard businesses and Rigesa. His responsibilities were expanded in 2006 to include both the Kraft and Coated Kraft businesses.
Prior to joining Mead, Mr. Feeser was with Champion International, where he held various positions in process engineering and product development working from Champion’s Technical Center in Hamilton, Ohio.

Mr. Watkins, 54, is senior vice president of MeadWestvaco Corporation with responsibility for corporate engineering, stewardship, sustainability, safety, health and environmental. Previously he served as vice president of technology for the Mead Corporation.
Mr. Watkins joined Mead in 1997 as vice president of Michigan operations for the Publishing Paper Division, where he had oversight of the Escanaba, Michigan paper mill and related woodland and sawmill operations. In 1999, he was promoted to vice president of human resources and organizational development for the newly combined Paper Division. Beyond his duties to ensure a successful reorganization of the division, he served as the lead management sponsor for the division’s ERP implementation project. Mr. Watkins was appointed vice president of technology for Mead in 2000. As a member of the corporate executive management committee, his responsibilities included the functions of central research, central engineering and the corporate safety, health and environmental group.
Mr. Watkins began his career in the paper industry in 1977 when he joined Union Camp at its Franklin, Virginia mill as a process engineer. In 1989, Mr. Watkins was named operations manager of the Eastover mill and managed the start-up of a $750 million expansion of the mill, including a new chemical recovery line, fiber line, market pulp dryer and paper machine. Mr. Watkins was promoted to resident manager of the Eastover mill in 1991 and served as the senior management representative for Union Camp in South Carolina. He served as a member of the division’s multifunction management team, participating in strategic and business planning, as well as leadership in the division’s total quality implementation and order management system redesign.

Mr. Massee, 59, is vice president responsible for corporate affairs of MeadWestvaco Corporation.
Mr. Massee joined Westvaco in 1985 as an assistant government relations manager. In 1986, he was promoted to manager of government relations. In that position, he provided leadership of corporate government relations activities and coordinated the Westvaco Political Participation Program, of which he was vice chairman and secretary, and coordinated the Westvaco grassroots network. In March 1991, he was promoted to assistant manager, public affairs. He was elected vice president and promoted to manager in August 1991. In 2001, he became vice president of corporate affairs with responsibility for government relations, corporate security, facility management, oversight of company philanthropic programs, including the Westvaco Foundation, and was a member of the Human Resources Leadership Team, as well as being responsible for a number of other corporate-related activities.
Before joining Westvaco, Mr. Massee had over 12 years of experience on Capitol Hill. He was a key member of the staff of United States Senator Jennings Randolph (D-WV) between 1973 and 1984. As chief legislative assistant, he was responsible for the coordination of the senator’s legislative program and staff.

Mr. Banu, 60, is controller of MeadWestvaco Corporation.
Mr. Banu joined Westvaco in 1976 as senior internal auditor. He was promoted to assistant internal audit manager in January 1977 and internal audit manager in March 1978. In 1980, he became assistant controller and was named controller in January 1995. In November 1999, he was elected vice president and assumed responsibility for the business services area of the Packaging Resources Group. Mr. Banu was promoted to corporate controller in 2002.

Mr. Carrara, 53, is assistant secretary and associate general counsel of MeadWestvaco Corporation.

Richard Kelson has over 30 years of project and financial management experience as well as significant merger and acquisitions experience in the industrial sector, most recently as Chairman’s Counsel at Alcoa, Inc. Mr. Kelson also served as Alcoa’s Executive Vice President and CFO for nearly a decade.
Prior to that, he was Alcoa, Inc.’s Executive Vice President – Environment, Health and Safety and General Counsel, and a member of the Executive Council - the senior leadership group that provides strategic direction for the company. While he was EVP EHS, Alcoa won numerous awards including the prestigious World Environment Center award. He has also served as Alcoa’s Chief Compliance Officer. In 2000, CFO Magazine awarded Mr. Kelson two of its 11 prestigious global CFO Excellence Awards. In 2006, he was personally recognized by the Hackett Group for World Class Finance; and, in 2004 and 2005, Institutional Investor magazine named him “Best CFO in Metals and Mining.” He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of MeadWestvaco Corporation, PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. and Lighting Science Group Corporation.
He was a member of the Board of Trustees at Carnegie Mellon University from 2000 to 2006 and serves on the board of the University of Pittsburgh Law School Board of Visitors.

Edward M. Straw was named a director of Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc. in June 2005. From March 2000 to February 2005, Mr. Straw served as President of Global Operations of the Estée Lauder Companies. Michael E. Campbell is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Arch Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: ARJ), a global specialty chemicals company, concentrated in Biocides, with approximately $1.5 billion in annual sales. He has led the company since its inception in February 1999, guiding it through a period of significant change that has strengthened the company’s market leadership positions, increased its operational efficiency and enhanced its reputation as an innovative supplier.
Arch and its subsidiaries have leadership positions in Biocides, Water Products, Wood Protection, Personal Care Ingredients, and Coatings. Prior to the creation of Arch Chemicals, Mr. Campbell served as Olin Corporation’s Executive Vice President overseeing all businesses. Mr. Campbell served during the mid-1990s as President of Olin Microelectronic Materials. During his tenure as president, the division posted record sales and earnings as it satisfied strong demand from global semiconductor manufacturers.
A native of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Mr. Campbell received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1968. Following service as a U.S. Naval officer, he earned a Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University. At law school, he was elected to the Law Review and earned membership in the Order of the Coif, a legal honor society. He has also attended the Yale Executive Management Program.
Mr. Campbell serves as Lead Director on the MeadWestvaco Corporation Board of Directors, where he is a member of the Finance and Nominating and Governance Committees. He also serves on the Milliken & Company Board of Directors, and is a member of its Audit Committee. Mr. Campbell is Chairman of the National Association of Manufacturers, and Chairman of the US-China Business Relations Task force. He is Chairman and a member of the Society of Chemical Industry's Executive Committee. Mr. Campbell serves on the American Chemistry Council Board and is a former Board Chairman. Previously, Mr. Campbell served as Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign Committee and Chairman of the Corporate Relations Committee at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Business Council of Fairfield County.
He is active with the Committee to Encourage Corporate Philanthropy. In May 2004, Mr. Campbell was named Responsible Care Leader of the Year by the American Chemistry Council Responsible Care Team. Mr. Campbell is also the recipient of the 2004 Vanguard Award, presented by the Chemical Educational Foundation to individuals who foster a greater understanding of chemistry and the industry through community outreach, product stewardship, leadership and support for educational activities.
In July 2005, Mr. Campbell was appointed to the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations (ACTPN). The ACTPN is the principal trade advisory committee providing overall policy advice on trade matters to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR). Mr. Campbell is also a member of the ACTPN China Task Force.

Susan J. Kropf has been a member of the board of directors of The Wallace Foundation since 2002. From 2001 until her retirement in January 2007, Kropf served as president and chief operating officer of Avon Products Inc. with full profit-and-loss responsibility for all of Avon's worldwide operations, including global marketing and supply chain. She was a member of Avon's board of directors since January 1998. A 35-year veteran of Avon, Kropf has held key positions in virtually every area of the company, including marketing, research and development, global product development, customer service and manufacturing. She served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Avon North America and global business operations. In this role, she was responsible for the company's North American operating business unit, as well as global marketing, research and development, supply chain operations and information technology. From 1997 to 1998, she was president of Avon U.S., the company's largest single market, and from 1994 to 1997, she was president of new and emerging markets. Under her leadership, Russia became the fastest-growing new market entry in Avon's history; Central Europe also grew dramatically. In addition, Kropf had operating responsibility for China, and she led Avon's entry into South Africa via Avon's acquisition of Justine (Pty) Ltd. Kropf serves on the boards of Coach Inc., MeadWestvaco Corp. and The Sherwin-Williams Co. She is also a member of Cosmetic Executive Women. In 2005, she was honored by the March of Dimes with the Beautiful Apple award for her dedication to charity. In 1997, Kropf was inducted into the YWCA Academy of Women Achievers. Kropf holds a B.A. from St. John's University and an M.B.A in finance from New York University.
