OM Group Inc.

Gordon A. Ulsh was appointed in April 2005 as President and CEO of Exide Technologies (NASDAQ: XIDE), a global leader in stored electrical-energy solutions. He also is a member of the Company's Board of Directors. Most recently, Mr. Ulsh was Chairman, President and CEO of Texas-based FleetPride Inc., the nation's largest independent aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck parts. Prior to joining FleetPride in 2001, Mr. Ulsh worked with Ripplewood Equity Partners, providing analysis of automotive industry segments for investment opportunities. Earlier, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Federal-Mogul Corporation in 1999 and as head of its Worldwide Aftermarket Division in 1998. Prior to Federal-Mogul, he held a number of leadership positions with Cooper Industries, including Executive Vice President of its automotive products segment. Mr. Ulsh joined Cooper's Wagner Lighting business unit in 1984 as Vice President of Operations, following 16 years in manufacturing and engineering management at Ford Motor Company. Mr. Ulsh holds a bachelor's degree from Butler University.

Kenneth Haber, 58, Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Haber assumed his current position on an interim basis in 2005 and permanently in 2006. Earlier, he worked on significant projects for OM Group, helping to develop a rigorous planning/budgeting process and establishing key performance metrics. Prior to joining OM Group, he was owner and President of G&H Group Company. The certified public accountant holds a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Gregory J. Griffith, 53, Vice President, Strategic Planning, Development and Investor Relations. Mr. Griffith came to OM Group in 2002 as Director of Investor Relations, and was appointed Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations in 2005. He was named to his current position in 2007. Prior to joining OM Group, he served as Director of Corporate Communications for Great Lakes Chemical Corporation.

James T. Kenyon, 51 joined OM Group in 2008 as Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Kenyon was with Danaher Corporation for 12 years prior to joining OM Group with his last assignment as Vice President of Human Resources for the Danaher Tool Group. Earlier he was employed by Allied-Signal (now Honeywell) in various HR roles. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Cleveland State University and his Master’s of Organizational Development from Bowling Green State University.

Stephen D. Dunmead, 45, Vice President and General Manager, Specialties Group. Dr. Dunmead came to OM Group in the 1998 acquisition of its tungsten business. He subsequently rose through the technical ranks to attain his current position in 2006. Dr. Dunmead spent 10 years with Dow Chemical Company, where he was Group Leader for Advanced Materials Process Development, and six years at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he was involved in advanced materials development in support of federal programs. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Ohio State University and a doctorate in materials science and engineering from the University of California.

Valerie Gentile Sachs, 53, Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Before her appointment to her present position in 2005, Ms. Sachs served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Jo-Ann Stores, Inc. Earlier, she was General Counsel of Marconi plc; Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Marconi Communications, Inc.; and Senior Associate Counsel at the former M.A. Hanna Company. She began her career as an Associate with the law firm of Arter & Hadden and later was with the law firm of Baker Hostetler. Ms. Sachs earned her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

William J. Reidy, age 68, has been a Director since 2002. Mr. Reidy, a certified public accountant, is the former managing partner of the Northeast Ohio practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He retired in 1999, after a 35-year career with the firm. Mr. Reidy is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, a provider of health care services. He also serves on the boards of several community organizations, including Cleveland Clinic Western Region and the Gateway Economic Development Corporation.

Richard W. Blackburn, age 66, has been a Director since August 2005. Mr. Blackburn retired from Duke Energy Corporation in 2004 after seven years as Executive Vice President and General Counsel; in the last year, he was also Chief Administrative Officer. Mr. Blackburn is a Director of Enesco Group, Inc., a producer of giftware and home and garden decor products, and a Trustee of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and George Washington University.

Mr. Steven J. Demetriou has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aleris International, Inc., a producer of aluminum rolled products since December 2004. From June 2004 to December 2004, Mr. Demetriou served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Commonwealth Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of aluminum sheet and flexible aluminum conduit, and from 2001 until June 2004, Mr. Demetriou served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Noveon, Inc., a specialty chemical company. Mr. Demetriou has also held various management and leadership positions with IMC Global Inc., Cytec Industries Inc., and Exxon Mobil Corporation. Mr. Demetriou is also a director of OM Group, Inc., a diversified, global developer, producer and marketer of value-added, metal-based specialty chemicals and advanced materials and whose shares are publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Demetriou, who is 49 years old, became a member of our Board of Directors in 2008. His term will expire at our annual general meeting in 2010
