Marijn E. Dekkers is President and Chief Executive Officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and has served in that position since the merger of Thermo Electron Corp. and Fisher Scientific International in November 2006. Prior to that merger, Mr. Dekkers was President and Chief Executive Officer of Thermo Electron Corp., a position he held since November 2002. He served as Thermo's President and Chief Operating Officer from July 2000 to November 2002. Prior to joining Thermo Electron Corp., Mr. Dekkers held various positions of increasing responsibility at Honeywell International Inc. (formerly AlliedSignal Inc.) and General Electric Co. Mr. Dekkers is also a director of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Director Since 2009 Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. since May 2008. Prior to being named Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Casper served as president of Thermo Fisher's Analytical Technologies business following the merger of Thermo Electron and Fisher Scientific in November 2006. From December 2003 to November 2006, Mr. Casper served as Senior Vice President of Thermo Electron Corporation. Mr. Casper joined Thermo Electron Corporation in December 2001 as President of its Life and Laboratory Sciences sector. Previously, he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Kendro Laboratory Products and prior to that, he was President-Americas for Dade Behring Inc. Mr. Casper began his career at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant and later joined Bain Capital, where he oversaw business development, strategy and business integration in select companies owned by Bain. Mr. Casper currently also serves on the board of The Advisory Board Company, a healthcare best practices research and consulting organization. He attended Harvard Business School where he earned his MBA with high distinction and is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he received a B.A. in economics.

Prior to this role, Broadbent was the president of Thermo Electron's laboratory equipment division. He joined Thermo in November 2000, serving as president of its optical technologies segment and its lasers and photonics business. Before joining Thermo Electron, Broadbent was vice president and general manager of the power management division for Honeywell International (formerly AlliedSignal). There, he managed the manufacturing and marketing of materials and devices used to generate power in a wide variety of electrical and electronic systems. Earlier in his career, Broadbent served in various marketing and product management roles for General Electric Plastics, BF Goodrich in Belgium and Dow Chemical in the Netherlands. A native of the United Kingdom, Broadbent received a bachelor's degree in chemistry and polymer science from Loughborough University in England.

Thomas J. Lynch is the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Tyco Electronics, one of the worlda s largest providers of engineered electronic components, network solutions and wireless systems. With 2006 revenue of US$12.8 billion, Tyco Electronics has nearly 100,000 employees in more than 45 countries. Mr. Lynch joined Tyco in September 2004 as President of Tyco Engineered Products & Services (TEPS), a business segment of Tyco International. With 2005 revenue of US$6.5 billion, TEPS is the worlda s leading manufacturer of industrial valves and controls. He was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Tyco Electronics in January 2006. Mr. Lynch joined Tyco from Motorola, where he served as Executive Vice President of Motorola, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Motorolaa s Personal Communications sector, a US$12 billion leading supplier of cellular handsets. Prior to this role, he served as President of the Integrated Electronics Systems sector, of which automotive was the largest market segment. Prior to Motorola, Mr. Lynch was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Satellite and Broadcast Network Systems segment for General Instrument Corporation. Mr. Lynch serves as a Director of the U.S.-China Business Council, the leading organization of U.S. companies engaged in business with the Peoplea s Republic of China. Mr. Lynch has a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from Rider University, New Jersey, U.S. He also serves on the Tyco Electronics Board of Directors.
