Marijn E. Prior to this role, Broadbent was the president of Thermo Electron's laboratory equipment division. He joined Thermo in November 2000, serving as president of its optical technologies segment and its lasers and photonics business. Before joining Thermo Electron, Broadbent was vice president and general manager of the power management division for Honeywell International (formerly AlliedSignal). There, he managed the manufacturing and marketing of materials and devices used to generate power in a wide variety of electrical and electronic systems. Earlier in his career, Broadbent served in various marketing and product management roles for General Electric Plastics, BF Goodrich in Belgium and Dow Chemical in the Netherlands. A native of the United Kingdom, Broadbent received a bachelor's degree in chemistry and polymer science from Loughborough University in England.

Thomas J. Lynch is the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Tyco Electronics, one of the worlda s largest providers of engineered electronic components, network solutions and wireless systems. Mr. Lynch joined Tyco from Motorola, where he served as Executive Vice President of Motorola, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Motorolaa s Personal Communications sector, a US$12 billion leading supplier of cellular handsets. Prior to this role, he served as President of the Integrated Electronics Systems sector, of which automotive was the largest market segment. Prior to Motorola, Mr. Lynch was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Satellite and Broadcast Network Systems segment for General Instrument Corporation. Mr. Lynch serves as a Director of the U.S.-China Business Council, the leading organization of U.S. companies engaged in business with the Peoplea s Republic of China.
