Travelers Companies Inc.

Mr. Fishman is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Travelers. He served as the Company's Chief Executive Officer since the Merger, and assumed the additional role of Chairman in September 2005. From October 2001 until the Merger, Mr. Fishman had been Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of The St. Paul Companies, Inc. Prior to October 2001, Mr. Fishman served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of The Travelers Insurance Group, Inc., (which became Travelers Property Casualty Corp. in 2002 and merged with a subsidiary of St. Paul in 2004) (from 2000) and as Chief Executive Officer and President of Travelers Property Casualty Corp. (which became Travelers Insurance Group Holdings Inc. in 2002) ("Holdings") (from 1998) and as Chairman of Holdings (from March 2000 to January 2001). Mr. Fishman held several key executive posts at Primerica, Travelers and Citigroup from 1989 to October 2001. At the University of Pennsylvania, he is a member of the Board of Trustees, the Board of Overseers of the Graduate School of Education and the Industry Advisory Board of the Financial Institutions Center for The Wharton School. He serves on the Board of Directors of the National Academy Foundation.

Mr. MacLean was named President and Chief Operating Officer in June 2008, following three years as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for all insurance operations, including Personal Insurance, Business Insurance, and Financial, Professional & International Insurance, including the company’s runoff businesses. He is also responsible for Claim Services, including claim service delivery and technical claim results. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. MacLean was Executive Vice President, Claim Services and before that, 1999 to 2002, he served as President of Select Accounts for Travelers Insurance Group Holdings, Inc. Previously, he served in a number of senior financial roles after joining Travelers in 1988, following his experience as audit manager at Peat Marwick (now KPMG LLP). Mr. MacLean holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and a master’s degree from the University of South Carolina.

Mr. Kinney is president of Field Management for Travelers, leading the company’s 13 U.S. regional presidents of field management to maximize the value of the Travelers franchise with our distribution force. Prior to his current responsibilities, Mr. Kinney served in a dual role as regional executive for the Northeast Region and as regional vice president for the Northeast Region of Select Accounts. Since joining the company in 1983, Mr. Kinney has held a number of positions including Risk Management Information Specialist, National Account Executive, Workers’ Compensation Managed Care Product Manager, and vice president of Sales and Marketing, Select Accounts.

Tom Kunkel is President of Bond & Financial Products for Travelers. Mr. Kunkel joined a predecessor of Travelers in 1984, with four years of industry experience, and from there assumed positions of increasing responsibility in several field offices, including Regional Vice President. Beginning in 2001, he progressed through various key roles, including Regional Chief Underwriting Officer for Bond’s Construction Surety business, head of Bond’s field management organization, and head of Bond’s Commercial Surety business. In 2005, he was promoted to President of the Bond & Financial Products organization.

Alan D. Schnitzer is vice chairman and chief legal officer for Travelers. He oversees the company’s legal function and public policy and government affairs function. He also oversees the Financial, Professional & International Insurance business segment. In addition, he works closely with other members of the company’s senior leadership team on a wide range of business and strategic matters. Mr. Schnitzer joined Travelers in April 2007. He previously served as Travelers’ lead outside counsel for a number of years as a partner in the law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, LLP, where he advised corporate clients on a variety of transactions and general corporate law matters. Mr. Schnitzer is a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of The Legal Aid Society, the nation’s oldest and largest provider of legal services to the indigent, with approximately 850 lawyers located in New York. Mr. Schnitzer received his undergraduate degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a dual major in finance and accounting and his J.D. from Columbia Law School.

Mr. Bessette has been Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of the Company since the Merger, and prior to that, he held the same offices with SPC since joining SPC in January 2002. Before that, he was vice president of Corporate Real Estate and Services for TPC. From 1980 to December 2001, Mr. Bessette held a number of management positions at TIGHI.

Mr. Benet has been Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer since August 2005, and before that, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company since the Merger, and from February 2002 until the Merger, he held those same offices at TPC. From March 2001 until January 2002, Mr. Benet was the worldwide head of financial planning, analysis and reporting at Citigroup and Chief Financial Officer for Citigroup’s Global Consumer Europe, Middle East and Africa unit between April 2000 and March 2001. Before that, Mr. Benet spent 10 years in various executive positions with Travelers Life & Annuity, including Chief Financial Officer of Travelers Life & Annuity and Executive Vice President, Group Annuity from December 1998 to April 2000, and Senior Vice President Group Annuity from December 1996 to December 1998. Prior to joining Travelers Life & Annuity, Mr. Benet was a partner of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

William A. Bloom is responsible for Insurance Operations and Information Technology for Travelers. He was Chief Information Officer at Travelers from July 2003 until the merger. Mr. Bloom joined Travelers from Accenture, where he was a Partner in the Financial Services Practice. He worked for Accenture from 2000 to 2003 and also from 1985 to 1996. From 1996 to 2000, he worked for Hartford Life, where he was Vice President, responsible for National Accounts and Business Technology Services in the Employee Benefits Division.

Mr. Heyman has been Vice Chairman since May 2005. Before that, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer (at St. Paul Travelers since the merger, and prior to the merger, at The St. Paul ). Mr. Heyman joined The St. Paul in May 2002 from Citigroup, where he was Chairman of Citigroup Investments. Prior to joining Citigroup’s predecessor, Travelers Group, Mr. Heyman was a managing Director of Salomon Brothers. Before that, he served as Director of Market Regulation at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, DC. Mr. Heyman graduated from Princeton University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Advisory Board of the Bendheim Center for Finance at Princeton University, and the Council on Foreign Relations. In 2007, President Bush appointed him as a director of the Securities Industry Investor Protection Corp. (SIPC).

Mr. Hannon has been Executive Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management since February 2007. He also serves as the company's business conduct officer. Mr. Hannon joined the company in March 2005 as executive vice president of Run-Off Operations from Citigroup where he served as controller and chief accounting officer. Prior to that, he held the position of managing director and chief executive officer of the Citigroup Business Services, the shared service provider for Citigroup businesses. Previously, he was chief financial officer of Travelers Property Casualty Corp. Bill also spent more than 25 years at KPMG, where he was elected a partner in 1981 and later became deputy managing partner of the Financial Services Practice.

Doreen Spadorcia has been Executive Vice President—Claim, since March 2, 2005. Prior to that, she was President and Chief Executive Officer of Bond operations for the Company since the Merger and, before that, for TPC since June 2002. From 1994 to May 2002, she managed the TPC Bond claim operation and served as General Counsel of that business unit. She joined TIGHI in 1986 as a claim attorney.

Ms. Woodward has been Executive Vice President for Public Policy for the company since June 2008. She joined Travelers from Goldman, Sachs & Co., where she was the founding Executive Director of their Global Markets Institute. During her nine years at Goldman Sachs, Ms. Woodward also served as Vice President and Director of Washington Research for Goldman Sachs’ Global Investment Research. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ms. Woodward worked on Capitol Hill for 12 years, serving as Deputy Chief of Staff for the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance, as well as Senior Economist for the U.S. Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs and the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Budget. Ms. Woodward is engaged with numerous community and charitable groups including serving on the Boards of the Bryce Harlow Foundation and the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Washington, DC.

Mr. Albano is Executive Vice President for Business Insurance. Prior to that he was Executive Vice President of Commercial Insurance and prior to that he was President of National Accounts. Over the years, he has held many other underwriting and management positions involved with small, mid-sized & larger commercial businesses. Mr. Albano has been with the company since 1971.

Mr. Lacher is Executive Vice President of Personal Insurance and Select Accounts. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of Personal for the Company, a position that he held since January 2005, and prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of the Company in charge of those operations. Prior to the Merger, he was Executive Vice President—Personal for TPC. Before that, he was Senior Vice President of Product & Actuarial for TPC’s Personal insurance operations since April 2001. Mr. Lacher was Senior Vice President of Personal Strategic Distribution for TIGHI from April 1999 to April 2001, and from April 1996 to April 1999, he was Chief Financial Officer of Select Accounts. Mr. Lacher joined TIGHI in 1991.

Mr. Spence has been Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the Company since August 2004. From the date of the Merger until August 2004, Mr. Spence served in several leadership positions in the Company’s Legal Services group, and from April 1998 until the Merger, in SPC’s Legal Services Group. Mr. Spence joined SPC in April 1998, upon SPC’s merger with USF&G Corporation, where he had served as legal counsel.

Maria Olivo is Executive Vice President, Market Development. Ms. Olivo joined Travelers Property Casualty Corp. in June 2002 as Executive Vice President, Business and Corporate Development and Investor Relations. Since the April 2004 merger of The St. Paul Companies Inc. and Travelers Property Casualty Corp., Ms. Olivo has been involved in several functions, including Investor Relations and Financial Planning & Analysis, Enterprise Marketing and Corporate Communications. Ms. Olivo, a certified financial analyst, joined Travelers from Swiss Re Capital Partners where she was deputy head of Strategic Investments from April 2000 to June 2002. Prior to that, she was a director in Salomon Smith Barney’s Investment Bank where she worked on numerous initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and public debt offerings.

Mr. Liss is Executive Vice President of Strategic Development at Travelers. Before the merger of The St. Paul and Travelers, Mr. Liss was Executive Vice President of Business Development at The St. Paul and had been since he joined the Company in February of 2003. Prior to joining The St. Paul, Mr. Liss was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1994 to 2001, serving in a Senior Investment Banking relationship, advisory and execution role in CSFB's Financial Institutions Group, including leadership of its asset management industry practice. Prior to that, Mr. Liss was a Senior Analyst at Salomon Brothers from 1980 to 1994.

Mr. Furman is Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary at Travelers. He joined Travelers in 2007 as Senior Vice President and Group General Counsel – Corporate and Governance, and continues in that role. He oversees all corporate and governance matters, including public company reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC and NYSE compliance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Before joining Travelers, he was Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and in private practice with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He holds a law degree from Harvard Law School.

Mr. Toczydlowski is Senior Vice President of Personal Insurance. Since joining Travelers in 1990, Mr. Toczydlowski has held various positions in Personal Insurance, including responsibilities within systems, finance, underwriting, product, marketing and business development. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer for the independent agency distribution channel within Personal Insurance. More recently, he led Personal Insurance’s product management organization, and in February 2007, he was named Chief Operating Officer of Personal Insurance, where he leads Personal Insurance Field Sales and Marketing, Product Management, Operations and Business Technology. Mr. Toczydlowski also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Institute for Business & Home Safety, the Motor Vehicle Indemnity Corp. and the United Way of Central and NE Connecticut.

Mr. Beller is a partner, based in the New York City office, of the law firm of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP (‘‘Cleary’’). His practice focuses on a wide variety of complex securities, corporate governance and corporate matters. Mr. Beller joined Cleary in 1976, became a partner in 1984 and returned to Cleary in August 2006 after serving as the Director of the Division of Corporation Finance of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as Senior Counselor to the Commission from January 2002 until February 2006. Mr. Beller is a member of the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Ms. McGarvie is Chief Executive Officer of LIF Group, a firm offering a global perspective for clients seeking profitable growth and providing leadership seminars for corporate and academic groups. She specializes in delivering keynote speeches and moderating company and association meetings. She is the author of two books: Shaking the Globe: Courageous Decision-Making in a Changing World and Fit In, Stand Out: Mastering the FISO Factor for Leadership Effectiveness in Business and Life. Prior to founding her firm in 2003, Ms. McGarvie was executive vice president and chief financial officer of BIC Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of convenient disposable products. Ms. McGarvie served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hannaford Bros. Co., a food retailer, from 1994-1999.

Mr. Clarke is Vice Chairman of Travelers. Before the merger of The St. Paul and Travelers, Mr. Clarke was President of TIGHI and just prior to December 18, 2001 was Chairman and CEO of TIGHI. Mr. Clarke was President from January 2001 to October 2001. Prior to that time he had been Vice Chairman from January 1998 to January 2001. Mr. Clarke had been Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Lines from January 1996 to January 1998 and was Chairman of Commercial Lines from 1990 to January 1996. He has held other executive and management positions with the Company for many years, and he has been with the Company since 1958.

Mr. Killingsworth has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Inc. since January 1, 2008. He served as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer from July 2005 through December 2007. He joined the company in February 2004 as President and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Mr. Killingsworth served the Henry Ford Health System as Senior Vice President of Insurance and Managed Care, as well as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Health Alliance Plan. He joined Henry Ford Health Systems in January 1998 after holding senior management positions with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan; Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rochester, NY; Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound; The American Hospital Association and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Killingsworth is currently a faculty member of the Harvard School of Public Health and serves on the Harvard Medical Board of Fellows. In addition, Mr. Killingsworth is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of The MITRE Corporation and the Board of Overseers of the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America (TIAA) and the College Retirement Equities Fund (CREF).

Mr. Dasburg has been Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of ASTAR Air Cargo, Inc., an air freight service company, since April 2003. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Burger King Corporation from April 2001 through January 2003 and as Chairman of Burger King from April 2001 to March 2003. Mr. Dasburg served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Airlines from 1989 through March 2001. From 1980 to 1989 he held a number of positions at Marriott Corporation, including President of The Lodging Group, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Real Estate Officer. From 1973 to 1980, Mr. Dasburg was employed by KPMG Peat Marwick, serving as a Tax Partner from 1978 to 1980. Mr. Dasburg is a director of Mercy Hospital and Mercy Foundation and a member of the Board of Governors of the Florida State University System.

Ms. Thomsen joined New Profit, Inc., a venture philanthropy firm, as an Executive Partner in September 2006. She served on the board of New Profit from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, she was a co-founding General Partner of Prism Venture Partners, a venture capital firm investing in healthcare and technology companies. Laurie was employed at Prism from 1995 until she retired from the firm in June 2004. From 1984 until 1995, she worked at the venture capital firm Harbourvest Partners in Boston, where she was a General Partner from 1988 until 1995. Ms. Thomsen was in commercial lending at U.S. Trust Company of New York from 1979 until 1984. Ms. Thomsen is a director of KickStart International and a trustee of Williams College.

Mr. Lipp assumed his current responsibilities as a Senior Advisor with Brysam Global Partners, a private equity firm, in October 2008. From September 2005 to September 2008 Mr. Lipp served as a Senior Advisor and director for JPMorgan Chase & Co. Mr. Lipp retired as the Chairman of Travelers in September 2005. He had served as the Company's Chairman since April 2004. Before April 2004, Mr. Lipp was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Travelers since December 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Lipp held various senior executive positions at Citigroup and Travelers and their predecessor companies since 1986, retiring in 2001 as Vice Chairman of Citigroup and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of its Global Consumer Business. Prior to 1986, Mr. Lipp spent 23 years with Chemical Bank, where he rose to the positions of President and Director. Mr. Lipp is a director of the New York City Ballet and a trustee of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.
