Echo Therapeutics Inc.

Mr. Mitchell joined Sontra Medical Corporation (now Echo) in January 2007 and served as Sontra's Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer through its merger with ETI. Mr. Mitchell also served in several key executive roles as a consultant to Sontra prior to January 2007. Prior to joining Sontra, Mr. Mitchell served as President and Chief Executive Officer of MedTech Advances, Inc., a privately-held diabetes medical device company, Executive Vice President and a director of Boston Medical Technologies, Inc., a privately-held diabetes medical device company, and as a financial and management consultant to several other public and private companies. Mr. Mitchell is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Dr. Langer has served as a scientific consultant and director since June 2002. Dr. Langer is currently the Chairman of the Company s Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Langer is a co-founder of Sontra Medical, Inc. Since 1979, Dr. Langer has been Germeshausen Professor of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Langer is also currently a director of Momenta Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biotechnology company developing drugs based on sugar sequencing technology, Boston Life Sciences, Inc., a company focused on research and development of therapeutic and diagnostic products, and Wyeth, a pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare products company. Dr. Langer received his B.S. from Cornell University in 1970 and his Ph.D. from MIT in 1974, both in chemical engineering.

Dr. Amaral is the VP of Surgical Technologies in the Corporate Office of Science and Technology at Johnson & Johnson. He is the former President & CEO of Rhode Island Hospital. Before taking leadership of Rhode Island Hospital in 2000, Dr. Amaral trained as a resident, practiced surgery, and eventually became Chief of Surgery for the hospital. He has oversaw a $350 million capital renovation project, information services improvements, and stewarded the hospital from a $30 million loss in 2000 to a 4% profit in 2005. An innovator in minimally invasive surgical techniques and technologies, he was the co-developer of ultrasonically activated cutting Harmonic Scalpel currently sold worldwide by Johnson & Johnson. Currently he is a director of Sontra Medical (NASDAQ: SONT) and has served on the advisory boards of Davol, US Surgical, Stryker Endoscopy, Hereous Laser, Axya, and J&J Ethicon Endo-Surgery. Dr. Amaral received a BA from Providence College and MD from Brown Medical School.

Shawn K. Singh, J.D., President, serves as Chief Business Officer and General Counsel of Cato Research, as Managing Principal of Cato Venture Group, as Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel and Director of VistaGen Therapeutics, Inc., and as and member of the business advisory board of Investigen. Prior to joining CATO, Mr. Singh served as Chief Business Officer of SciClone Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: SCLN), as a founder of Start-up-Law, President of Artemis Neuroscience (acquired by VistaGen Therapeutics, Inc. in 2003), as a Corporate Finance Associate in the Silicon Valley offices of Morrison & Foerster, an international Law firm. Mr. Singh is a member of the State Bar of California.
