Dish Network is a provider of satellite delivered digital television to customers across the U.S. Co.'s DISH Network services includes a range of video, audio and data channels, interactive television channels, digital video recording, high definition television, international programming, installation, as well as customer service. As of Dec 31 2007, Co.'s DISH Network had approximately 13.8 million subscribers. In addition to its owned satellites, at Dec 31 2007, Co. leased six in-orbit satellites which were being used to provide standard and high definition programming to certain local markets, international programming and backup capacity.
