Prior to joining Ecolab in 2005, Mr. White was employed by International Multifoods, and served as President of its U.S. Consumer Products Division. Mr. White’s employment also includes marketing experience at General Mills, and nine years at the Pillsbury Company in a succession of management positions.

Prior to joining Ecolab in 2008, Dr. Berger spent 22 years with E.I. duPont de Nemours and Company, most recently as Chief Technical Officer for DuPont Nonwovens.

Susan Nestegard is Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of Ecolab Inc., the world's leading provider of cleaning, food safety and health protection products and services. As Chief Technical Officer, Nestegard is responsible for leading the global Research, Development & Engineering organization. Combining a deep understanding of customer problems with technology leadership, Ecolab RD&E takes an innovative systems approach to deliver superior solutions. The technical service team provides training and expertise that ensures Ecolab's customers receive consistent, highly effective results. Prior to joining Ecolab in 2003, Nestegard was with 3M Co. for more than 20 years with responsibilities for product and process development, project leadership, technical management and business management. Most recent positions included Business Director for 3M Optical Components, Technical Director for 3M Electronic Products Division in Austin, Texas, and Technical Director for 3M Engineering Systems Technology Center in St. Paul, Minn. Nestegard is on the Board of Directors for the Soap & Detergent Association, the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of the Science Museum of Minnesota, and the Board of Directors and Governance Committee for the James Sewell Ballet. She is a member of the Women's Foodservice Forum and serves on the Board Readiness Committee. Nestegard received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters of Materials Science Engineering from the University of Minnesota. She has been awarded 26 U.S. patents.

Prior to joining Ecolab in 2008, Mr. Meyer was employed for 24 years by Abbott Laboratories, most recently as Vice President Vascular Business Latin America and Canada. Mr. Meyer’s management and executive experience includes 22 years in Human Resources and assignments in Canada and Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Ecolab in 2004, Mr. Gifford served as Vice President, World Logistics and Program Manager of Hewlett Packard Corporation for three years. Prior to Hewlett Packard, Mr. Gifford was employed by Compaq and Tandem.

Ron Heagle has an extensive background in the food service and hospitality industry as a Senior Vice President for EcoLab. During his tenure the company sales grew 10 fold. In later years he established a similar business directing the Molson/Diversy marketing operations. Mr. Heagle has developed several patents in refrigeration controls and has launched a company specializing in mold and allergen control, energy management, and indoor air quality.

Having served 10 years with Ecolab, Halit brings with him an education from the Saint Joseph French High School, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.

Doug Hlavacek is the Lean Six Sigma Training Director at Ecolab, a global leader of cleaning, sanitation and service solutions for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets. Doug joined Ecolab in 2000 and leads the development, coordination, implementation and improvement of Ecolab's enterprise-wide Lean Six Sigma training process. Prior to Ecolab, Doug worked at 3M, Imation and Kraft General Foods in various consulting, training, and project leadership capacities. Doug has received excellence, quality and divisional awards for his use of statistical methods. These efforts have helped to accelerate the development of new products, reduce product variation through increased process understanding, and successfully defend against a lawsuit by providing objective evidence to refute a competitor's claim. Doug received his MS in Statistics from Virginia Tech (1979) and BA in Mathematics from Rutgers University (1977). His primary areas of interest are in statistical education, experimental design, graphical display and statistical process control. Doug is a member of ASA, Senior member of ASQ, past Secretary of the Statistics Division and has been a Certified Quality Engineer since 1988.

Jeff is Director of Government Relations for Ecolab, and is responsible for direct lobbying at the federal level, policy development on issues, and administration of their federal political action committee. He has been with Ecolab since 1979. Jeff has been a member of numerous trade associations, and has been the lead Deputy to the Minnesota Business Partnership on behalf of Ecolab. He is a Board member of the History Theater, a volunteer a Humboldt High School in Saint Paul, and one of the most active Citizens League event attendees in the last two years. Jeff has helped to organize two recent Pizza and Politics conversations at Ecolab, and is interested in helping to recruit and engage additional corporate members.

Stephan Longthe Kieu was born in Saigon. His mother was a pharmacist and owned a pharmacy; his father was a math teacher and doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Stephan was enrolled in the National Music Conservatory from 1972-1979. He is the oldest of 5 siblings. In 1979, at the age of 16, he escaped succesfully from the communist regime and fled for freedom with 45 other people on a small fishing boat. Out of water, food, and fuel, the boat was rescued by a World Vision ship and resettled in the USA as refugees. Stephan joined his aunt and uncle's family in Fridley, MN, finished high school, and put himself through the U of MN studying computer science. He has been working in the Information Technology field since 1986. Stephan currently resides in Minneapolis and works as a Technical Consultant at Ecolab Inc. When not working, Stephan enjoys active travel, cooking & entertaining friends. From time to time, he enjoys a competitive game of squash or attending performing arts events with his spouse, Julie.

Barbara J. Beck is President of Manpower's EMEA operations, a position she has held since January 2006. The EMEA region is the largest business unit within Manpower, generating over $8 billion in revenues (39% of total corporate revenues) with 11,000 employees across 30 countries. Barbara holds full profit and loss responsibility for Europe (excluding France), the Middle East and Africa. Under her expert leadership, EMEA revenues have increased by 50%, and she has achieved an increase in profits of 150%. This is particularly notable in view of the current marketplace challenge – staying ahead of Europe's escalating shortage of workers. To achieve this growth, Barbara took a collaborative approach to business, working with organizations across the public and private sectors, including European academics and government leaders, to address these workforce issues. Prior to her appointment as President of Manpower EMEA, Barbara spent three years as Executive Vice President of U.S and Canada. From 2002 to 2005, she held responsibility for operating over 1,100 field offices employing over half a million employees. In this post, Barbara achieved a 140% growth in profits for the region. Barbara champions the role of women in business. She believes that the culture often instilled by women leaders can have a profound impact on organizations growth. In recognition of this, Pink Magazine awarded her as one of the "Top 15 Women in Business" for Innovations that "turn ideas into earnings". She was also recently recognized at the European Business Awards 2008, at which she was awarded the Ruban d'Honneur "Business Leader of the Year". Barbara also recently bcame an advisory board member of the Cherie Blair Foundation and was recognized by the Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin as helping to advance the status of women in the public and private sectors in the State. As a recognized expert on the impact of employment trends on global economies, Barbara features regularly as a speaker at numerous economic forums, including the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos. She is included on the World Economic Forum's Women Leaders Programme, which is dedicated to advancing women globally, and is a member of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government's Women's Leadership Board. Barbara has a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Colorado, Boulder and has completed executive leadership programs at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France; the University of Chicago and the Yale School of Management.

Mr. Levin is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of JW Levin Partners LLC, a firm that specializes in the rebuilding of branded consumer product and service companies. On September 26, 2006, Mr. Levin was appointed by the Sharper Image Board of Directors, which he has been a director of since July 6, 2006, to act as Chairman and interim Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Levin is a seasoned CEO with significant turnaround experience. He has been growing the sales and profits of branded consumer products companies for the past 30 years via internal product development programs, restructurings, acquisitions, and cultural improvements. Previously, Mr. Levin served as chairman and chief executive officer of American Household, Inc., formerly named Sunbeam.
