Neil Fiske was named Chief Executive Officer in June 2007. From 2003 – 2007, Mr. Fiske served as Chief Executive Officer of Bath and Body Works, a division of Limited Brands. Prior to Limited Brands, Mr. Fiske spent fourteen years (1989 – 2003) at Boston Consulting Group focused on the Consumer Goods and Retail sector. He was recognized as "Marketer of the Year" and "Retailer of the Year" in 2004 and 2005 by Women's Wear Daily. He is the author of "Trading Up: The New American Luxury". Mr. Fiske received his Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from Williams College.
David Taylor was named interim Chief Financial Officer of Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc. in January 2006 and interim Treasurer in February 2006. Mr. Taylor is a Senior Managing Director with FTI Palladium Partners, a firm specializing in providing interim management services. Prior to joining FTI Palladium Partners, from 2002 to 2005, Mr. Taylor served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Guilford Mills, Inc. and from 1999 to 2001, he served as Senior Vice President-Finance of Heafner Tire Group (now known as American Tire Distributors). Kathleen Boyer was named Senior Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer of Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc. in June 2005. Mr. Toland, 46, is a veteran financial officer with a strong operating orientation and experience in the apparel industry. He brings over 20 years of financial leadership experience, joining Eddie Bauer from London Fog Group, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for the finance, accounting, systems, legal and customer service functions. Prior to joining London Fog in 1999, Mr. Toland was Chief Financial Officer of Brooks Sports, Inc. and previously held a variety of finance-related positions with Exxon Corporation. Over the course of his career, he has demonstrated an outstanding ability to successfully manage complex financial situations and lower costs. Given his background, Mr. Toland will play a key role in both financial and operational strategies at Eddie Bauer including various cost reduction initiatives in 2008.
Tom Helton was named Chief Human Resources Officer of Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc. in July 2007. From 2005 – 2007, Mr. Helton was Head, Organization Effectiveness and Human Resources at Sampoerna Strategic and from 2001 – 2005 Mr Helton served in the same role for HM Sampoerna, an international consumer goods company based in Southeast Asia. From 1998 – 2001, he was Executive Vice President, Organization Development and Human Resources at United Stationers in Chicago. Mr. Helton has also held various human resource and labor relations roles at Whirlpool Corporation and Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation. Mr. Hall, 47, is a retail executive with 22 years of experience in sourcing, design, product development, manufacturing, technical design and quality assurance. Kimberly Berg is Senior Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer of Eddie Bauer; she has held this position since February 2008. Previously, Ms. Berg was Vice President and General Merchandising Manager for the Company's retail division, a position she held from March 2006. Mr. Brouillard became a member of our Board in May 2004 and was appointed Lead Director on February 14, 2007. Mr. Brouillard served as interim Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer from May 2007 until January 2008. Mr. Brouillard retired as Chief Administrative and Financial Officer of H.E. Butt Grocery Company in June 2005, a position that he had held since February 1991. From 1977 to 1991, Mr. Brouillard held various positions with Hills Department Stores, including serving as President of that company. Mr. Brouillard serves as a director of Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc.
Kenneth M. Reiss spent his professional accounting career with Ernst & Young,
LLP until he retired in June 2003. While at Ernst & Young he served as Managing
Partner for the Assurance and Advisory Practice (AABS) for E&Y’s New York
Office. He also served as the National Director of AABS for the Retail and
Consumer Products Industry, National Director of the Media and Entertainment
Practice, Chair of the firm’s Service Delivery Committee and Member of the
Multi-National Partners Group.
Ken also served as Coordinating Partner on significant global clients, including
Staples, Inc., Toys “R” Us, Inc., Grey Global Group, Columbia Pictures and
Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation. In this capacity as Coordinating Partner on
global accounts, Ken has led teams of up to 100 partners and over 500
engagement personnel.
He currently serves as a director and audit committee chairman of Eddie Bauer
Holdings, Inc and The Wet Seal, Inc. Mr. Reiss received a Bachelor of Arts
degree in 1964 from Bates College and an MBA from Rutgers School of
Business in 1965.
