Prior to that, he was executive vice president and chief operating officer of E.I. Du Pont de Nemours and Company, where he previously held a number of senior leadership positions, including chief financial officer. Allissa is a certified English teacher with more than six years of teaching experience. She has taught middle and high school English and has five years experience working at the post-secondary level as an ESL freshman composition tutor. In this capacity, she assisted students with improving writing style and mastering English usage and mechanics. In 2004, she spent a year in Mexico where she taught English as a second language to students of all ages and developed her skills as a Spanish speaker. Allissa also works for Educational Testing Service as a trained rater for the writing portion of the Test of English as a Foreign Language, offering her insight into standardized essay assessment. As a master tutor with Score at the Top, Allissa provides expert tutoring in English, ESOL, Spanish, and several other subjects. She serves as both mentor and academic coach for students who need support in the areas of study skills, organization skills, and time management. In addition to training new tutors to prepare students for standardized entrance exams highlighted by the SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, SSAT, and ISEE Allissa is one of our most sought-after tutors for these tests. She continually updates our curricula for standardized tests and study skills. As an educational consultant, Allissa helps alleviate the stress of the college and boarding-school application process by effectively guiding students though their applications and essays. Under her guidance, students get an "edge" in the application process as they learn how to distinguish themselves from their peers and effectively present themselves on their applications. Allissa's high-energy, enthusiastic approach to teaching and guidance ensures that her students gain not only valuable college-preparatory skills, but positive life-long habits as well.
Carole Kennedy, M.A., is Director of Professional Development for the Missouri Council of School Administrators and formerly Regional Coordinator of the Educational Testing Service. She worked for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in Arlington, Virginia, and was the National Principal in Residence under President Clinton, with the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, DC. Kennedy has extensive teaching and administration experience including over twenty years as an elementary and middle school teacher and nearly ten years as a principal in Columbia and Grandview, Missouri. She serves on the Alliance for Education Excellence Principal Advisory Committee, was President of the National Association of Elementary School Principals, and was a member of the National Assessment Governing Board (NAEP). Kennedy has garnered many professional honors including Missouri's National Distinguished Principal, Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals Outstanding Service Award, Missouri Leadership Academy Outstanding Achievement Award and Truman State University Honored Alumna, among many others. Kennedy earned a B.S. degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, a M.A. degree from Truman State University, Kirksville, an Ed. Specialist degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Felipe M. Floresca serves as a Senior Consultant with the Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Charles D. Smith, Jr. Foundation. He serves as an at-large consultant with the National Basketball Association Players Association. Felipe served the Clinton Administration as Chief of Staff for Policy at the United States Department of Labor and Senior Advisor at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. He was a member of several White House Domestic Policy Council working groups. Felipe formerly held the position of Executive Director of the San Francisco Housing Authority. He has served Senator Ted Kennedy, former New York City Mayor Ed Koch and former New York Governor Mario Cuomo in various policy and legislative posts in the area of housing and community development. He has been a registered lobbyist representing the Whitman Corporation and the Business Roundtable. He received his formal education at Brown University, The Harvard/Antioch Policy Center and Fordham University. He received past fellowships from the Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation and Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation. He was a member of the visiting faculty at the Robert J. Milano Graduate School of Management and Urban Policy, New School University and served as a visiting instructor at Brown University. Felipe has served on several boards including The Community Fellows of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Educational Testing Service, Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation and Project Avary. He presently serves as a member of the San Francisco-Manila Sister City Committee and trustee of the National Association of Filipino-American Associations.

Heather works at the Educational Testing Service as a test developer. She has three border collies and shares a small flock of sheep in central New Jersey, and she spends much of her spare time as a web site hobby designer (she did the original design for All About Border Collies and also maintains the popular Littlehats.net , a site created to help novices learn about USBCHA-style sheepdog trials.)
John Fremer has 40 years of experience in the field of test publishing and test program development and revision, including management level positions at Educational Testing Service and The Psychological Corporation/Harcourt. In his 35-year career at Educational Testing Service, Fremer led the ETS component of the team that carried out a major revision of the SAT. Fremer also served as Director of Exercise Development for the National Assessment of Educational Progress, and was Director of Test Development for School, Professional, and Higher Education Programs. During 2000-2003, Fremer designed and delivered measurement training programs to international audiences for the ETS Global Institute. Fremer is a Past President of the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME) and a former editor of the NCME journal Educational Measurement: Issues and Practice. Fremer also served as President of the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) and the Association for Assessment in Counseling (AAC). He was co-chair of the Joint Committee on Testing Practices (JCTP) and of the JCTP work group that developed the testing-industry-wide Code of Fair Testing Practices in Education; one of the most frequently cited documents in the field of educational measurement. Fremer is a co-editor of Computer-Based Testing: Building the Foundations for Future Assessments, (2002, Erlbaum.) and author of "Why use tests and assessments?" in the 2004 book, Measuring Up: Assessment Issues for Teachers, Counselors, and Administrators. Fremer has been a frequent presenter and writer on issues related to test development, testing standards, training measurement professionals, communicating about testing to various audiences, developing state and national testing programs, trends in testing, and test security. John has a B.A. from Brooklyn College, City University of New York, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude, and a Ph.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University, where he studied with Robert L. Thorndike and Walter MacGinitie.

Lew Shumaker is a Senior Strategic Workforce Consultant at Educational Testing Service. He leads ETS's Strategic Diversity Initiative which involves three key components: professional and career development of employees, an inclusive and respectful work environment, and strategic staffing. Prior to joining ETS in 2001, he held a variety of supervisory, consultant and management positions during a 36-year career in DuPont's global business. During his last six years with DuPont, Lew's primary responsibilities were professional staffing and college relations with a heavy focus on diversity and inclusion. Lew has served several 3-year terms on GEM's Executive Committee and has been a chair of GEM's Fellowship Selection Committee for over 10 years. He has also served 12 years on the Management Advisory Committee for the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME) and was an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers' Board of Corporate Affiliates, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers' Industrial Partnership Counsel, and the Industrial Advisory Boards of Minority Engineering Programs at Cornell University, Michigan State University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Purdue University.

The current president of The Pennsylvania Society is Arthur J. Rothkopf. Now in his first year of a two-year term, Mr. Rothkopf is Senior Vice President and Counselor to the President of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, with special responsibilities in education and workforce development. From 1993 until 2005, he was the President of Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. There, under Mr. Rothkopf's guidance, more than $250 million in new construction was completed and the college's endowment more than doubled. Prior to his tenure at Lafayette, he was appointed Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation by President George H.W. Bush. He serves as a member of the Commission on the Future of Higher Education, as well as a member of the Board of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Arthur J. Rothkopf graduated from Lafayette College and earned his law degree from Harvard University.

Dan Hamel is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of successful experience in counseling, teaching, research, consulting, and management in a variety of applied settings. He earned his baccalaureate degree in psychology with honors from Harvard University in 1973, an M.A. in Counseling from the University of Montana in 1975, and the Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Stanford University in 1980. Prior to managing the San Antonio office of Reedie and Co. (a career transition consulting firm) for seven years, Dan was in private practice and conducted research and test development as a Project Director for The Psychological Corporation. He previously was the Director of the Counseling Center and an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Trinity University, and has also served as a project consultant to the National Institute of Education, Army Research Institute, U.S. Office of Education, The College Board, and Educational Testing Service. Prior to joining the faculty at Trinity, he held clinical and administrative appointments at the Harvard Business School and was a staff counselor and psychometrist at Stanford University's Counseling and Psychological Services. Dr. Hamel has published broadly in the field of career development, contributing articles to scholarly journals and Wall Street Journal publications. He has also written several book chapters and is coeditor of "Assessing Career Development" with John Krumboltz of Stanford University. Dan is widely recognized for his expertise and innovations in the creation, delivery, and administration of career development programs and services. His current practice interests include executive selection, individualized leadership training for high talent/high potential managers, comprehensive developmental assessments for organizational succession planning, and career transition reviews with senior executives. Recently, he has been retained by several major Texas employers to help them address critical employee retention issues. In particular, Dan has conducted intensive leadership coaching assignments with very senior level executives to help them prepare for new assignments, lead major change initiatives, or avoid the imminent prospect of derailment. He also continues to help clients manage complex workforce issues, including redeployment of key personnel and staff reductions necessitated by a rapidly changing business climate.
