Edward Jones

NORMAN L. EAKER is General Partner of Edward Jones. He is responsible for Global Operations in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. He previously held the positions of Director of Internal Audit, Head of Mortgage Operations and held various leadership roles within Operations. Prior to joining Edward Jones, Mr. Eaker worked as a Certified Public Accountant for Peat, Marwick & Mitchell & Co. from 1978 through 1981. He is a member of the SIA Operations Committee, and a former member of the Chicago Stock Exchange Board of Governors.

Robert L. Virgil has been a partner in the retail investment firm of Edward Jones since 1993. He is responsible for management development. Virgil was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on August 26, 1934. He received the B.A. from Beloit College in 1956. Following two years in the U.S. Army, he entered Washington University where he received the MEA in 1960 and the DBA in 1967. From 1960-1993, Virgil was a faculty member in accounting of the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University. He was dean of the Olin School from 1977-1993, and he served as Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs from 1974-75 and Executive Vice Chancellor for University Relations from 1992-93. At various times he was on leave to be a faculty resident with Arthur Andersen & Co., and a visiting professor at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and the Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. Virgil is dean emeritus of the John M. Olin School of Business and professor emeritus of Accounting. Virgil is a trustee of Washington University. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank from 1983-89 and its chair from 1988-89. He is a member of the St. Louis Coalition for Plant and Life Sciences.

Daniel A. Burkhardt is a Managing Director of Oakwood Medical Investors. From 1980 to 2005, Mr. Burkhardt was a general partner of The Jones Financial Companies, L.L.L.P., the parent company of Edward D. Jones & Co., L.P., where he specialized in investment banking and structuring investments. In addition to his involvement with the previous Oakwood funds. Mr. Burkhardt served as President, Treasurer and Director of CIP Management, Inc. and as general partner of CIP Management, L.P., LLLP for over 16 years, retiring from such positions in 2006. Mr. Burkhardt also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, a premier plant genomics research center based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Doug began his brokerage career as a financial advisor for Edward Jones in 1994. After gaining more than a decade of experience with several high-profile investment firms, Doug joined Tannery & Company Wealth Management in 2006 as a way to provide comprehensive wealth management strategies in a highly personalized environment. He maintains the Series 6, Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 through Linsco/Private Ledger (LPL). Raised in Orange, Texas, Doug is a graduate of Texas State University where he earned a B.A. Degree in Political Science and was an active member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Doug married his wife, Jacy, in May 2005, and the couple lives in North Dallas. An avid sailor, Doug spends weekends sailing on Lake Texoma with Jacy and their dog, Skipper. He enjoys reading, traveling and staying informed on news and current events.

Jennifer Mathews jmathews@infamouscommonwealth.org currently serves as Director of Press Relations for ICT and is thrilled to be a staff member of Infamous Commonwealth Theatre after long being a fan of their work. Born and raised in the farmlands of northern Indiana, she received her B.A. in Theatre and Drama from Indiana University and met a cute boy to boot. After following said boy to St. Louis, she appeared in such shows as Dancing At Lughnasa (Chris), Hippolytus (Phaedra), Never In My Lifetime (Wife) and Baby With The Bathwater. Her Chicago credits include My Thing of Love (Elly), The Kentucky Cycle (Mary Anne/Joleen) and Betty's Summer Vacation (Mrs. Seizmagraff) with ICT; Stone Cold Dead Serious (Linda/Snake Lady) with Circle Theatre; Sylvia (Kate), Vieux Carre (Mrs. Wire) and The Memory Of Water (Mary) with Will Act For Food; 7 Blowjobs (Eileen) and Calgony Springs (Jean) with Hi-Volt Theatre Company; and Titanic (Victoria) with Open Eye Productions. Jen also works as the Marketing and Public Relations Manager for the great folks at Vittum Theater, and if you listen closely, you can even hear her voice on radio and TV commercials from time to time. But her proudest achievement is beautiful daughter Emma Bloom, co-produced with her amazingly fabulous husband (a.k.a. cute college boy) Christopher.

John C. Dickerson III is an Investment Representative with Edward Jones in Bay City. He is a founding member of the Tributary League, which supports the Colorado River Foundation. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and South Texas College of Law, Dickerson served as Matagorda County attorney from 1985 to 1993. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a Past President of the Matagorda County Bar Association. Dickerson also has been active with the Bay City Chamber of Commerce and the Bay City Lions Club. Gov. Rick Perry appointed him to the Board in 2004 for a term that expires in 2009.

Kevin Jordahl serves the following conferences as Regional Vice President: Gateway, Great Plains, Mid-America, North Central and Rocky Mountain. He also serves the following agencies: Central Christian College of Kansas, Deaconess Home Pregnancy and Adoption Services, Greenville College, Life Line Homes, Olive Branch Mission and Woodstock Christian Life Services. Kevin brings an investment background to his work as a Regional Vice President, most recently serving as an Investment Representative with M&I Bank and Edward Jones. Kevin is a graduate of Southern Illinois University (MBA) and Greenville College (BA).

Randy Johnston received his BA (Marketing and Distributive Education) degree from Central Washington University and serves as an investment representative with Edward Jones in East Wenatchee. Randy represents Eastmont School District and the southern portion of the Wenatchee School District.

District 1 Director: Larry Corbett, president, was first elected to the board in 1990. A rancher who lives near Dexter, Corbett is regional manager for Energy Devices, Inc. of Tyler, Texas. He also serves as a director of Brazos Electric Cooperative in Waco and the San Miguel G & T Electric Co-op as CCEC representative. District 2 Director: Wayne Mitchell lives at Lake Kiowa and became a director in 1987. Mitchell is an investment representative for Edward Jones in Gainesville. District 3 Director: David Flusche, vice president, joined the CCEC board in 1993. A Muenster native, he is president of Structures, Inc. and lives on a farm north of Muenster. Presently Flusche serves on the NCTC Board of Regents.
