Ashutosh Roy, eGain's co-founder, Chairman and CEO, has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of eGain since 1997. From 1995 through 1997, Mr. Roy served as Chairman of WhoWhere? Inc., an Internet-service company he co-founded. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Roy co-founded Parsec Technologies, an international call center software company based out of India. From 1988 through 1992, Mr. Roy worked in various software engineering positions at Digital Equipment Corp. Mr. Roy holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, a Masters degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Eric Smit, Chief Financial Officer, brings over 15 years of finance and operations experience to his position. Previously, he was with WhoWhere? Inc. as Director of Finance since 1996. Prior to WhoWhere?, he served as Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Velocity Inc., a software game publisher and developer. Prior positions held by Eric Smit included Controller for Reference Software International until its acquisition by WordPerfect Corp. Smit began his career in accounting at Laticorp, Inc. and Centennial Savings and Loan. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Rhodes University, South Africa.

Tom Hresko, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at eGain, brings over 20 years of experience developing and managing sales teams and increasing revenues for companies such as Primus, Corrigo, Network Associates, and Sprint. In his most recent position as VP of Worldwide Sales at Corrigo, Tom increased revenues by over 100% in the past year. As VP of Worldwide Sales for Primus Knowledge Solutions Inc., his sales efforts were instrumental in quadrupling Primus' market value in less than two years. At Network Associates, Magic CRM Division, as the VP of Worldwide Sales, he built a 100 person worldwide sales organization that delivered over $100 million in sales. Tom began his career in IT consulting at PriceWaterhouse Coopers, where he co-developed a systems security analysis methodology for seaports that was trademarked and used in engagements around the globe. He then held call center management and marketing leadership roles at Sprint. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in finance from the University of Michigan.

Anand Subramaniam brings 15 years of experience in leading high-tech companies to his position as the VP of Marketing for eGain. Prior to eGain, Anand served as the VP of marketing for Yube Inc., a provider of award-winning software for post-sales customer services automation. Previously, Anand was the VP of marketing for Informatica's Applications Business Unit, and also served as the director of CRM product strategy, director of worldwide CRM marketing and director of ebusiness marketing at Oracle. Additionally, he held product marketing, product management and technical marketing/support roles at Lotus, Intel and Autodesk for key products. Anand holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and MSME from the University of Rhode Island.

Andrew is responsible for managing and growing eGain European revenues and profitability, and leads his team across pre- and post-sales efforts, business development, professional services, and support. Andrew joined eGain through the acquisition of Inference Corp. in March 2000 where he held the position of UK Sales Director, overseeing consistent quarter on quarter growth for a period of two years. He has over seven years expertise in the sales, implementation, service, and support of knowledge-based customer service products. Previously, Andrew was a Business Development Manager at ICL (now Fujitsu) where he spent nine years in various sales and sales management roles.

Anurag is responsible for sales consulting and application hosting for eGain's North America customers. He brings over ten years of experience in software development and quality assurance having worked in R&D positions at Ansys Inc., NASA Langley Research Center and the Center for High Performance Computing at Cornell University. Anurag holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree from IIT, Delhi.

Mark Wolfson is a Founder of Oak Hill Investment Management and has been with Oak Hill for 14 years. During his tenure at Oak Hill, he has played key roles in the formation of Oak Hill Capital Partners, Oak Hill Strategic Partners, Oak Hill Platinum Partners and Oak Hill REIT Partners. Prior to that time, he served as Associate Dean and Dean Witter Professor of Accounting and Finance at the Stanford Business School, and also taught at the Harvard Business School and the University of Chicago. Mark earned a B.S. and an M.A.S. in accounting and finance from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.

David Brown is the Managing Partner of Oak Hill Venture Partners and a Vice President of Keystone, Inc. He leads Keystone's venture capital activities, including investments in 30 companies since 1998. He is also a general partner of Oak Hill Capital Partners (private equity investments), Oak Hill Securities (high yield trading), Oak Hill Strategic Partners (exchange fund) and Oak Hill Platinum Partners (hedge fund). Mr. Brown serves on the board of directors of Lattice Communications, MarketTools, Perfect Commerce, ProQuest, Sandial Systems, Sitara Networks and WideOpenWest. Prior to joining Keystone, Mr. Brown worked at Salomon Brothers where he was a Vice President in the Corporate Finance Department. Mr. Brown holds a B.A. degree from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration.

Ian's background is in consultancy, advising, and implementing decision-support systems using a variety of technologies, including case-based reasoning, constraint programming, and rule-based systems. Ian holds a BSc. Honours degree in Physics from Imperial College, an MSc in Computing Science, and an MBA. Before eGain, Ian worked at Inference Europe, Bull Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence Ltd, and A.E.R.E Harwell.

As the Chairman, Gunjan Sinha is responsible for leading the strategy and execution at MetricStream. Over his career, Gunjan has spent over 15 years in various entrepreneurial, board and executive positions developing, marketing and selling software and Internet services. As an internet pioneer, he was the co-founder and President of WhoWhere? Inc., a leading Internet directory services company acquired by Lycos in 1998 as well as eGain, an online customer service company which successfully served over 800 businesses around the world. Earlier in his career, Gunjan also co-founded Viman Software, Inc., a network license management company, and Parsec Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an international call center company based in India. Gunjan has served on the Board of several venture-backed technology companies. He obtained his BS and MS degrees in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, and UC Santa Cruz, respectively. He also holds an MS in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Stanford University. He was featured as one of the 50 most successful immigrant entrepreneurs in the US by Silicon India.
