Sam Gibbs has served as Senior Vice President since September 2000. Since November 2004, Mr. Gibbs has served as General Manager of the company's small business products and services business. Mr. Gibbs previously served as the General Manager of eHealth's technology licensing business and as General Manager of product management. Before that, Mr. Gibbs was a Vice President and General Manager for Rand Worldwide, an engineering services company. Prior to Rand, Mr. Gibbs was founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of AVCOM Systems, Inc., an engineering services and systems integration company. Under Mr. Gibbs' leadership, AVCOM grew to a $100 million enterprise before being acquired by Rand in 1997. Mr. Gibbs has also held engineering positions at Raytheon Aircraft and TRW Space Systems. Mr. Gibbs holds a B.S. degree in aeronautical engineering technology from Arizona State University.

Michael Goldberg has served as a director of Genomic Health since October 2001. In January 2005, Mr. Goldberg joined Mohr Davidow Ventures, a venture capital firm, as a general partner. From October 2000 to December 2004, Mr. Goldberg served as the Managing Director of Jasper Capital, a management and financial consultancy business. In 1995, Mr. Goldberg founded OnCare, Inc., an oncology practice management company, and served as Chairman until August 2001 and as Chief Executive Officer until March 1999. Previously, Mr. Goldberg was the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Axion Inc., a cancer-focused healthcare service company. Prior to Axion, Mr. Goldberg was a partner at the venture capital firm Sevin Rosen Funds, and was director of Corporate Development and a member of the Operating Committee at Cetus Corporation. He is also a director of several privately held companies. Mr. Goldberg holds a BA in Philosophy from Brandeis University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Chris is a founding partner of Lightspeed Venture Partners, focusing primarily on communications and storage investments. Selected investments include Brocade, Ciena, iPhotonics, LightLogic, and Premisys. He has 11 years of venture capital experience and four years of operating experience. Prior to joining Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners in 1991, Chris worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in corporate finance and capital markets roles. Chris began his career as a software engineer at IBM. He holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Gary Lauer has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since December 1999 and as Chairman of our Board of Directors since March 2002. Since Mr. Lauer joined the company, eHealth has become the leading online source of health insurance for individuals, families and small businesses. Prior to joining eHealth, Mr. Lauer was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MetaCreations Corporation. Prior to MetaCreations, Mr. Lauer spent more than nine years at Silicon Graphics, Inc., a computing technology company, where he was a member of the senior executive team that grew Silicon Graphics from approximately $100 million to $3.5 billion in revenue. Mr. Lauer started his career with IBM, where he held a variety of sales and marketing management positions. Mr. Lauer holds a B.S. degree in finance and marketing from the University of Southern California Business School.

Robert Hurley has served as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives since April 1999. Originally recruited to build the sales and sales-support functions, Mr. Hurley's responsibilities now include health savings accounts and public and government relations. Mr. Hurley has more than 16 years of experience and leadership in the health insurance industry. Prior to joining eHealth, Mr. Hurley served as Associate Vice President of Sales and Operations for the consumer business segment at Health Net, Inc., a managed health care company. At Health Net, Mr. Hurley directed all aspects of the consumer business segment, including product development, sales and marketing, sales support functions and broker relations and was instrumental in leading the development of the first generation of Web-based solutions for the unit. Mr. Hurley holds a B.A. degree in law and society from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
