Fred Ruegg completed a commercial apprenticeship with Sulzer Winterthur and then continued his education as Betriebsokonom HWV at the Hohere Wirtschafts-und Verwaltungsschule in Zurich. After his apprenticeship he continued to work for Sulzer, both in England and in Switzerland. From 1981 to 1985 he headed the Controlling and the IT department of Sulzer Inc., New York. In 1986 Fred Ruegg was entrusted with setting up Elma Electronic Inc. in Fremont USA and since than has been Manager of the company. In addition he launched Elma Bustronic Corp., Fremont USA in 1990.

Martin Wipfli studied in Berne and completed his studies in 1989, obtaining his license to practice law from the canton of Uri. From 1990 to 1995 he was employed as a tax consultant with an international consultancy agency. Following this he headed the tax department of a Swiss private bank and in fall 1997 he founded Baryon AG, which specializes in asset management, tax consultancy and business consulting. Martin Wipfli is Chairman of the Board of Nebag AG in Zurich and inter alia member of the Board of Directors of Frutiger AG in Berne and Rolf Bossard AG in Zurich.

David Schnell holds a degree in business administration. From 1985 to 1997 he was CFO and member of the Executive Management of ELCO Looser Holding AG, Zurich, from 1995 on also Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of Directors. From 1997 to 2002 he was CFO and member of the Executive Management of Swisscom AG, Berne. Since July 2002 he is an independent business consultant. David Schnell is amongst others a member of the Board of Directors of Kuoni Reisen Holding AG, member of the board of trustees of the Kuoni and Hugentobler Foundation, Zurich, chairman of the board of directors of Integrated Financial Business Consulting AG, Zurich, and member of the Board of Directors of AlpTransit Gotthard AG, Lucerne.

Gabriel Neagu studied Electronics at the Polytechnic University in Bucharest and was awarded a diploma in Business Administration from the Open University Business School of England in Bucharest. For ten years he was employed as an Electrical Engineer at a number of companies in the electronic components business. In 1997 he moved to become Managing Director of Eurostandard Press, one of the technical publishing houses specializing in the field of electronics and industrial automation. Whilst engaged with Eurostand Press he was active during the years 2000 to 2002 as Managing Director of Trion Company in Bucharest, a manufacturer of electronic equipment. Boris Micha trained as a Mechanical Engineer and completed a course at the Ecole Nationale d'Ingenieurs de Saint-Etienne and at the Ecole Centrale de Paris as DEA in "Management and Business Administration". He worked as a Process Engineer with Lemfoerder Mecacentre in Saint-Etienne and then as Sales Engineer for Trenew Electronic GmbH, which had been taken over by Elma in 2001. Since January 2001 Boris Micha has been in charge of Elma France.

Dr. Wissdorf completed a course in aerospace engineering at the Military University in Munich. He continued his education in the USA in Marketing. In 1992 to 2004 he worked in various positions in sales and marketing with national and international companies, ultimately as Director of Sales with Marconi Selenia Communications GmbH in Backnang. Since October 2004 Dr.Wissdorf has been Chairman of the Management Board of Elma Trenew Electronic GmbH.

Martin Blake studied Electronics and Electricity at the University of Bath and was awarded a doctorate as Eur. Ing., B.Sc.(Hons), C.Eng. MIET. After working for British Aerospace and Teradyne he moved in 1986 to Vero Electronics as Technical Director. After the takeover by APW he was appointed Managing Director of the Electronic Solutions Business and was then promoted to Global Technology Leader (VP Engineering) of APW Corporate. In 2001 he moved to Mektron Systems Ltd. as Sales Manager. Since October 2004 Martin Blake has been employed as Manager of Elma UK and since October 2005 of Mektron Systems.

Moshe Eisenkraft completed his training as a Mechanical Engineer BS in 1991 and continued his education in 2005 as a Master of Business Administration. From 1994 to 1997 he was employed as Product Manager with Rapac Electronics. In 1997 he established Printech Electronics in Petach-Tikva, where at the same time he acted as Manager. After the takeover of Printech by Elma in 2000 he became Manager of Elma Israel.

Helmut L.Clemm is Dipl.Ing. (High frequency and communications engineering) and Betriebswirt (VWA). Since joining Siemens in 1965 he has held several management positions. After the successful turn around of the telephone equipment business, of the high performance printers and of the IT major projects worldwide, from 1996 to 2000 he sat on the management board of Siemens Schweiz AG, Zurich. Rudolf Weber gained his qualification as Dipl. Ing. ETH from the ETH, Zurich and that of lic. oec. HSG from the University of St. Gallen. After working for Hayek Engineering and Geberit, from 1986 to 1996 Rudolf Weber was a member of the Corporate Executive Board of ELCO Looser AG, Zurich, where he held various marketing functions, and from 1996 to 2001 general manager of Hoval Heiztechnik.
