Rising quickly through the ranks, James was selected as assistant general manager of the company's Taiwan operations. His responsibilities included oversight of legal, distribution, and distributor support. After returning from Taiwan, James directed staff and systems throughout all of Asia and worked to ensure that every element was in place for the success that quickly followed, particularly in Mainland China. Sometime later he began looking for a new challenge, one that would bring not just satisfaction over a job well done, but also the fulfillment of knowing he was doing something that would make a difference to people. When he was introduced to GoYin by Daren and Brent, James immediately grasped their vision. He became a co-founder, adding another dimension of leadership to the company that is making TAM accessible to a waiting world.

Leslie is currently responsible for the management and operation of Elusys' research and development laboratories, participates on several product development teams and serves a key role in collaboration management. Leslie was formerly a Research Manager at Cistron Biotechnology, where she managed research projects, directed the in-house research team, and maintained the laboratory according to environmental regulations. Prior to that, she was a Senior Scientist at Cistron. Leslie received a BS in Biology from Cornell University and a PhD in Immunology from the University of California at Berkeley and was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship at the Harvard School of Public Health from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Debra brings nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare administration to the company. Debra currently manages Human Resources, IT and facilities. Previous work experiences have given her expertise in all aspects of the administrative management of a healthcare company. Prior to joining Elusys, Debra worked in international marketing at Boston Scientific Vascular, a medical device manufacturer. Her experience in the healthcare and medical fields also includes working in the customer service training area for Merck-Medco Managed Care, Inc., as well as administration for a pharmaceutical marketing firm and a hospice company in California. Debra also has earned her Professional Human Resource (PHR) certification.

Vincent joined Elusys in 2005 as Director of Project Management. A 20 year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry, Vincent comes to Elusys from Daiichi Medical Research where he spent eight years in various functions including Director of Project Management and Outsourcing and Senior Director of Global Finance. He has planned and managed all phases of clinical development programs in a variety of therapeutic areas including oncology, anti-infectives and anti-thrombotics. Vincent's business career began in basic research at Merck & Co., Inc., where he spent six years cloning G protein linked transmembrane receptors and the insulin dependent glucose transporter. Vincent also spent six years as a Director in Clinical and Regulatory Development at Merck where he helped establish an electronic regulatory submissions group and he managed the integration of separate domestic and international functions into global departments. Vincent holds a BA in Biochemistry from University of Massachusetts and an MBA in International Business from Babson College.

Bill assumed overall responsibility for Legg Mason's equity funds management group in late 1990. Prior to this, he co-managed the Legg Mason Value Trust with Ernie Kiehne since its inception in 1982. He was the Director of Research of Legg Mason from October 1981 through June 1985. He earned his economics degree from Washington and Lee University where he graduated with honors in 1972. Subsequent to graduation, he served as a Military Intelligence Officer overseas and then pursued graduate studies in philosophy in the Ph.D. program at The Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining Legg Mason in 1981, he served as Treasurer of the J.E. Baker Company, a major manufacturer of products for the steel and cement industries. Bill received his CFA designation in 1986. Bill currently serves as Chairman on the Board of Trustees of the Santa Fe Institute, one of the world's leading scientific research laboratories, which conducts multi-disciplinary research in complex systems theory.

Frank E. Young, M.D., Ph.D. has been a director since 2005. Dr. Young is a former Commissioner of the United States Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") and has had over a 40-year career in medicine, academia and government. After numerous academic appointments, Dr. Young served as Chairman of the Department of Microbiology and Professor of Microbiology, of Pathology, and of Radiation Biology and Biophysics at the University of Rochester, New York. Subsequently, he became Dean of the School of Medicine and Dentistry, Director of the Medical Center and Vice President for Health Affairs at the University of Rochester. Dr. Young joined the Department of Health and Human Services as Commissioner of the FDA and Assistant Surgeon General (Rear Admiral, USPHS) in 1984. Under Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and William J. Clinton, Dr. Young served as Commissioner of the FDA, Deputy Assistant Secretary and Director of the Office of Emergency Preparedness, Director of the National Disaster Medical System and as a member of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization (presidential appointee). Dr. Young currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Cosmos Alliance and is a partner of Essex Woodlands Health Ventures. In addition, Dr. Young currently serves on the board of Golden Pond Healthcare, publicly held special purpose acquisition company and the boards of the following private companies: Agennix, Inc. and Elusys Therapeutics, Inc. Dr. Young attended Union College and holds an M.D. degree from the University of the State of New York, Upstate Medical Center, where he graduated cum laude, and a Ph.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. R. Gordon Douglas, Jr. was President, Merck Vaccines, responsible for the research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of Merck's vaccine products until May, 1999. He grew the vaccine business from $300 million to $1.2 billion, launched four new products, invested heavily in manufacturing facilities, as well as R & D, and expanded the business globally. He currently serves as consultant to the Vaccine Research Center at the National Institutes of Health, and serves on boards of several biotech companies and non-profits interested in vaccine and world health. Prior to joining Merck in 1989, Dr. Douglas had a distinguished career as a physician and academician, specializing in infectious diseases. From 1982 to 1990, he was Professor of Medicine and Chairman, Department of Medicine, Cornell University Medical College and Physician-in-Chief, The New York Hospital. He also served as Head of Infectious Disease Unit at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Douglas has published more than 190 scientific papers and was co-editor, with Gerald L. Mandell and John E. Bennett, of the first three editions of the major textbook of infectious diseases, Principles and Practice of Infectious Diseases. Dr. Douglas is a graduate of Princeton University and Cornell University Medical College. He received his medical staff training at The New York Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine, the Assocation of Amercian Physicians, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and numerous other organizations.

Mr. Wolf, currently serves as one of the directors of Adeona. Mr. Wolf has substantial experience in creating, financing, nurturing and growing new ventures based upon breakthrough research and technology. Mr. Wolf is the founding partner of Seed-One Ventures, LLC, a venture capital group focused on seed-stage technology-based investments. Mr. Wolf has been a founder of Elusys Therapeutics, Inc., an antibody-based therapeutic company, Tyrx Pharma, Inc., a biopolymer-based company, Sensatex, Inc., a medical device company and Generation Mobile, Inc. a telecommunications company. Prior to founding Seed-One Ventures, Mr. Wolf served as the Managing Director of The Castle Group, Ltd., a biomedical venture capital firm. At both organizations, Mr. Wolf was responsible for supervising the formation and funding of new technology, biomedical, and service oriented ventures. Mr. Wolf currently sits on the board of Elusys Therapeutics and Netli, Inc. Mr. Wolf received his MBA from Stanford Business School, his JD from New York University School of Law and his BA with honors in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Martin P. Sutter is one of the two founding managing directors of Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, one of the oldest and largest healthcare focused venture capital firms with nearly $3 billion under management. Mr. Sutter has more than 30 years of management experience in operations, marketing, finance and venture capital. Mr. Sutter currently serves on the Board of Directors of BioForm Medical, LaJolla Pharmaceuticals, and LifeCell Corporation, which is in the process of being acquired by Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (KCI). He formerly sat on the Board of Confluent Surgical, which was acquired by Tyco International; Rinat Neuroscience, which was acquired by Pfizer Inc.; and St. Francis Medical Technologies, which was acquired by Kyphon, Inc. Mr. Sutter is also responsible for the partnership's investment in Spinal Concepts, which was acquired by Abbott Laboratories.

Dr. Taylor is presently a Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Virginia and the primary inventor of the Heteropolymer-mediated system to remove blood-borne pathogens. He has been actively engaged in research studies in the field of immunology, complement fixation, and autoimmune diseases for the past 20 years. Dr. Taylor received his BS in Chemistry from City College and his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Princeton University.
