Frederico has a degree in Aeromechanical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) and also holds an MBA degree from the University of São Paulo. On April 23, 2007, he was appointed President and CEO of Embraer by the Board of Directors.

A professional who has devoted over 30 years to Human Resources and Organizational functions, at least 20 years of which in managerial positions in large companies with distinguished corporate values and organizational culture – which he helped to establish – such as Odebrech and Embraer. Currently, he's the Executive Vice-President of Organizational and People Development of Embraer, and is responsible, in addition to Human Resources, for Organizational Development, Processes, Information Technology and Corporate Security.

Luiz Carlos Aguiar, 45 is economist with a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Rio Grande do Sul Federal University. Starting in 2003, Aguiar was PREVI’s Chief Investment Officer, responsible for USD 28 billion in assets and member of the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN). Between 2003 and 2005, he was appointed to represent PREVI (largest Pension Fund in Latin America) on the boards of some companies, including Embraer. During this period of time, he was member of the Finance Committee of CVRD (Companhia Vale do Rio Doce), Vice - Chairman of the Board of CPFL (São Paulo Power and Light Company) and a member of the Board of Directors of the SBCE (Brazilian Export Credit Insurance Company). During most of his career, he was employed by the Banco do Brasil, where he had the opportunity to plan and introduce major international operations. He worked at the New York branch and, later, international division in São Paulo in charge of Trade Finance Portfolio Management. In the end of 2005, he was appointed Executive Vice-President of Embraer responsible for worldwide Defense Market and Governmental Aviation products and systems’ marketing, sales and contract administration. Product development and product support engineering, as well as the management of serial and phased-out programs are also under his responsibilities. Since January 2009, Mr. Aguiar has taken a new position as Chief Financial Officer of Embraer, responsible for Financial Management, Economic/Financial Control, Tax/Fiscal and Strategic Planning, Controller’s Office, Accounting, Capital Markets and Investor Relations.

Artur Coutinho was promoted to Executive Vice President of Industrial Operations in March 2005. Coutinho began his career as Embraer’s Treatment and Stamping Division Manager in 1988. For the past 20 years in the company, he has been promoted to Training and Quality Manager, Production Director, Customer Service Director and Chairman of Embraer’s branch office in North America, returning in 2005 to Embraer São José dos Campos as Executive VP of the activities related to industrial operations, accumulating managerial positions in a few Embraer subsidiaries, such as Botucatu and ELEB. Prior to joining Embraer, Coutinho was the Director of Engex SA, specialized in transmission systems for vehicles and equipment for the prospection and exploration of oil, and the Production Director of Engesa - Engenheiros Especializados AS (Specialized Engineers). Coutinho has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from ITA ? Technological Institute of Aeronautics, and holds a Master’s degree in Management from INPE-Instituto de Pesquisas Espaciais (Institute of Space Research).

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at EEI (Escola de Engenharia Industrial de São José dos Campos), he attended specialization education in Operational Research at ITA (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica); a lawyer with a bachelor's degree in Law from UNIVAP (Universidade do Vale do Paraíba), he attended specialization education in Corporate Law at GVLaw (Fundação Getúlio Vargas). He has worked for more than 28 years for Embraer — Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica S.A (Aeronautics company), having taken on several positions during that time, mainly in the commercial and industrial areas. Director of Contracts for the Commercial Aviation Market for many years and the Sr. Vice President in the Commercial Airline Market from 2002 to 2005, he is currently the Executive Vice President & General Counsel for the Embraer Group and Secretary of Embraer's Board, the area in which he has worked since May 2005. He is also an officer or member of the board to several subsidiaries of the Embraer Group.

Horacio Aragonés Forjaz is an electronic engineer graduated in 1974 by Brazil’s ITA - Instituto Tecnológico da Aeronáutica. He earned his MsC degree in Applied Computing in 1980 at Brazil´s Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE). Forjaz first joined Embraer in 1974, initially as an intern and subsequently as a systems engineer. In 1990 he was designated Systems Engineering Manager and Engineering Director in 1991, a position held until March 1995, when Forjaz left Embraer to lead a business of his own. Forjaz joined Embraer again in November 1997, initially as Engineering Director and later as Vice-President, Organizational Planning and Development. Currently he holds the position of Executive Vice-President Corporate Affairy, involving activities at a corporate level related to Marketing, Press and External Relations, and Social Development.

"Mauro Kern Junior is graduated in Mechanical Engineering from UFRGS – Rio Grande do Sul Federal University in 1982, where he also participated in some business courses. He joined Embraer in 1982 as System Engineer and he worked on the landing gear project of the military aircraft AMX. In 1984 he joined EDE – Embraer Equipments Division, a company specialized in landing gear and hydraulic equipments, (today this company calls ELEB – Embraer Liebherr Equipamentos do Brasil as “joint venture” with a Germany company Liebherr), Mauro worked for 11 years in different departments as engineering, marketing, sales and customer support. After four years away from Embraer, he returned in 1999 to coordinate the EMBRAER 170/ 190, he successively executed the position of Program Manager. In April 2004, Mauro Kern was appointed as Director of EMBRAER 170/ 190 Program. In July 2005, Mauro was appointed as Program Director of Commercial Aviation, with responsibilities for the integration of the product development, industrials operation and customer support regarding the EMBRAER 170/ 190 program. In April 2007, Mauro Kern was appointed as Executive Vice President Airline Market."

"Luís Carlos Affonso is Embraer Executive Vice President, responsible for the Executive Aviation Business within Embraer, comprising business and product strategies, as well as marketing, sales and customer support for this segment. In this position since 2005 he has led the Embraer significant expansion in this market. Affonso has been with Embraer for 25 years. Serving as Senior Vice President of Engineering and New Product Development, he led the EMBRAER 170/190 program since its inception, strongly advancing Embraer’s position in the airline market. Previously, Affonso was Chief Engineer for the successful ERJ 145 program. Affonso has a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Sao Paulo, in Brazil. He graduated as aeronautical engineer from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics, in São José dos Campos, Brazil, in 1982."

Mr. Botelho has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Embraer since March 2006. He has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since September 1995 and has led the company after its privatization, instituting a new entrepreneurial corporate culture focused on customer satisfaction, which resulted in a successful turnaround and positioning of Embraer as one of the world leaders in the aeronautical market. Mr. Botelho served as CEO of Stelar Telecom, former OTL – Odebrecht Automação & Telecomunicações Ltda., a telecommunications company, from 1988 to 1995. He also served as CEO of CMW Equipamentos S.A., an industrial automation company, from 1985 to 1995, STL – Engenharia de Sistemas Ltda., a project engineering company, from 1985 to 1995, and Soluções Integradas PROLAN Ltda., a corporate network company, from 1994 to 1995. Mr. Botelho was the executive vice-president of TENENGE – Técnica Nacional de Engenharia Ltda., a construction company, during 1992 and an executive officer of Cia. Bozano during 1995. In addition to his position as Chairman of our Board of Directors, he is the President of Mogno Consultoria de Negócios Ltda., a business consulting company, and is a board member of various companies and organizations, such as Perdigão S.A., one of the largest meat and milk processing companies in Brazil, CBMM - Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineração, the largest world producer of niobium, Deutsche Bank, and CDES, a strategic advisory board to the Presidency of Brazil. Mr. Botelho has been awarded, among others, the Ordem do Rio Branco (the highest condecoration from the Brazilian government), Commander, and the Legion d’Honneur, Chevalier from France.

Mr. Almeida has been an employee of Embraer since 1987, and currently holds the position of Quality Controller. He previously served as a member the Board of Directors from January 1995 to April 2001. Mr. Almeida is the representative of our non-shareholder employees, and his business address is the address of our principal executive offices.

Mr. Wever has been a member of Embraer’s Board of Directors of Embraer since 2006. He was also the president of the Consulting Board of Siemens Ltda. since 2001. From 1987 to 2001, Mr. Wever was president of Siemens do Brasil. He was also Officer of Energy and Installations at Siemens do Brasil from 1980 to 1987. Prior to that, Mr. Wever held several positions at General Electric, including Industrial Officer of the department of light bulbs and lighting from 1968 to 1974, and Vice President of Domestic Appliances from 1974 to 1978.

Mr. Lucas has participated in our strategic planning division since 1998 and was the coordinator of Embraer's implementation of the modernization and cost-reduction strategy from 1990 to 1996. Mr. Lucas has been working at Embraer for more than 16 years and is a representative of our shareholder employees. Mr. Lucas' business address is the address of our principal executive offices.

Mr. Zraick has been a member of the Board of Directors of Embraer since 2006. Mr. Zraick was chief financial officer of CVRD, and head of its U.S. affiliate from 1971 to 1986. He was also a Board Member of CVRD in 2000 and served as a Special Advisor and member of CVRD’s Strategic Committee from 2001 to 2004. He was CFO and VP Business Development of Caemi Mineração e Metalurgia S.A., a Brazilian mining company, from 1986 to 1998. He was a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Marketing Committee of Quebec Cartier Mining, in Montreal, Quebec, from 1990 to 1999. He served as a Board Member of Canico Resources in Vancouver, British Columbia, from July 2004 to March 2006. Mr. Zraick is also member of the Board of Directors of Mineração e Metálicos S.A. - MMX, a Brazilian mining company, MPX Energia S.A., a Brazilian energy company, and LLX Logística S.A., a Brazilian logistics company.
