Moeen Qureshi served as Prime Minister of Pakistan in 1993 where he initiated strong reform measures. He was Senior Vice-President and Head of World Bank Operations (1986 1991). Currently he is Chairman and Managing Partner of EMP Global; and a member of the Board of the American International Group's Global Trade and Political Risk Insurance Company. Everett J. Santos is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Latin America Infrastructure Fund (LAIF). LAIF is slightly over one billion dollars in assets with equity investments of over $800 million in infrastructure projects in South America, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. He is additionally Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus of LAVCA. Mr. Santos previously served over 20 years with the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group, as Director, Department of Investments, Infrastructure, Director, Department of Investments, Latin America and Caribbean II, Divisional Manager (Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay), Chief of Special Operations, and as Senior Counsel, Office of the General Counsel. Prior to joining the IFC, Mr. Santos worked with USAID and the Central Bank of Brazil. He served as Legal Consultant for USAID to the Central Bank of Brazil to assist in the development of Brazil's securities markets (1972-1974). Mr. Santos has additionally worked as Legal Consultant for the Organization of American States to the Venezuelan National Securities Commission (1973), in private practice (1970-1971), as Attorney-Advisor to the Office of General Counsel for the US Commission on Civil Rights (1967-1970), and as Attorney and Financial Analyst for the US Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Corporate Finance (1966-1967). Other professional experience includes his work with U.S. Senator Edmund S. Muskie in drafting the original bill and assisting the Senator in preparations for hearings which led to the creation of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation. Mr. Santos also served on the Adela Management Review Committee, representing over 100 creditor banks and IFC on the creditors' committee established to maximize the recovery on loans in excess of US$500 million made to Adela International Financing Company S.A. Mr. Santos is a member of the board of directors of the following companies: IberBolivia (Bolivia), T.V. Cidade (Brazil), Avantel S.A. (Colombia), Methanol Holdings (Trinidad) Limited (Trinidad and Tobago), Fertilizantes Nitrogenados de Venezuela, FertiNitro (Venezuela). He has previously served at: Owner's Council for Escondida S.A., Chile. Director of BISA, Bolivia, and at Cofiec, Ecuador.
