EnerDel's mission is to be a leader in the development of renewable clean energy systems to ensure the reduction of oil consumption and green house gases for the benefit of our planet as well as to provide our shareholders with an attractive return on their investment. It is EnerDel's target to be the primary source of U.S. domestic supply of batteries for key strategic U.S. industries. EnerDel's main goal is to be the first lithium ion battery system manufacturer in the U.S. for automobile applications: Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV), Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), and Electric Vehicles (EV). The core strategy to achieve this goal is the merger of our revolutionary lithium ion cell technology and automobile electronics technology through our own development effort and key strategic partnerships. Our goal is at the same time is to develop a company where the employees share mutual respect for one another and a close team spirit. Dawn Griffin is the Senior Director of Human Resources and Business Services for EnerDel. Ms. Griffin has more than 13 years of experience in Human Resources and Strategic Planning. Previously Ms. Griffin was at Remy International (Formerly Delco Remy International) and served in leadership capacities leading various areas of Human Resources and supporting global HR operations both in business unit and corporate capacities. Her experience includes expertise in all facets of Human Resources in the US, Mexico, Europe and Asia. Derrick Buck is the Director of Battery System Integration for EnerDel. He has over 20 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, with the past five years focused solely on the development of lithium batteries and manufacturing methods. Previously, Mr. Buck served with Delphi Corporation where he was responsible for product development and the integration of lean assembly of cells and high volume manufacturing systems. He also coordinated the timely installation and successful launch of numerous new product manufacturing start-ups. Hiroyuki Yumoto is the Director of Cell Development, and leads all of EnerDel's lithium ion cell activities. He has more than 11 years of experience in the development of materials and cell design for lithium ion and other battery chemistries. Most recently, Mr. Yumoto was Manager of Research & Development at Quallion, LLC for six years. Mr. Yumoto started his career with Japan Storage Battery (JSB), one of the leading battery companies in Japan. He has experience in developing materials for both primary and secondary lithium ion batteries, including positive and negative materials, electrolytes and separators. In addition, his background and expertise covers design of both primary and secondary lithium ion batteries for various applications such as medical devices, hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and cell phones, as well as for aerospace and military applications. Mr. Yumoto has a Bachelors degree in Industrial Chemistry and a Masters degree in Polymer Chemistry both from one of Japan's leading universities, Kyoto University.
