Stephen D. Longon joined us in July 2007 as Senior Vice President of Drilling and Engineering and was named our Senior Vice President of Drilling, Engineering and Production in February 2008. Mr. Longon is currently serving as our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since July 2008 and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of EPL's operations, including exploration, drilling and production. He has over 29 years of energy industry experience and was most recently with Dominion Exploration & Production, Inc. (“Dominion”) in its New Orleans office serving as General Manager of Production and Operations, with responsibility for their operations on the Shelf, in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico (“GOM”) and onshore South Louisiana. During his earlier years with Dominion, he played a key role in the integration and management of substantial resource assets in the Arklatex area, South Texas and the Texas Gulf Coast. Prior to his position with Dominion, Mr. Longon had served as manager in a variety of GOM operational roles for Vastar Resources, Inc. From 1979 to 1993, Mr. Longon worked for ARCO in positions of increasing responsibility, primarily in the GOM and onshore Texas and south Louisiana. Mr. Longon is a Summa Cum Laude graduate with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
Timothy R. Woodall joined us in August 2006 as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Woodall has over 13 years of energy experience and was most recently with UBS Investment Bank (UBS) serving as an Executive Director within its Global Energy Group. In addition to focusing on international energy companies, he has advised on various mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital market transactions for a number of U.S. clients including EPL. Prior to his position with UBS, Mr. Woodall had been a Director of Investment Banking for Credit Suisse First Boston since 2001. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Woodall worked for Woodside Petroleum Ltd. as head of M&A. Mr. Woodall is a Certified Practising Accountant licensed in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide.

John H. Peper joined us in January 2002 as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary following the closing of the HHOC acquisition. Prior to joining EPL, Mr. Peper had been Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of HHOC since February 1993. Mr. Peper also served as a director of HHOC since October 1991. For more than five years prior to joining HHOC, Mr. Peper was a partner in the law firm of Jackson Walker, L.L.P., where he continued to serve in an of counsel capacity through 2001.

L. Keith Vincent joined us as Land Manager in January 1999 and was appointed Vice President, Land and Business Development, in July 2000 and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Land and Business Development in August, 2007. He was recently named Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Land in February, 2008. Mr. Vincent was Vice President, Land and Legal, of Great River Oil & Gas Corporation from 1994 to October 1998. From October 1998 until joining us, Mr. Vincent was a self-employed sole proprietor performing contract work for various oil and gas exploration companies. During Mr. Vincent's 28-year career, he also held various managerial positions with Davis Petroleum Corporation and Transco Exploration Company.

Thomas D. De Brock, who joined us in June 1998 as a Senior Geologist, was previously promoted to Exploration Manager, New Orleans in September 2004 and Vice President of Exploration in August 2006 and has most recently been named Senior Vice President of Exploration. He has more than 23 years of energy industry experience in both the exploration and development efforts. Mr. De Brock began his career with GTS Seismic Corporation, and then joined Odeco Oil and Gas working the Gulf of Mexico Shelf followed by a move to The Louisiana Land and Exploration Company (LL&E) to work the Onshore area of South Louisiana. After the merger of LL&E with Burlington Resources, he joined W&T Offshore before joining EPL. Mr. De Brock holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of New Orleans.
Chad E. Williams joined us in November 2000 as our Production Superintendent and was named Production Manager in April 2002. Mr. Williams is currently serving as Vice President of Production and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of EPL’s field production and construction activities, and managing our exploitation engineer and geoscientist teams. He has over 18 years of energy industry experience, focused primarily on Gulf of Mexico field operations and asset management. Mr. Williams worked with Chevron USA prior to joining EPL in positions of increasing responsibilities ranging from offshore drilling and workover supervisory roles to production and reservoir engineering leadership roles within offshore asset management teams. Mr. Williams is a graduate with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College, Ohio.
David P. Cedro joined us in October 2008 as Vice President, Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Cedro is responsible for overseeing all aspects of EPL's accounting functions. He has over 16 years of accounting and finance experience including management positions held from 1992 to 2003 within Ernst & Young LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP, current Big 4 and former Big 6 international accounting firms, respectively. In 2003, Mr. Cedro joined The Shaw Group Inc., a Fortune 500 company that, among other services, provides engineering and construction support to the energy sector, where he held various executive positions until March 2008. Immediately prior to joining EPL, he was Corporate Controller for Bayou Steel, LLC, a steel manufacturing company recently acquired by ArcelorMittal SA. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a M.S. and B.S. in Accounting from the University of New Orleans (“UNO”). Mr. Cedro is a member of AICPA and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants, as well as a board member of the UNO Energy Accounting & Technology Conference and a member of the UNO Accounting Department Advisory Council.

Dennis L. Legendre joined us in March 2004 as Director of Human Resources and was named Vice President of Human Resources in July 2008. Mr. Legendre is currently responsible for overseeing all aspects of EPL’s corporate human resources activities. He has over 24 years of human resources experience, with 18 of those years directly related to the energy industry. Prior to joining EPL, Mr. Legendre was with Burlington Resources serving as Director of Human Resources. He held management positions with Louisiana Land and Exploration Co., Inc.(LL&E), overseeing all aspects of human resources program design and administration. Prior to joining LL&E, he coordinated human resource activities in two operating divisions for Shell Oil Company. Mr. Legendre is a graduate of Loyola University of New Orleans, College of Law and holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Orleans.
Paul B. Jones, who joined us in June 2003 as a Senior Asset Geoscientist, was previously promoted to Lead Asset Geoscientist in January 2006 and Exploration Manager in January 2008 and was most recently named Vice President of Exploration in July 2008. He has over 24 years of energy industry experience in the exploration and development efforts in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM), both on the shelf and in deepwater, as well as in Alaska. Mr. Jones began his career with ARCO as a Geophysicist in their Alaska group, and then became a Senior Geophysicist in their Houston office responsible for prospect evaluations on the GOM shelf. He later moved into Vastar Resources, Inc., a subsidiary of ARCO, working as a Principal Geophysicist responsible for GOM shelf exploitation opportunities. Following the BP Amoco acquisition of ARCO, Mr. Jones became a Senior Staff Geophysicist for BP America Inc. in Houston working the Na Kika field development, a major BP-Shell joint venture in deepwater GOM. Mr. Jones holds a Masters of Science degree in Geophysics from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Northeastern University of Boston.

T.J. Thom joined us in October 2000 as a Senior Asset Management Engineer, a position she held until appointed Director of Corporate Reserves in September 2001. She was named our Director of Investor Relations in April 2006, and has most recently been named Vice President, Treasurer and Investor Relations in July 2008. She has over 15 years of energy industry experience and prior to joining us, she was a Senior Reservoir Engineer with Exxon Production Company and ExxonMobil Company with operational roles including reservoir engineering and subsurface completion engineering for numerous offshore Gulf of Mexico properties. She holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Illinois and a M.B.A. in Management with a concentration in Finance from Tulane University.

Ms. Kernot has been Company Secretary of Woodside Petroleum Ltd., Woodside Energy Ltd. and Australian group subsidiaries since January 2004. Prior to this, Ms. Kernot served as Company Secretary of LCB Holdings and Little Creatures Brewing Pty Ltd. from July 2000 to April 2005 and Compliance Officer, Managed Investments for Yates Limited from June 1996 to June 2003.
J. Lee Alcock, Jr. joined us in November 2003 as Senior Attorney, a position he held until being appointed Associate General Counsel in August 2007. He has nearly 20 years of energy industry experience and immediately prior to joining us was with Ocean Energy Inc. as Senior Attorney for six years. Prior to Ocean Energy, Inc., he was engaged in energy related work within a private law practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for 10 years. Mr. Alcock holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University.
Mr. Chaney has been a Non-Executive Director of Woodside Petroleum Ltd. and Woodside Energy Ltd. since 2005. He has been Chairman and Non-Executive Director of National Australia Bank Limited since 2004, a Member of JPMorgan International Council since 2003 and President of Business Council of Australia since 2005. Mr. Chaney also currently serves as Director of National Equities Limited and Chairman of Gresham Partners Holdings Ltd. From 1992 to 2004 Mr. Chaney was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Wesfarmers Limited, from 1995 to 2005 a Director of BHP Billiton Limited, from 2001 to 2005 a Director of BHP Plc and from 1990 to 2005 a Director of Gresham Partners Group Limited.

Stephen S. St. Amand joined us in November 2004 as our Lead Drilling Engineer and was named Drilling Manager in May 2007. Mr. St. Amand is currently serving as Vice President of Drilling and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of EPL's well operations including drilling, workovers and completions, and through tubing operations. He has over 22 years of energy industry experience and was most recently with Schlumberger as a Senior Project Manager in the Integrated Project Group overseeing drilling and completion projects as well as coiled tubing drilling projects offshore and in the lower 48 states. Prior to his position with Schlumberger, Mr. St. Amand held various positions with Marathon Oil Company in Offshore and North Louisiana Operations, and Reservoir Engineering. Just prior to leaving Marathon in 1998, Mr. St. Amand was a Senior Production Supervisor in the eastern Gulf of Mexico. Mr. St. Amand is a graduate with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
Jerry D. Carlisle, age 60, has been a director since March 2003. Mr. Carlisle has been vice president and director of DarC Marketing, Inc., a family-owned marketing company, since 1997. From 1983 to 1997, Mr. Carlisle was vice president, controller and chief accounting officer of LL&E and, from 1979 to 1983, he held various management positions at LL&E. Mr. Carlisle has a masters of business administration from Loyola University, is a certified public accountant, and serves as a trustee of the Mississippi State University Business School.

James R. Latimer, III , age 62, is standing for election to the Board for the first time at the 2008 Annual Meeting. Mr. Latimer is head of The Latimer Companies, a private oil and gas exploration and development company. He is also partner of Blackhill Partners/Blackhill Advisors, a financial advisory and merchant banking firm, primarily in energy and technology industries, which he founded in 2000. Mr. Latimer currently serves as a director of NGP Capital Resources Company.
Steven J. Pully, age 49, has served the Company as a director since February 25, 2008. Mr. Pully is currently the General Counsel for Carlson Capital, L.P., an asset management firm, Prior to joining Carlson Capital, L.P. in July 2009, Mr. Pully was a consultant, working primarily in the asset management industry. From December 2001 to October 2007, Mr. Pully worked for Newcastle Capital Management, L.P, an investment partnership, where he served as president from January 2003 through October 2007. He also served as chief executive officer of New Century Equity Holdings Corp. from June 2004 through October of 2007. Prior to joining Newcastle Capital Management, from 2000 to 2001, Mr. Pully served as a managing director in the investment banking department of Bank of America Securities, Inc. and from 1997 to 2000 he was a member of the investment banking department of Bear Stearns where he became a senior managing director in 1999. Mr. Pully also serves on the Board of Directors of Ember Resources and Energy Partners Ltd. Mr. Pully is licensed as an attorney and CPA in the state of Texas and is also a CFA charterholder. He holds a B.S. with honors in Accounting from Georgetown University and a J.D. degree from The University of Texas.
