Luke is Energy Systems Group's Vice President of Energy Services and is responsible for the day-to-day operation and care of ESG's energy centers serving customers in Illinois and Tennessee. Under Luke's leadership, the Energy Services group has developed several unique solutions that have increased service levels and reduced costs to our energy center customers. Luke has extensive experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and project management in the application of advanced energy technology. He brings over 15 years of leadership and team management skills and since 1998 has led ESG to be one of the top operations and maintenance providers in the energy industry. Luke's role in developing projects with customers including the University of Evansville, Mt. Home Energy Center, and our two Chicago Energy Centers solidifies Energy Systems Group as the premier energy solutions and performance contracting provider. Ray currently serves on the ESC National Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Website Committee. Exhibiting a strong commitment to the ESC, Ray joined the Tennessee ESC as one of its original members, and actively participates in two ESC state chapters Tennessee and Kentucky. He serves on the Board for the TN ESC and as the Workshop Committee Chairman for the KY ESC. Ray played a key leadership role in the planning and delivery of a highly successful KY ESC Workshop held in 2003 at Cave City, Kentucky and was actively involved in the planning and delivery of the equally successful TN ESC Workshops held in 2002 and again in 2004 at Montgomery Bell State Park. Energetic in promoting the cause of energy efficiency Ray also currently serves as Chapter Past-President for the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers. In his prior career in manufacturing, flexible automation and robotics, Ray served for four years on the Board of Directors of Robotics International Association (35,000 members) and as the RIA President for one year. This association experience, along with his demonstrated commitment to ESC and the leadership he has displayed through ESC workshops (generating approximately $15,000 in ESC chapter revenues for the KY and TN chapters), substantiate his ability to serve in a highly effective manner. Ray has also worked with state agencies in both Tennessee and Kentucky to help promote pro-ESPC legislation, policy, statutes and regulations to further expand the overall market opportunity for performance contracting. He has been personally responsible for winning ESPC contracts totaling approximately $20M in Tennessee and $15M in Kentucky over the past 3 years in state agency, higher education, and the K-12 markets. Ray has been involved in the field of energy efficiency for nearly 15 years. He is an Account Executive with Energy Systems Group. His past affiliations with utility and energy efficiency companies include serving as a consultant to Georgia Power and the Southern Company utility network; A&C Enercom, Atlanta a national utility consulting firm; Evantage (Virginia Power's ESCO); HEC (now Select Energy); and Siemens Building Technologies. He attended Northern Michigan University and graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Ray has a history of strong sales and marketing abilities along with excellent leadership, organizational and communications skills. His professional affiliations include the Energy Services Coalition, Association of Energy Engineers, Society of Manufacturing Engineers and Robotics International. Ray and his wife Barbara live in Nashville.
