Keith S. Walters serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ennis, Inc., a member of the NYSE (EBF) since 1960.
Mr. Walters was appointed CEO of Ennis in November 1997, and assumed the roles of Chairman and President in July of 1998. Since beginning his tenure with the company, Mr. Walters has led the Company’s growth by implementing a precise acquisition strategy. A total of nine separate acquisitions combined with the existing strength of Ennis, have brought an additional $400 million in sales while continuing to offer returns much higher than industry competition.
During his fifth year with the company, Ennis, Inc., the nation’s largest wholesale print manufacturer, received recognition as one of the “200 Best Small Companies” by Forbes Magazine. Ennis was recently named to this list again for the third consecutive year.
Mr. Walters’ previous positions include Business Unit Director of numerous manufacturing facilities within United Technologies Automotive and VP of Operations for Atlas/Soundolier, an electronics wholesaler. Though his early background was in materials management, much of Mr. Walter’s experience has been in the areas of strategic planning and acquisition integration, while retaining P & L responsibilities for multiple manufacturing locations.
He has received various industry awards such as the Vibro/Dynamics Productivity Award, the top-performing plant on ROI nine times while with United Technologies, and collaborated on an 18-month special project titled “Factory of the Future,” a book of future trends in manufacturing. He was named the BFL&S Manufacturer of the Year in February of 2000 and has been a keynote speaker at the International Association for Document and Information Solutions Conference. Mr. Walters has been a director for the International Association for Document Technologies, currently serves as a director for the Document Management Industry Association and is a member of the printing industries honorary society, Order of the Black Leaf.
Mr. Walters has been featured in numerous business articles in publications such as Barron's, PrintSolutions, Business Forms Labels & Systems, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and numerous industry specific publications.
Mr. Walters earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University. He was raised in Verona, Ohio and currently resides in Ovilla, Texas with his wife Margaret and their two children: Stacy and Mia.

Mr. Travis was appointed Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer on November 1, 2005. Previously, Mr. Travis was employed as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources with Peerless Mfg. Co. in Dallas, Texas, a publicly traded manufacturer of filtration/separation and environmental systems for the gas, petrochemical, refinery and power markets.
Prior to his experience at Peerless, Mr. Travis served as the Chief Financial Officer at TrinTel Communications, as President/Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer at CT Holdings, Inc., and as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Texwood Industries, Inc. His public accounting experience includes his position as a Senior Audit Manager at Grant Thornton, LLP as well as audit experience with Laventhol & Horwath and Ernst & Whinney (Ernst & Young).
Mr. Travis is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Florida Atlantic University.

On July 15, 2008, Irshad Ahmad became the President of Alstyle Apparel and Chief Technology Officer of Ennis, Inc. Prior to his promotion, Mr. Ahmad served as Vice President of Technology for Ennis since 2007 and as Vice President of IT for Alstyle Apparel (Ennis’ Apparel Segment) since 2001. In 2005, he also assumed the additional role of Vice President of Operations at Alstyle.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Ahmad worked with GoInvest.com as senior database engineer to design and support development of their online trading system and financial search engine. He also served as head of the software development team in Soft Integrated Systems in Pakistan, during which time he was engaged in an ERP development project in the U.S.
Mr. Ahmad served in the Pakistan Army as an officer for a total of 13 years where he held various key positions in command, staff and operations. He last served as General Staff Officer Grade-2 in Staff Duties Directorate at Pakistan Army’s General Headquarters before starting his business career. He has undergraduate degrees in Physics and Math and a Master’s of Computer Science.

James C. Taylor, Principal of the Anderson Group, Inc. The Anderson Group Inc., Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, is a private investment firm engaged in the acquisition and management of businesses in a variety of industries. Mr. Taylor joined The Anderson Group Inc. in 1989 and served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of four businesses affiliated with The Anderson Group Inc.
