Dr. Helena S. Wisniewski is the Vice President, Research and Enterprise Development, Stevens Institute of Technology. She also is the Chief Executive Officer of Castle Point Holdings, a company that invests in technology companies. Prior to joining the Stevens Institute in 2004, Dr. Wisniewski was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Aurora Biometrics, a company she founded in 2000 on her patented technology. Before that, she was a senior executive at Lockheed Corporation, a Vice President of Titan Corporation, and held a management position with the CIA. Dr. Wisniewski is the Chairman of Attila Technologies, LLC, a company that provides continuous broadband on-demand communication. She recently was appointed by the Secretary of the Navy to the Navel Research Advisory Committee.

Steven D. Mogensen joined the company in February, 2006. Mr. Mogensen has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Previously Mr. Mogensen was President and Co-founder of a privately held diagnostic imaging company. Mr. Mogensen also served as Vice President of Sales for one of MedSource Technologies divisions as well as managing the marketing functions for MedSource. Mr. Mogensen also held a variety of sales and marketing positions in his 12 year tenure with Smiths Medical.

Bill R. Sanford is the Founder and Chairman of Symark LLC, a technology commercialization and business development company. He is Executive Founder and retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of STERIS Corporation, a global provider of infection and contamination prevention systems, products, services and technologies. Mr. Sanford serves on the board of directors of KeyCorp and on the risk management and nominating and corporate governance committees of that board. He is also a director of several early stage private technology companies and not for profit organizations. Mr. Sanford serves on the following Committee of the Board of Directors of Greatbatch, Inc.

Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Corning, Inc. Dr. Joseph A. Miller, Jr. has been Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Corning, Inc. since 2001. Before joining Corning, he served as Senior Vice President of E.I. DuPont de Nemours from 1999 to 2001 and held various executive positions with that company prior to that time. Dr. Miller also serves on the board of directors of Dow Corning Corporation and the corporate responsibility committee of that board. Dr. Miller serves on the following Committees of the Board of Directors of Greatbatch, Inc.

Al Emola: Founder and Board Member. He is currently the CEO of StentTech. Earlier he was V.P for Business Development at St. Jude Medical. Al was also the CEO of Vital Images and was responsible in turning Vital Images into a profitable venture during his tenure.

Michael D. Dale has served as President and CEO of ATS Medical since joining the company in October 2002. He assumed the additional responsibilities of Chairman of the Board in May 2004. With more than 20 years experience in the medical device industry, Mr. Dale came to ATS Medical from Endocardial Solutions, Inc., St. Paul, where he was Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Global Sales for Cyberonics, Inc., Houston, and Managing Director of Cyberonics Europe S.A., Brussels. He has held marketing, sales and product management positions at St. Jude Medical, Inc., St. Paul, and St. Jude Medical Europe, Brussels. He began his career in sales at American Edwards Laboratories, Inc. (CVS and Critical Care Divisions), Lexington, Kentucky, and Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Dale serves on the board of directors of Neuronetics, Inc., Philadelphia. He holds a bachelors degree from California Polytechnic State University.

Michael Dinkins has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of USI Insurance Services since October 2008. He previously had served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Co. from 2005 to October 2008, as Vice President, Global Control & Reengineering at Guidant Corporation from 2004 to 2005, and as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at NCR Corporation from 2002 to 2004. Prior to 2002, Mr. Dinkins held senior positions at Access Worldwide Communications, Cadmus Communications Group and General Electric Company. He is a director of LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc. Mr. Dinkins also serves on the following Committees of the Board of Directors of Greatbatch, Inc.

Richard Schwarz joined NineSigma in 2004 as Chairman of the Board. Richard Schwarz is a partner in Sycamore Partners LLC, an early stage venture capital firm. Prior to Sycamore Partners, Richard was President and CEO of Laurel Industries, Inc., a privately held chemical manufacturer acquired by Occidental Petroleum Corporation in 1996. Richard is a Director of Associated Estates Realty Corp. (NYSE:AEC) and recently chaired the Visiting Committee at Case Western Reserve University's School of Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Ohio. Schwarz received his bachelor's degree in engineering from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University.

Thomas L. Auth , age 62, has been our director since October 1999. Mr. Auth is a private investor and the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Vomela Specialty Company, a graphics design and manufacturing company. Mr. Auth was the Chief Executive Officer and a director of ITI Technologies, Inc., a publicly held company, from 1981 until May 2000. ITI was a leading designer and manufacturer of electronic security products. In May 2000, ITI merged with SLC Technologies, Inc. to form a new publicly held company, Interlogix, Inc. and Mr. Auth served as Chairman of the board of directors of Interlogix, until February 2002 when Interlogix was acquired by the General Electric Company. Mr. Auth currently serves on the boards of several privately held companies. Mr. Auth is also a certified public accountant but does not currently hold an active license to practice.

Mr. Jones is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of BIOMEC and has had a distinguished career of over 45 years as an industrial executive and as an innovative engineer. He has received 15 patents and has published numerous award winning scientific papers. In June 2004, Mr. Jones was named Entrepreneur of the Year for Innovation by Ernst and Young. In the past, Mr. Jones has been responsible for starting greenfield product development organizations in the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom while working for General Motors Corporation and TRW, Inc. During his career, Mr. Jones has been responsible for major programs in the Nuclear, Defense, Aerospace, and Automotive industries. Mr. Jones has formed and has been the chairman of many small to medium-sized industrial joint ventures and Chairman and CEO of large companies, such as Libbey-Owens-Ford Co. and Echlin, Inc., with annual sales of $1 to over $3 billion. Mr. Jones is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, a Life Fellow of IEEE, a fellow of IEE (UK), an Honorary Fellow of IMechE (UK), a Professional Engineer (PE) and a Chartered Engineer in the UK.
