Bala Dharan, Ph.D., CPA, is the J. Howard Creekmore professor of accounting at the Jones Graduate School of Management, Rice University, Houston, and an affiliate director of LECG in the Houston office. He has extensive research and consulting experience in financial reporting and accounting issues, as well as investment analysis and business valuation, and is frequently cited by media on accounting issues. He has also been invited several times to testify before the U.S. Congress on financial reporting issues and accounting standards. Bala has been on the Rice University faculty since 1982, and has been a visiting professor at business schools at Harvard, Berkeley, and Northwestern. His research centers on the use of financial information by investors, and in particular on the effect of accounting changes on the quality of information reported to investors, and is the co-author of Enron: Corporate Fiascos and Their Implications, a book on the accounting and corporate governance lessons learned from recent corporate scandals. Bala received his PhD in accounting from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, in 1981, following an MS in accounting. He also has a B.Tech in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.

Dorianna C. Phillips is the Senior Media Planner for Poorman-Douglas Noticing. Dorianna is responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of our class action and bankruptcy advertising efforts. She has been responsible for class action cases including, Microfilm Services v. Microsoft Corporation and In re: Managed Care Litigation (CIGNA Settlements), In re: Natural Gas Anti-Trust Cases I,II, III & IV,. Mr. Hughes has an extensive background as a professional manager. He served four years as a Presidential Appointee during the Bush Administration in Washington, D.C. During that time he worked in more than 30 countries assisting U.S. businesses develop international opportunities. He also worked eight years as a restructuring officer in 3 distressed public companies before spending time at post bankruptcy Enron where he was responsible for small asset liquidations and bankruptcy document retention.

An expert in antitrust, intellectual property, and securities, Mr. Arnold has worked on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 companies and with most of the nation's top law firms. He regularly manages complex civil litigation matters in which he has assessed arguments submitted by multiple expert witnesses and prepared multiple experts in rebuttal covering aspects of accounting, economics, and finance. In addition, he testifies on liability and damages issues in antitrust, intellectual property, securities, and complex business tort disputes. He is currently advising a top financial institution in connection with its Enron-related litigations and recently assisted Honeywell in a $1 billion case involving alleged accounting fraud and fraudulent conveyance. His experience also includes leading the expert work and attendant analysis in Winstar cases for the U.S. Department of Justice, serving as an expert witness for the Chicago Board of Trade in a matter involving electronic trading patents, and advising a large asset management/investment fund firm regarding an SEC investigation into trading practices.

Since Mark Drummond founded Drummond & Company in 2003, the firm has become a leader in providing innovative consulting and technology solutions to Fortune 500 Companies in the Energy and Financial Industries. Prior to establishing Drummond & Company, Drummond was a senior project manager at Openlink Financial Inc. in Houston. He was responsible for managing the implementation of the Endur product for top tiered clients in Openlink's Energy division. Previous jobs include positions with Altra Technologies, Shell Services Company, Electronic Data Systems and Enron. He holds Bachelor's of Business Administration Degrees in Finance and Business Analysis from Texas A & M University.

Mark G. Ledwin is a Partner in the White Plains office. His practice focuses on the areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights and commercial litigation. He has represented numerous creditors in state and federal courts, including many insurance companies, banks, and finance companies. Prior to joining the firm in 1991, Mark served as a law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge George E. Woods in Detroit, Michigan. Mark has developed a particular expertise in the resolution of insurance coverage and claims issues in bankruptcy. Mark has represented insurers in numerous bankruptcy cases across the country where an insured or co-defendant has filed for bankruptcy due to massive exposure for alleged financial misrepresentations, mass torts or environmental claims. Representative cases include Enron, Allegheny Health Education and Research Foundation, Pittsburgh Corning, Raymark, RFI Realty, W.R. Grace, Federal Mogul, Twin Labs, Nutraquest, Delaco, NVE and Metabolife. Mark is a frequent author and speaker on bankruptcy issues. He has published several articles in the Bankruptcy Developments Journal of Emory University and the PLUS Journal. He has also lectured at Mealey's Litigation Seminars, New York State Judicial Conference, Pace University School of Law CLE Program, the National Forum for Environmental and Toxic Tort Issues, the Westchester/Fairfield Counties Chapter of the American Corporate Counsel Association, and has lectured to the legal departments of numerous companies.

Matthew Bishop is Chief Business Writer/American Business Editor of The Economist. He also serves as the New York Bureau Chief. Matthew is the author of several Economist special survey supplements, including most recently "The Business of Giving", which looks at the industrial revolution taking place in philanthropy; "Kings of Capitalism", which anticipated and analysed the recent boom in private equity; and "Capitalism and its Troubles", an examination of the impact of problems such as the collapse of Enron. Matthew is the author of "Essential Economics", the official Economist layperson's guide to economics. Before joining The Economist, Matthew was on the faculty of London Business School, where he co-authored three books for the Oxford University Press, on subjects ranging from privatisation and regulation to corporate mergers. Matthew has served as a member of the Sykes Commission on the investment system in the 21st Century. He was also on the Advisors Group of the United Nations International Year of Microcredit 2005. He has been honoured as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and is an Oxford University graduate.

Mike Taylor is currently a Senior Emissions Trader with Louis Dreyfus Energy Services, a position that he has held since June 2006. Louis Dreyfus Energy Services is a major North American energy merchant active in the processing, trading, marketing and transporting of a wide range of energy products. The company supports its energy activities with a diversified processing, pipeline and storage asset base operated to provide bundled commodity and logistics services to the energy industry. Mr. Taylor has five years of experience in energy trading specializing in emissions trading. Prior to joining Louis Dreyfus, Mr. Taylor was Senior Trader in Coal and Emissions with NRG Energy where he was responsible for optimizing the emissions portfolio for the 25,000 MW fleet and adding incremental value through trading in the environmental markets. Prior positions include Consulting Associate with CRA, Senior Emissions Trader at Multifuels LP and Analyst on the Enron Coal and Emissions Desk. Mr. Taylor currently serves on EMA's Board and has been a speaker at numerous energy conferences regarding emissions trading and marketing.

Richard Shinder is a Managing Director with The Blackstone Group, a boutique investment banking and private equity firm based in New York. He works as a senior member of the firm's Restructuring and Reorganization Advisory Group, and is responsible for the execution of complex in- and out-of-court financial restructuring assignments on behalf of debtor and creditor clients. His current and completed assignments include advisory engagements with Enron Corp., the most complex chapter 11 filing in U.S. history; W. R. Grace & Co., a mass tort bankruptcy involving an international manufacturer of specialty chemical products; Levitz Furniture Incorporated, a major furniture retailer; Telergy, Inc.; and Data Transmission Network Corporation.

Ron Reynolds serves as president of Panora Cooperative Cablevision and was elected in 1980 to the board of directors. Ron lives on an acreage at the edge of Panora and is a Reservoir Technician for Enron in Redfield.

Russell L. Smith is special counsel to the Government Relations Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in Washington, D.C. Mr. Smith specializes in a wide variety of federal relations areas, including Congressional investigations, and legislative matters involving environmental law, international trade and embargoes, consumer products, financial services and institutions, foreign investment, overseas bribery, foreign boycotts, nuclear power, defense contracting, and federal and state campaign finance law. Mr. Smith has also represented clients in administrative proceedings before the Department of Commerce, the Department of Energy, the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Health and Human Services and other federal agencies. His clients have included major manufacturing and services corporations, international businesses, financial services companies, pharmaceutical companies, trade associations, and prominent individuals. Mr. Smith has worked with the Litigation Department to review issues and prepare witnesses with respect to the Congressional investigation of Enron tax shelters, and energy issues. He has also recently worked on drafting new legislation on terrorism insurance, bioterrorism, and agriculture policy. Mr. Smith actively works on issues relating to anti-money laundering policy. He also advises multiple clients on compliance issues associated with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and on compliance and disclosure issues connected with U.S. trade embargoes. Additionally, he advises Japanese auto manufacturers and the Government of Japan on negotiations on auto trade issues connected to the U.S.-Japan Auto Trade Negotiations, and works with other foreign governments and trade associations regarding trade negotiations and legislation.

Stanley P. Hanks, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Hanks is responsible for overall corporate strategy, business execution, and operations. Mr. Hanks brings to NewCross extensive experience in the areas of executive and general management in the telecommunications arena. Mr. Hanks also serves as Chief Telecom Strategist for Columbia Ventures Corporation. Prior to joining CVC in 2003, Mr. Hanks had been a consultant to top tier venture capital organizations and their portfolio companies. A serial entrepreneur, Mr. Hanks has 25 years of experience as an executive in Internet and telecom startup efforts, including Enron Broadband, Genuity, and MFS Datanet. Mr. Hanks has multiple degrees in computer science from Rice University.

Tim comes to 3 Phases Energy from GE Wind Energy, where he was a member of GE's Renewable Energy Leadership Program, spending four years in Business Development, Strategic Marketing, and Commercial Operations in Tehachapi, CA and Amsterdam. His most recent position was as Six Sigma Black Belt with GE Power Generation's Economic Analysis and Pricing Team that established pricing for the sale of over 1500 MW of wind turbines in 2005. Derrick has also held roles at Enron Wind, Dell Computer, and as a management consultant. Prior to working in business, Tim served eight years as a U.S. Army Officer and coached with the U.S. Olympic Biathlon Team. A native of upstate New York, Tim holds an undergraduate degree in History and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College, and an MBA in General Management from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business.

Vicki Sharif brings with her 20+ years of experience in internal and external consulting serving as a high-level strategist and advisor to both early stage ventures and Fortune 1000 s. Further, Sharif has built and managed new enterprises from concept. As a senior corporate executive she has served in a marketing and business development capacity that included brand marketing, partnership/relationship marketing, new product development, and new business development (subsidiaries, mini SBU s). Additionally, she has an emphasis in strategy particularly as it relates to growth strategy design and implementation. Most recently, Sharif served as President and CEO of Stratatac International, an applied strategies and tactics consulting firm. Sharif possesses experience as a corporate executive and consultant in a wide variety of industries, including energy, telecommunications, venture capital, technology, retail, professional services, furnishings, financial services, and healthcare with companies such as Enron, Texaco, SCE&G, Electric Lite, OmniCall, Latin Net, BuildersFirst.com, designonlineinc.com, and RCA. A proven entrepreneur, Sharif personally founded and operated seven start-up ventures. She holds an MBA and an MA in Economics (ABT) and has completed coursework for a PhD.

John Wakeham, Baron Wakeham, PC (born 1932), is a businessman and British Conservative politician. He was a successful accountant and later businessman before his election to the House of Commons in 1974. He became a minister after Margaret Thatcher's landslide in 1979. His first wife, Roberta, was killed in the Brighton hotel bombing and he himself was trapped in rubble for seven hours. During the late eighties he served as Leader of the House of Commons, in which capacity he was responsible for the first televisings of Parliament, and as Energy Secretary (1989-1992), where he drew up plans for the privatisation of electricity. He was appointed a life peer in 1992 by John Major, and then was Leader of the House of Lords until 1994. He became chairman of the Press Complaints Commission in 1995, retiring in 2001. Tony Blair appointed him in 1999 to head a Royal Commission on reform of the House of Lords - the result report suggested a mainly appointed Lords be maintained, with a small elected component. Since he left government, he has been active in business again, notably being a director of Enron before its collapse.
