Ann Winblad is the co-founding Partner of Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. Hummer Winblad Venture Partners is a venture capital firm focused on software investing and manages over $1 billion in capital. Hummer Winblad Venture Partners has launched over 80 new software companies. Ann has over 25 years of experience in the software industry as a successful software entrepreneur, strategy advisor, technical author and venture capitalist. Her background and experience have been chronicled in many national business and trade publications. Ann has a B.A. in Mathematics and in Business Administration. She has a Master of Education with a focus in International Economics from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota. Ann also has an honorary Doctorate of Law degree from the University of St. Thomas. Ann serves as a Director of start-up and public companies. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of St. Thomas.

Lars Leckie, originally from Canada , has been involved in operating roles with Stanford related start-up companies for the past six years. He moved to the Bay Area in 1997 to complete a Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering. During this time, he joined with founding team and helped raise venture capital financing for IntegriNautics (now Novariant), a GPS company focused on robotics and automation of industrial equipment. He has also been involved with the founding team of SportBug, a GPS and Internet based fitness monitoring company. At the GSB, Lars has been involved with the E-Conference, the Canadian Club and acts as an advisor to the Sand Hill Angel investor group. Lars also holds an Engineering Physics degree from Queen's University (with Honors).
