Mr. Henry brings more than 20 years of high technology experience to Entropic. Mr. Henry has served in executive management roles in companies ranging from small, innovative startups to large multinationals. Just prior to Entropic, he served as president and CEO of Pictos Technologies, developers of digital imaging products, and exited after completing a multimillion-dollar sale of the company to ESS Technology. Before that, Mr. Henry was CEO of LinCom Wireless, a chip company focused on 802.11 wireless LAN products. Mr. Henry also served as a vice president and general manager at LSI Logic, and was a senior vice president at C-Cube Microsystems, a pioneer in the development of digital video ICs. Mr. Henry has also held sales and marketing management positions at Hyundai Electronics America (now Hynix) and AMD. Mr. Henry has his MBA from the University of Southern California, and holds a Bachelor in Engineering Science and Mechanics, with high honors, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Mr. Lyle brings over 20 years of finance experience from both the semiconductor and commercial banking industries. He joined Entropic as CFO through the acquisition of RF Magic where he also served as CFO. He joined RF Magic from Broadcom Corporation, a leading provider of highly integrated semiconductor solutions. Prior to Broadcom, he was CFO at Zyray Wireless, a WCDMA baseband co-processor startup, which was acquired by Broadcom. Mr. Lyle also served as CFO at Mobilian Corporation, a wireless data communications semiconductor startup which was acquired by Intel Corporation. Prior to Mobilian, he served in various finance roles at Intel in the microprocessor and networking groups and also served in Intel Capital focusing on mergers and acquisitions primarily for the wireless communications and computing group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lyle worked in commercial banking focusing on leveraged buy-outs. Mr. Lyle received his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from Arizona State University as well as Master of International Management (MIM) degree from The Garvin School of International Management (Thunderbird).
Dr. Gurantz has more than 30 years of experience in developing advanced digital communications systems, products and components. He managed and led the development of numerous innovative system, products and integrated circuits solutions for digital DBS, digital cable STB and cable modems, digital wireless STB and others. After receiving his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 1978, Dr. Gurantz worked at Linkabit Corporation until 1984 when he co-founded ComStream Corporation, holding engineering and R&D leadership positions. Following the sale of the Hi-Media division of ComStream to Rockwell Semiconductor (now Conexant Systems) in 1997, Dr. Gurantz served as vice president of engineering for the Digital Infotainment Division. His B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering degrees were received from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.

Mr. Hancock has over 18 years of industry experience in product design and development at RF Magic, Conexant, ComStream, and Linkabit. His expertise includes RF systems engineering, receiver and transmitter design, and design for high volume consumer applications. Most recently Mr. Hancock was the CTO, VP of Engineering and co-founder of RF Magic. Prior to RF Magic he led RF Systems Engineering at Conexant and ComStream. Mr. Hancock is credited with inventing a number of industry firsts, including the world's first silicon tuner for Direct Broadcast Satellite (DBS), the world's first high performance silicon tuner for reception of terrestrial television, and the world's first Channel Stacking Switch RFIC for DBS. Mr. Hancock holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.

Mr. Bridges has over 16 years of experience in general business and corporate law matters, with particular emphasis in mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and working with technology companies. Prior to joining Entropic, he was a partner at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP, where he practiced law since 1991. Mr. Bridges received a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), in 1990, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as associate editor of the California Law Review. He concurrently earned an M.B.A., concentrating in finance and strategic planning, from the Walter A. Haas School of Business Administration, University of California, Berkeley. In 1985, he received a B.A., magna cum laude, in economics from the University of California, San Diego. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Bridges worked for a regional investment banking firm as a financial analyst specializing in business valuations and M&A advisory services. Mr. Bridges is a member of the State Bar of California and the Business Law section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Bridges was selected for the 2006 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for the Leveraged Buyouts and Private Equity Law category and the 2007 edition for the Corporate Law category.

Mr. Economy has more than 20 years experience in semiconductor sales and marketing. Over the past several years he has managed the sales penetration and growth activities for a wide range of global accounts such as Compaq, HP, IBM, Dell, Northern Telecom, Sun Micro, Acer, ViewSonic, Creative Labs, and others. In addition, he brings a wealth of OEM and retail-channel experience to Entropic, a notable plus as the company expands into these key areas. Prior to joining Entropic Communications, he was vice president of OEM sales for graphics-chip maker Trident Microsystems, also helping to spearhead the nascent plasma and digital television display markets. Before that, he was vice president of marketing with Synergy Semiconductor where he gained extensive knowledge in managing the company's efforts in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Japan prior to the company being acquired by Micrel. His career began with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in product engineering, where he swiftly moved on to technical and product marketing management positions in EPROM and Flash memories, a category in which the company continues to lead. Mr. Economy holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in Solid State, Microwave and Quantum Electronics from the University of California, Davis.
Ms. Zoumaras has over 15 years of human resource and management experience in venture-backed start ups and fast-growing, multi-national organizations. Before joining Entropic, Ms. Zoumaras was the Vice President, Worldwide Human Resources for Biosite Incorporated where she lead the transformation of the human resources function to improve delivery of HR services, enhance employee relations and better manage talent acquisition. Prior to Biosite, Ms. Zoumaras held a variety of human resource positions at technology companies including Ensemble Communications, Conexant Systems and Cadence Design Systems. In addition to her corporate experience, Ms. Zoumaras also managed her own human resources consulting firm working with the executive teams of emerging companies in high tech and life sciences. Currently, she is an instructor in the HR certification program at San Diego State. Throughout her career, Ms. Zoumaras has held board positions at a number of human resources organizations and non-profits and is a regular speaker on the topics of talent acquisition and employee engagement. Ms. Zoumaras earned her B.S. in Business Administration and her Human Resources Management certification from San Diego State University.
Mr. Pappas has more than 20 years of semiconductor product and test engineering experience. In his current role, Mr. Pappas manages Entropic's global supply chain, quality & reliability engineering, and product & test engineering. Before joining Entropic, he managed the product engineering group for Mindspeed Technologies which develops a range of advanced telecommunications and networking ICs. He served in similar roles at Conexant Systems and its predecessor company, Rockwell International, during a period of explosive growth in the company's DSL chipset business. Other experience includes senior product engineering positions with industry pioneers Brooktree and TRW, where he drove product qualification and commercialization efforts for a variety of communications, video and A/D converter products. Mr. Pappas holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.

John Walecka is a founding partner of Redpoint Ventures. Prior to founding Redpoint, John was a general partner with Brentwood Venture Capital, a firm he joined in 1984. John currently focuses on the core infrastructure and application services areas revolving around the next generation broadband Internet. John also serves as Director of the Western Association of Venture Capitalists (WAVC) and is a Director of the Stanford Business School Venture Capital Trust. Prior to joining Brentwood, John worked at Hewlett Packard and the Stanford University Smart Product Design Laboratory. ALEX HARTIGAN is a Managing Director of Steamboat Ventures. Alex joined Steamboat Ventures in 2005, bringing his global venture capital and operating experience in the digital media and consumer technology sectors. In 2006, Alex moved to Shanghai in conjunction with Steamboat opening its China office. Alex currently serves on the boards of Duowan , 56.com and CTS. Alex has covered a broad range of investment sectors in Technology, Media and Telecom: web services, broadband communications, digital home, retail services, new media advertising, wireless services, security, cable and Internet infrastructure. Alex has also held various sales and business development roles at startup companies such as Jotspot (acquired by Google) and DoDots. This included an overseas assignment in London for DoDots. Alex received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Government from Georgetown University.
